Pitch turns at the sound of his Nightmare returning before his gaze sets on the globe, the small lights no longer disappearing.

"The lights..." He mumbles, his brows furrowing as the fairies chitter above him in cages. "Why aren't they going out?!"

The Nightmare whinnies in reply, snorting and shaking its head.

"They're collecting the teeth?"

The Fairies chitter in excitement, some smug with smirks and other with relieved smiles.
"Oh, pipe down! Or I'll stuff a pillow with you!" Pitch bellows in a rage, angrily pointing to the Fairies.

His Nightmare tilts its head, slowly approaching Pitch. He glances at the Nightmare, his eyes blazing as he snarls at the creature.

The nightmare whines in fear before backing away and disappearing into dust.

Pitch scoffs, using the dust and bending it to his will to create Sandman. A nightmare stalks up behind him, snorting and catching its creators attention.

"What is it?!" He snarls, his eyes still trained on the small image of the Sandman. The nightmare hesitates, backing away before snorting and whining, shrinking back as Pitch's eyes widen like saucers, his breath hitching as he looks up.

"..she's still thinking about me?"

The nightmare whines in reply, it's back arching as Pitch turns to face it, the faintest outline of a smile gracing his lips, making the fairies all shift uncomfortably.

The boogeymen takes a moment to recollect himself, shaking his head before looking down at the black sculpture in his palm.

"Fine, have your last hurrah, for tommorow..all your pathetic scrambling will be for nothing.."

"Left central incisor," Tooth whispers to herself, admiring the tooth before smirking with a raised brow. "Knocked out in a freak sledding accident. I wonder how that could have happened, you two?"

(Y/N) smirks sheepishly as she sat at the edge of Jamie's bed, her cloak pooling around her thighs. She looks to Jack with a chuckle, the boy looking back with a smirk.

"Kids, huh?" He jokes, his hand setting on a picture Jamie had drawn. He trails the image with his finger, a gentle smile on his face.

(Y/N) watches him with a fond look, her fingers pulling together and tugging at the skin between her knuckles. She couldn't get the conversation she had with Jack out of her head.

She felt bad..no, terrible, with how their talk ended. The image of Jack's distraught face was permanently engraved into her brain. The tears spilling from his eyes, the way his lips trembled as he tried so hard to keep his cries in.

It broke her even more to hear his heavy breathing, the way his shoulders shook with every breath will forever stay with her.

But what made the whole ordeal even worse was the fact that she was the cause of his pain, she was the reason why the beautiful Jack Frost shook and trembled with so much hurt and betrayal.

But she couldn't dwell on this any longer, she and Jack would talk about this, just not now..

(Y/N) sighed from her spot, her attention pulled as Tooth gently lifts off the ground, her wings fluttering quickly as she hovered over Jamie.

"This was always the part I liked most. Seeing the kids," she chuckles quietly, her gaze landing on Jamie's peaceful face as he slept.

"You seem pretty good with them.." (Y/N) mumbles with a chuckle, Tooth's face erupting into a gentle blush. She glances towards the women, sending a nervous smile her way before her attention is pulled by Jamie.

Jack raises a brow at the two, his fingers twitching around his staff nervously as the women steal glances towards eachother. The boy sighs heavily, deciding not to dwell on the negative thoughts.

She can date whoever she wants..why should I care..

"Hmm," Jack hums lightly, squatting down at Jamie's side and resting his staff on his shoulders. "It's a little different up close, huh?" Tooth smiles, fluttering away from Jamie and flying between the two.

"Thanks for being here, guys. I wish I'd known about your memories," she sighs, taking their hands and squeezing them.

"Here you are!" North's voice grunts, the window clanking as he loudly opens it and squeezes through. "Ah! You two! Slacking off again?" He questions loudly, looking between Jack and (Y/N).

The two shift uncomfortably at the sentence, looking away and searching for anything other than eachother.

"Shh!" Tooth sharply hisses, pointing to Jamie as North freezes with wide eyes. "Oh!" He softly whispers, nodding as Sandy enters after him. "What gives, you guys?" North smiles, watching Tooth. "How you feeling, Toothy?"

"Believed in!" Tooth smiles widely, flying to North as he lets out a quiet wheeze.

"That's what I want to hear."

"Oh, I see how it is," Bunny's voice enters the room as he jumps from his tunnel. "Now you're all working together to make sure the rabbit gets last place!"

Jack and (Y/N) jump as everyone loudly shushes Bunny, making him flinch back.
"Yeah, well.." Jack smirks, approaching Bunny.

"Check it out, Peter Cottontail!"

He takes his bag, showing it off and smirking at the rabbit. Bunny scoffs as he looks between the bag and Jack.

"You call that a bag of choppers?" He raises his bag that was a bit bigger than his. "Now that's a bag of choppers."

"Oh please.." (Y/N) scoffs, the boys attention immediately on her. She saunters forward, raising a hand before patting Jack on the shoulder and scratching under Bunny's chin teasingly.

The rabbit shifts at the feeling, his leg beginning to hop enthusiastically before he snaps his attention forward, his ears pulled against his forehead in embarrassment.

Jack scoffs at the head pats, swatting his friends hand away before she pulls out an even bigger bag, double the size and twice the weight.

Jack's and Bunny's eyes widen at the bag, but get pulled away as North calls over to them.

"Gentlemen, this is about Tooth!" North interrupts, shoving between them. "It's not a competition. But if it was.."

He slams his large sack of teeth onto the ground, making (Y/N) flinch at the loudness.

