Opened at 8:23 A.M.

ANASTASIA BLEW A raspberry past her lips as she plopped down in the large cushioned chair of the campus cafe in the student union. Her backpack was filled to the brim with syllabi, notebooks, and her laptop. She was enrolled in quite a few pre-med classes, given her desired profession was sports medicine. She was a hard worker, being near the top of her graduating class, and maintaining her GPA all throughout high school, she considered herself 'hella' lucky when she got a full-ride academic scholarship.

Her and Ethan had been snapping all day, well when they could. Most of his snaps being shot from under the desk with his brown hair peeking out from underneath his baseball cap, and a stupid smile on his face most of the time; Anastasia had a hard time not swooning in the middle of her first-day-of-classes lectures.

It was quickly becoming a problem: to keep up her façade of finding Ethan nothing but annoying. But as previously stated, Anastasia's a stubborn woman, and won't give into her emotions that easily. She had an education to learn, a hockey team to keep together. The last thing she needed was a boy making her mind fuzzy.

The thudding of a case landing on the table in front of her broke her from her swarming thoughts. "Oh my god why did I decide to major in music performance?" Lola groaned as she sat down, her gaze shooting bullets at her trumpet case. Anastasia had an entertained expression on her face, "So I'm guessing music theory sucked?" Lola's harsh eyes moved to her friend who sat catty cornered from her, "No shit, it sucked. Harmonic steps this, major chord that. It's all fucking useless when you're actually playing the music," she exclaims under her breath, rolling her eyes and pulling out her phone from her short's pocket.

Anastasia let out a snort at her friend's annoyance, "And this is why I dropped out of band in high school." "Hey at least I'm breaking the stereotype that all music majors are ugly," Lola shrugged, making the obsidian haired girl nod her head in agreement.

After she sent her another snap to Ethan, seeing that he's about to finish his last class of the day, Anastasia inhaled deeply and set her phone down on the table that was next to the chair she was sitting in, "So what time does their practice start? And are we getting coffee?" She watched as Lola rolled her eyes and dropped her phone on her lap. "This bitch just snapped me a picture of some bitch." She grumbled, leaning her head back against the chair. "I'm gonna guess Mark sent you a pic of him sitting next to a girl in class?" Anastasia questioned. Lola's annoyed glared gave her the answer she needed. "Okay I'm gonna guess again, you don't know the time practice starts and you do, in fact, want coffee." Her statement only made Lola nod her head as she picked up her phone once more.

Anastasia walked up to the register and ordered their coffee, offering the barista a nice smile before she made her way back to her and Lola's table they had claimed, and opened her phone.
