It had been a full month since Kit had heard from or talked to Clementine.
Since the whole coffee shop incident.
A full month. 28 days.
Of course he was worried.
It was only reasonable after seeing the way Louis treated Clementine.
Anyways, it had given Kit loads of time to think. About them, not that there was a them to talk about anymore, but he still cared about her.
Kit still loved her. Every part of him had itched to get her away from Louis.
To grab Clementine and pull her in a hug and never let go.
He knew it was over and he couldn't get his hopes up. But he cared so deeply for the girl he didn't want to let go.
He never had. No matter how much he believed he could get over and move on from Clementine, he knew he couldn't.
He was still deeply and profoundly in love with her.
She was so easy to love.
Every part of her pulled at his heart, and he couldn't help but fall back in love.
What could he possibly do, he was helplessly in love.
And he would continue to be in love with Clementine.