"I win!!" He shouts, laughing and jumping around while firing finger guns in the air.

"YEE-HAWW!!"

They all freeze as a bright light was shined onto North, making him gasp and stumble. "Santa Claus?" Jamie breathes out with a light gasp. He shines the light at Bunny, making him flinch.

"The Easter Bunny?" Bunny nervously laughs, nodding.

"Sandman?" Sandy waves with a grin, unfazed.

"The Tooth Fairy!" Jamie's eyes widen as his flashlight shines upon the winged women "I knew you'd come!!"

"Surprise! We came!" Tooth giggles as Jamie shines his light around. "He can see us?" Jack breathes out, (Y/N) looking up with false hope. She brings her hand up, about to wave to the boy before his flashlight passes them, the boy not sparing either of the two a glance.

"Most of us," Bunny reminds in low tone as the light passes by again, (Y/N) looking down, her eyes blurring over.

North glances sadly at them, Tooth frowning as she looks between Jamie and the two.
Jack flinches slightly, his hand finding (Y/N)'s and squeezing it.

"He is still awake!" Tooth reminds, pointing to Jamie. "Sandy, knock him out!" Bunny quickly says, making Sandy narrow his eyes and punch his fist in his hand as Jamie gasps. "With the Dreamsand, you gumbies!"

The group all gasp as Jamie's dog hops onto the bed, it's eyes trained onto Bunny, lips pulled into a menacing snarl.

"No! Stop! That's the Easter Bunny!" Jamie frantically shouts at the dog, crawling to her and setting his hand on her back. "What are you doing, Abby? Down!"

"All right, nobody panic," Bunny speaks slowly, waving his hand and setting his bag
down.

(Y/N) nervously looks around, her brows furrowed as Jack looks to her with a smirk.

"Um, that's a greyhound," he informs, smirking and pointing to Abby. "Do you know what greyhounds do to rabbits?" He emphasizes, pointing at Bunny.

"Bunny.." (Y/N) warns in a low voice as Bunny brings his arms up, sending the girl a small smile.

"I think it's a pretty safe bet he's never met a rabbit like me, (Y/N)," Bunny replies, his tone dripping with sarcasm.

"6'1, nerves of steel, amazing speed," Bunny lists, bragging as (Y/N) sighs lightly and looks around.

Jack looks down, his eyes flickering to Jamie's alarm clock, a smile slowly stretching on his face as he nods. (Y/N) bites her lip as she takes Jack's staff, slowly leaning over and stretching it towards the clock.

"..master of tai-chi, and the ancient art of-" She taps the clock, making it blare loudly, causing Abby to instantly become alert and bark at Bunny.

"Crikey!" Bunny yells, exclaiming fearfully as Abby snarls and begins to chase him. Jack starts laughing, holding his stomach as (Y/N) cackles, her arms curling at her sides.

Her laugh is cut off by Sandy running into her legs as he smacks his dreamsand ball around, startled by everything.

"Stop! Sit!" Jamie screams at Abby, watching her chase Bunny. "Down girl, down!"
Jack grabs her arm, leaping onto Jamie's dresser with another laugh as Bunny races past them.

"Sandy! Sandy!" North yells as Sandy tries to aim at Abby. He cries out as Bunny runs past him, nearly knocking him down.

Sandy aims and throws the ball of sand, missing Abby and nearly hitting North, but striking Tooth as he dodges it.

She collapses with a yawn, Baby Tooth doing the same as little teeth appear above them.
(Y/N) nervously laughs as Jack hugs her to his side so she wouldn't fall off the dresser.

"She's rabid! Get this dingo off me!" Bunny screams as the ball of sand flies around the room, striking him and Abby.

He yawns, falling as carrots appear above his head, bones for Abby. The ball of sand hits North, making him sway as candycanes appear above him.

"Candycanes!" He slurs, poking one before collapsing onto the bed. Jamie flies through the air with a laugh, landing in Sandy's arms. He nods, using his magic to make Jamie fall asleep.

(Y/N) sighs, stepping off the dresser and looking around at her fallen friends.
Bunny's carrots and North's Candycanes collide, making the carrot dance using the Candycane as a cane.

"Oh, I really wish I had a camera right now!" Jack wheezes, biting his finger lightly. "Nice work, (Y/N)! I'm actually proud!" He laughs, grinning at me.

"Anytime.." she jokes, rubbing her neck as he throws his arm around her waist and pulls her in.

Sandy smirks and raises a brow, looking between them as (Y/N) looks down at Jack, tugging her lips between her teeth as she leans in. Her eyes widen as his smile falls, her head snapping to the window.

Jack looks back, gasping as a nightmare neighs before taking off, (Y/N) immediately flying over and hoping out the window without a second thought.

"Sandy come on! We can find Pitch!" Jack yells as he swiftly races after the Nightmares.

Sandy waddles over, looking around at his friend before exiting the window and following after his friends.

...

Sophie enters Jamie's room, gasping softly as she looks around before giggling. She tried climbing North's coat, pausing as a snowglobe falls from his pocket.

She grabs it, gasping softly.

"Pretty..!" Her gaze lands on Bunny, making her smile widen. "Bunny! Hop, hop, hop!"

Three eggs appear in the snowglobe, making her gasp in awe and coo with a giggle. She yelps as she trips over Abby, dropping the snowglobe.

It bounces and forms a portal, making her eyes widen as she approaches it with a laugh, disappearing with the portal.

"What?! Huh?" North slurs, sitting up.
He sways lightly, passing out once more into dreamland.

It seems a new adventure is about to begin..
