Clementine adjusted her bag on her shoulder using her left hand as Louis held onto her right a bit too tight. He was clearly nervous. Sebastian and Louis had all operated within the same circles for years, but they had always remained polite acquaintances. Clementine could tell Louis wanted to make friends with her friends and didn't want to mess the reunion up. As the car hit a speed bump, she leaned into him a little bit for balance all he offered back was a slightly nervous smile.

Clementine just hoped this would go well as she didn't know who would even be there besides Sebastian, and she wanted her transition into life back in London to go as smooth as possible.
When the Uber stopped at Borough Market, Louis, being the gentleman he was, opened the door for Clementine as she texted Sebastian they were there. The enthusiastic response was that everyone else was already at the restaurant. Clementine then nudged Louis saying, "They're all at the restaurant already apparently. I didn't think we were late or anything, but it looks like you'll have to walk faster."

Louis smirked, "Well, we would have been earlier if you hadn't taken forever to get dressed." Clementine's obviously fake offense made Louis backtrack. "I mean, at least we're fashionably late!"
The couple couldn't stop laughing even as they entered the bustling restaurant hand in hand.
The two navigated their way to the table she saw Sebastian at, Clementine leading Louis like a lost puppy. Her laughing fizzled out as she saw an all too familiar face. He was not supposed to be here. This was going to be a catastrophe and she knew it.
Sebastian stood up as he saw the couple come into view, yelling a greeting and walking over to hug a shocked Clementine.
She wasn't the only shocked one.

"Clementine," he yelled, "it's so good to see you again, it's been absolutely ages." As everyone else at the table stood up to greet the two and exchange pleasantries, Sebastian introduced them to his friends from his most recent show, Heartstopper. Louis was a natural at this meet and greet stuff and everyone eventually sat back down, Clementine and Louis intentionally sitting together as far away from a certain someone's seat as possible. A really funny boy named Will was sat on one side of Louis and a really sweet boy named Joe on the other side of Clementine. They were really pleasant and Clementine talked with them as the waitress came by for orders. All she wanted was to get this whole outing over as politely as possible and leave. Louis, didn't seem to pick up on her discomfort at all as he was laughing along with Will until their food arrived. Clementine pretty much avoided looking at the other side of the table. "Just get through this," she repeated in her head, over and over again. The last thing she wanted was to make this whole thing awkward and mess the night up for everyone else.
As everyone was talking, Clementine slipped away to the bathroom. Although she loved her new friends and the dinner, it was all a bit overwhelming. She washed her hands and fixed her hair a bit in the mirror. She wondered if she'd changed much since her last time in London. Well, not that it mattered now or anything.

She stepped out the bathroom as she was checking her texts from her mum who was checking in on her in her usual loving way. She wasn't looking where she was going and her clumsiness got the best of her as she ran, head first, into someone's very firm chest and fell flat on her ass. And, oh shit, of course it was the last person she wanted to see tonight. It was Kit Connor.
