Shubman's POV:

I woke up due to the sunlight that fell on my eyes filtered through the sheer white curtains. My eyes caught Shivina's figure who slept beside me in a sitting position. I got some vivid memories of last night when she sat beside me placing those wet napkins all night on my forehead for my temperature to be normal. I guess she slept while taking care of me. I got up and decided to put her to bed so she could have enough sleep but I guess she's not a heavy sleeper and woke up with the slightest of action.

Shivina: good morning Shubi! How are you feeling now?

Shubman: better then before and thank you Shivi for taking care of me!

Shivina: oye bestie bola hai na mujhe yeh thank you bol k formalities kyun kar raha hai!

Shubman: ok meri caretaker!

Shivina: tu fresh ho ja then doctor k paas bhi jana hai tests k liye di ne baat kar li hai team doctor se!

Shubman: arey but ab toh theek hun main!

Shivina: Shubman it can be dengue too kyunki symptoms bohot similar hain please yeh sab lightly mat le!

Shubman: ok ma'am main ready ho jata hun!

Shivina: main di ko bhejti hun u get ready! I'll leave now!

She left but I stood there not wanting her to leave. After getting ready di came in my room and together we went to the team doctor's room. He tied the tourniquet around my hand and injected the syringe, taking out a blood about a half a tube. 

doctor: you'll get the reports by today evening. I guess that's fine with you guys?

Shubman: yeah sure doctor and thank you!

doctor: Shubman one more think the symptoms look like dengue so be hydrated and don't mess with your diet.

Shahneel: I'll see to it doctor

Shivina's POV:

I came back to me room in the morning. Whole night I was with Shubman, from the moment I went to check on him. And coming back to the room it striked me that I let my shawl in his room. It's okay I can take it later.

I went to the washroom and came out after brushing my teeth and taking a shower. I wore a casual tee with a pair of black denims and headed towards Nivisha's room. I knocked at the door and she opened the door. I could see a sleepy Nivisha who I guess just got up. 

Shivina: oye madam breakfast nhi karna kya?

Nivisha: haan tu ruk main aati hun fresh hoke!

Shivina: jaldi aa!

I plopped on the bed scrolling through my phone that's when my eyes caught many hate comments about myself regarding me being with ICT especially Shubman. This acted like a mirror which made me realize that I can never take Sara's place in Shubman's life and our worlds our very different I'm a just a mere model while he's a world famous cricketer the prince of Indian cricket. It's high time I should get over the feelings I have for him for him. 

I'm just a fangirl and friend to him, my feelings might be genuine for him but he doesn't feel the same and the only option I'm left with is to ignore my feelings and maybe sometimes him too.

Author's POV:

Nivisha came out dressed and they left for the lounge to have their breakfast. Everyone was present there except Shubman and Sara. She went to Shahneel to ask what the doctor said. 

Shahneel: doctor ne blood samples toh liye hai aur bole ki reports shaam tak aa jayengi

Shivina: oh btw di Shubman kahan hai?

Shahneel: apne room mein hai oh bol raha hai breakfast nhi karna!

Shivina: but he can't be skipping meals when he's already not so well

Shahneel: maine bola but sunta kahan hai meri

Shivina: main uska breakfast leke chali jaati hun us k room mein

Shahneel: tu saath mein apna bhi leke chal ja usko company milegi

Shivina: ohk di!

Shivina informed about her whereabouts to Nivisha before leaving to Shubman's room with the tray filled with breakfast. Upon reaching she ring the doorbell and a messed up Sara. Her hairs were messy and lips swollen. Shivina was getting numerous thoughts upon seeing her until her eyes caught a hickey on Sara's neck which was exposed due to her v neck top. 

The hickey was a proof that Shubman is not her but Sara's and she should stop caring so much about him and stop acting like his girlfriend. Shubman's voice was heard from behind asking who's on the door, while coming towards the duo.

Shubman: Sara who's there?

Sara: it's Shivina

Shubman: oh hi Shivi! tu yahan?

Shivina: haan woh u didn't come to have breakfast so I brought you breakfast.

Shivina's eyes caught Shubman's appearance and tears dwelled in her eyes, threatening to flow any moment. His lips were smudged with a pink tint and his hairs were messy too.

Sara took the tray from her hand, thanking her.

Sara: thank you so much Shivina for the breakfast.

Shivina: it's alright btw Shubman u don't have fever now na?

Shubman: nhi I'm all good now

Shivina: I'll get going then, bye

The couple too bid her bye before going in the room. Shivina went to her room and sat there opening her laptop and going through the emails that were unread. She no longer had appetite to have breakfast nor she was in the mood all she knew was she had to get these feeling away and move on.

The whole day she was in the backyard of the hotel working on her dream project which is starting a skincare, haircare and makeup brand all in one, for which she was preparing stuffs like getting the products tested officially, getting investors for her startup and other stuffs. Being a model she had great network bandwidth, and it helped her a lot in the startup. 

She picked her phone and switched off the flight mode, numerous message and missed call notifications dropped instantly. Few of them were from her family and few were from Nivisha and the ICT members.

She looked at the time and it was 1 in the noon currently. She decided on going to the lounge for lunch and anyways she can't be messing her diet because of someone her health is more important to her.

She came to the lounge and saw few members along them Ishan and Nivisha too. The duo were enjoying each others company but it didn't last long when Nivisha's gaze fell on her best friend. She came towards Shivina and started bombarding questions on her.

Nivisha: kahan thi tu pure time main Shubman k room bhi gayi tujhe dhundhne usne bola tu breakfast de kar chali gayi aur niche bhi nahi aayi breakfast k liye aur toh aur apne room mein bhi nhi thi

Shivina: kaam kar rahi thi madam main

Nivisha: itna kya important kaam hai ki tu apne health k saath khel rahi hai aur kahan gayab thi pure time?

Shivina: nhi miss karungi abse breakfast aur main backyard mein thi ek meeting thi investors k saath then kuch modelling proposals the toh un sab ko checkout kar rahi thi 

Nivisha: woh sab chor aur lunch karne chal tujhe pata hai aunty ko maine kaise sambhala!

Shivina: tu mujhe mail kar sakti thi na

Nivisha: haan tu phone mat utha aur main mails karun tujhe!

Shivina: acha sorry meri maa ab chal lunch karne waise bhi subah se kuch nhi khaya hai maine

Nivisha: haan chal

They saw Sara and Shubman coming towards them but Shivina decided to ignore the duo and settled down on one of the seats while waiting for their lunch and talking to Nivisha about some of her modelling offers she received earlier.
