Fresh out of college and looking for a new start, 35 year old Victor Cooper had gotten an internship, working for the Department of Social Affairs. He had high hopes to gain great experience and be in an  excellent, positive work environment. And part of his hopes were true.

During the midst of a political crisis, all hell breaks loose and chaos ensues: with Victor being thrown in the middle of it.

Malcolm Tucker, a cutthroat, foul-mouthed  politician who works alongside Victor, had caught his eye and despite Malcolm's unhinged personality, the two became rather close friends.

As y'all know, I've been obsessed with the BBC show The Thick of It and of course me being a Peter Capaldi simp i fell in love with Malcolm Tucker....hence this fic lol
