Just want to slow down for a while;
Always feeling I'm behind by a mile.
Wish to be able to give a real smile.
Silence the voices, let worries defile.

Live according to my own style;
Not some preconstructed profile.
Learn from my error and trial.
Finding inner peace is worthwhile.

Running through the dark night,
With a blindfold on my eyes.
Really don't care about a prize;
