Clementine and Louis had spent the rest of the day together, going to the supermarket and buying necessary ingredients to make a dinner.

Clementine didn't know what she was thinking, but she wanted to post that photo from the cafe.
From when she was with Kit.

Today had been a normal day after all, hadn't it?

Louis didn't have to know either.
What he didn't know couldn't hurt anybody.

She pressed 'post' while standing at the supermarket's washroom sink. Looking in the mirror a second later to compose herself before going back to Louis.

He had been waiting for her with the cart, pulling her into his side as he began walking them to the cashier. His tight grip didn't let up till he had to use both hands to get his credit card out to pay.

This tension lasted the whole day, Clementine started crying immediately as soon as she chopped the first onion.

Louis stood over at the stove, putting salt into the boiling the water for the pasta. He grimaced.

She went to sleep exhausted. Just wanting her mind to be put to rest by the fog of sleep, while she lay there with Louis.
His arm draped across her middle, pulling her tight to him. All to him.

She wouldn't deal with her emotions today. And certainly never think about the events of today again.
