Juliet stumbled in the Hogwarts bathrooms, her bones felt like they were crushing within her body. She was sweating so bad it looked like she'd fallen in a bath of water. Juliet hitched over the toilet, gagging but nothing coming up. She'd never in her life felt this bad, her empty potion body hit the bathrooms floors as she caught her breath.
"Jules." a familiar voice rung.
"Go away, Ron!" Juliet called out in embarrassment, holding her head in her hands a moment. The bathroom doors opened, hesitant feet hurried in. Ron was red in the face from being in the girls bathroom, stopping infront of the only stall closed, "Please, just go."
"You're sick." Ron spoke from the other side, "I'll take you to the hospital wing."
"I'm fine." Juliet said, leaning on the door and inhaling shaky, "You shouldn't be in here."
Ron knew she was right, "I had a dream."
Juliet shook her head as she shut her eyes. Ron began to speak again, "You need me right now."
"You got all of that from a dream?" Juliet had to laugh, standing up slowly as she waited for him to answer.
"You'd be surprised." he said, taking a step back as the door opened. Ron could admite Juliet looked horrible, she was beautiful and stunning no matter what happened, but she didn't look good right now. Her beautiful, dark skin looked paler in her face. Her hair was tied up while he knew she hated it like that because she was insecure about her ears. Her eyes were sunken in and they were extremely dark underneath. She didn't even look like her, "Come on, Madam Pom-"
"I don't want to go to the hospital wing." Juliet spoke, he noticed her voice was scratchy and barely there, "Where Lavender? It's not right for us to be together alone."
"Why?" Ron asked as she walked past him toward the sink, "I thought you said you wanted to stay friends."
"We are friends." Juliet spoke, not looking at him, "She's your girlfriend, it's about respect."
Ron didn't say anything as Juliet dried her hands. Instead, he grabbed her wrist forcefully and drug her away.
Ron stared at Juliet as she sipped at her pumpkin juice, "Reckon you and Parkinson are friends again?"
Juliet shrugged, "I guess so."
"Means you and Malfoy are hanging out?" Ron continued to question her. Juliet gave him a look as he only returned it, "Mum wants you to come for christmas."
Juliet stared a moment, "Did you not tell her that-"
"I did." Ron nodded with a small laugh, "She still wants you to come."
Juliet had to smile slightly, "That's probably not a good idea, it's your family."
He wanted to tell her she was his family too, but didn't. He only nodded his head, "Lav should be out of class soon."
"Yeah, you should go to her." Juliet nodded with a cough, "I'll be fine."
"A stomach bug, I reckon?" he asked in worried, Ron imagined the worst. But Juliet wouldn't lie to him, he had to believe that. Her lace gloves wrapped around the warm mug.
"Suppose so." Juliet nodded, sipping the pumpkin juice, "I'll let Madam Pomfrey look at me later on."
Ron gave a small smile, his eyes were sad as he stared at her. Juliets were too, staring at him. Stay, just stay. She wanted to say it, wanted to show it more then anything.
But he didn't.
"Are you going home for christmas?" Pansy asked as she sat next to Juliet. Theo had invited her to join them in the woods later on, Blaise had a small fire going as the pair spoke a few feet away.
"Yeah, it's my nieces second christmas." Juliet said. Pansy laughed as she looked over at her with a odd look.
"Reckon you'd be more happy about that." Pansy laughed as Juliet cracked a small smile, rubbing the side of her head.
"I am, it's just..." Juliet trailed off as her smile fell slightly, "Christmas Eve would be mine and Ron's two years together."
"Oh merlin, if I hear about Weasley one more time i'm going to rip my hair out." Pansy spoke as Juliet sighed, "You've gotta stop mopping around, it's his loss."
"I'm not mopping around." Juliet defend herself, twisting her yellow top slightly, "I just feel horrible."
"You've got a ranging fever." Pansy nodded her head as she felt Juliets arm on hers, "Maybe you should actually have Madam Pomfrey look at you, she's pretty good at that. She let Draco stay in for days after Hagrids beast tried to kill him."
"What?" Juliet asked, she had to laugh, "Malfoy was nearly killed by Hagrids beast?"
"Yes, third year." Pansy nodded as Juliet laughed loudly again, a few birds flying from the trees, "He almost died."
"That boy." Juliet shook her head, "Did you guys invite him?"
"We did, who knows when he'll show though." Pansy frowned with a shrug, "He's been acting strange."
Juliet nodded understanding, "Maybe I can talk to him."
Pansy gave her a alarmed look, "No offense, Juliet, but he's-"
"Gonna call me a mudblood and insult me in every way possible." Juliet nodded as she looked over at Pansy, "I can handle him perfectly fine."
Draco had showed up, about a hour later with a nod. He didn't talk much, staying over on one of the seats they brought out to the woods. Juliet let him be for a while before heading over, "Hey."
He rolled his eyes at him, "What do you want?"
Juliet shoved him over as she sat next to him, coughing slightly. Draco looked at her in disgust, "What is your problem? You look horrible, worse then before."
"Thank you." Juliet said, clearing her throat, "It's just a cold."
"Well, you're disgusting me so go on." he waved her off, Juliet stayed.
"Pansy's worried about you." Juliet spoke as she nudged him, getting only a fake gag, "Would you stop? You act like you don't like me."
"I don't like you." he defended himself in disbelief, "Do you think just because you and Blaise are related by default we're friends?"
"You liked me when I held you." Juliet said knowingly as he gave a odd look, "When you turned into that ferret."
Draco looked away, Juliet grinned, "Got you."
"You do not got me." he rolled his eyes.
"I do." Juliet said with a grin, "Whats going on with you?"
"It's non of your business." Draco snapped at her knowingly, "You're the last person i'd tell anything to."
"Then tell Pansy." Juliet said with a huff as he looked over at her, "I can't imagine why they care so much about you, but they do."
Juliet nodded toward the trio all talking, Juliet could imagine it was about the two of them.
Draco didn't say anything, only glancing at her gloves, "Why do you wear those? They look horrible, you need new ones."
Juliet nodded, "I know, but I feel like i'm betraying them by getting new ones."
Draco gave her a odd look, "I hate them."
"Yeah, me too." Juliet nodded her head, hitting him on the shoulder before leaving him.
Christmas Eve rolled around pretty quickly, everyone boarding the Hogwarts Express to go back home to their respected family's. Juliet wished she'd hurried first thing, so she didn't have to see him.
Ron stared at her, the pair nearly running into each other, "Hi."
"Hi." Juliet said back, trying to move past him but they both moved in the same direction three times. Juliet paused, "You go ahead."
Ron hesitated as he moved past her, pausing, "Happy christmas."
Juliet cleared her throat with a minor smile, "Happy Christmas, Ron."
If Juliet hadn't gotten so use to the bone crushing effect the potions had on her, she'd had felt her heart break.
