Author's POV:

Hardik is currently in the backyard of the hotel looking after the preparations of his dearest sister, along with Ishan who is more excited then the birthday girl herself. 

While on the other side Shubman already left with Sara for a dayout. The whole day Shivina kept thinking about how Shubman didn't even wished her. She was upset surely but kept convincing herself that he might forgot or he might be busy as it is also Sara's b'day.

It was already evening and Natasa came to Shivina's room with a dress for today's evening.

Natasa: baby get ready fast! here's your dress for today I and Hardik especially bought this for you

Shivina: thank you bhabhi aur kya plan kar rahe ho aap log?

Natasa: that's a surprise! get ready fast! I'll go now main bhi ready ho jati hun

Shivina: ok bhabhs

Shivina's POV:

After bhabhi left I changed to the dress bhabhs gave me. It is a wine red pleated off shoulder slit gown. I paired it up with a Cartier bracelet, gold chain with a diamond-ruby pendant and a pair of diamond-ruby drop earrings. Slipping on the black jimmy choo heels with diamond straps in it, I reapplied the wine lipstick I put along with the smokey eyes and light makeup. 

I heard a knock on the door, opening the door I saw both Karan and Nivisha standing there with a blindfold in Karan's hand.

Nivisha: babe you look so hot!

Shivina: thank you bby!

Karan: ready?

Shivina: haan! 

Karan: waise manna padega sundar toh lag rahi hai tu aaj!

Shivina: thank you but yeh blindfold kis liye?

Nivisha: yeh harry bhai aur bhabhi ka plan hai

He instantly wrapped the blindfold around my eyes, taking me out of the room once Nivi closed the room. I could feel the movement of the elevator come to hold indicating our arrival to other floor I guess.

Harry bhai removed my blindfold, and my eyes went wide on the arrangements he and bhabhs did for my birthday. I've always been very close to harry bhai and Krunal bhai and not to mention but harry bhai is close to me the most.

The whole of ICT and WAGs wished me, also showering me with gifts. 

Rohit: happy woh Shivi! 

Virat: abey sale tera woh kab khatam hoga?

Rohit: arey woh samajh gayi meri baat!

Ishan: kon kya samajh gaya?

Then came Keart aunty, uncle and Shahneel di. They too wished me and Shahneel di handed me a gift. 

Shivina: di aunty ne mujhe subah hi gift dedi thi fir iski kya zarurat thi?

Shahneel: woh tere aunty uncle ne di thi yeh teri di de rahi hai aur ab no ifs and buts

Shivina: thank you di btw Shubman kahan hai?

Shahneel: aaj sara ka b'day hai na so he's with her

Shivina: oh haan I wished her in the morning

Shahneel: aur tere bestfriend ne kya gift diya?

Shivina: kon Karan?

Shahneel: nhi Shubi ne

Shivina: birthday wish karna bhool gaye hai sir aur aap gift ki baat kar rahi hain!

Keart: bilkul nalayak hai yeh ladka

Shivina: arey aisi baat nhi hai aunty bas busy hai aaj woh thora

Keart: aisa bhi kya busy hai ki ek wish nhi kar sakta

Shivina: aunty aap na yeh sab choro hum party enjoy karte hain

Karan and Nivi went to the center of the lawn where the dance floor was situated. Taking up the mic they to continue with the job of hosting today.

Karan: toh bhaiyo aur unki biwiyan jaisa ki aap sab jante hain, aaj humari Shivi ka b'day hai but jab tak birthday mein dance, music aur drinks na ho tab tak maza nhi aata!

Nivisha: so get yourself some drinks and hit the dance floor! Let the party begin guys!

After the waiters served us drinks all of us headed to the dancefloor to enjoy us. While Uncle aunty were the center of attraction, cutely enjoying. Sometime later Karan and Nivisha came with the cake. Surrounded by everyone in a circle, I cut the cake with everyone clicking pics and shooting video.

We enjoyed a bit more before heading for dinner since it was already 9:30. Uncle went with the ICT as he had a great bond with the players and they also saw him as a father figure. While aunty was sitting along with us and the WAGs. She's way too cute and very much loving and funny. Our vibe matched instantly and we were already gossiping about different stuffs.

I walked to the drinks corner with Nivisha.

Nivisha: oye madam mood theek kar apna

Shivina: main theek hi hun

Nivisha: haan woh dikh raha hai! bhool mat bestfriend hoon teri aur tujhe bohot ache se janti hun.

Shivina: aisa kuch bhi nhi hai jaisa tujhe lag raha hai

Nivisha: Ik ki Shubman ne tujhe wish nhi kiya but us k wajah se apna mood kharab kar legi woh bhi khud k birthday pe

Shivina: but I atleast expected a wish from him but guess what main hi hun jo ki is friendship mein saari initiatives leti hun from surprising him on his birthday late at night because he was away from his family.

The moment we were done with our dinner and sat in a round chit chatting, my eyes caught Sara and Shubman who were walking towards the entrance which was beside the lawn where harry bhai arranged everything. Our eyes met for a second, before I looked to the other side completely ignoring their presence.

From the corner of my eyes I could see Ishan and harry bhai going towards them and inviting them to join the us. The very next moment Shubman was hugging his parents while Sara stood at a distance later meeting them. Everyone wished her as I too did but this time face to face and not through text, but guess what she decided to be rude and not to whish me knowing it's my birthday and she's attending my birthday party I guess.

While aunty and Shahneel di were talking to Sara, Shubman disappeared and came back with a cake along with Arjun. We all gathered around the round table where the cake was placed as Sara cut the last cake of today. After cutting the cake she first fed to her brother and Shubman.

During the whole series of event going on Ishan played a romantic song announcing a couple dance. All the ICT couples were on stage except Sara, Shubman, Ishan, Karan, Nivisha and me.

Karan forwarded his hand towards me asking for a dance. I gladly accept his offer and we moved to the dance floor along with Nivisha and Ishan.

Author's POV:

Shubman's eye lingered on Shivina who was on the dance floor with Karan's arm wrapped around her in a securing manner, grooving to the romantic beats of Tose Naina!

He was gawking at them, when Karan twirled Shivina as her back landed on his chest. Whispering pjs to Shivina making her laugh. Shubman irked upon seeing her all smiley and laughing with Karan.

His fists curling up in the pocket of his jacket. Varisa's eyes fall on Shubman as she could see him glaring her from a distance. Getting down from the dance floor, I moved towards the drinks corner to get myself some water, could see Shubman too standing there but without Sara. She wasn't with him.

Shubman: happy birthday!

He finally wished me, but guess what I could feel that he wasn't willing to wish and it was just a formality he did. My heart broke at the way he was behaving from last night and the worst is I didn't even know the reason. He said we were friends in fact best friends but friends don't behave like this they instead sort things out.

Shivina: thank you! Finally you remembered!

Shubman: I was busy and after all you already had your bestfriend 

Shivina: really Shubman?

Shubman: what?

Shivina: you decided not to wish me but you still chose to taunt me

Shubman: I'm not taunting you

Shivina: you are Shubman! Didn't I even deserved a wish from my bestfriend? I know today was an important day for you but didn't you have to minutes to wish me? Is this what you call friendship?

Shubman: see Shivina we are not kids anymore to talk over friendship! I was busy and everyone wished you right!? So what if I didn't wish you it's not a big deal

Shivina: so now I'm Shivina to you rather than Shivi! and yeah it's not a big deal after all who am I too you! anyways thank you for the wish!

I stormed in, to the hotel and thankfully there weren't people coz some left already for their room and the one's who were there were busy enough to not notice our grapple.
