ABOUT THE CHARACTER: she's really fast and enjoys running, so she's on the track with jennifer and khalil. she likes to draw because of her mother, so she enjoys art in class. very sarcastic and witty, like all of my characters because i am sarcastic. a lot of people hate that about her, but others love it (khalil and jennifer). she's had feelings for jennifer since eighth grade, and now artemis and khalil make fun of each other for having feelings for the girl.

POWER/ABILITY: pseudo-vampirism, superhuman strength, superhuman speed, superhuman agility, superhuman reflexes, superhuman senses, heals quickly.
pros (in art's opinion) -- has enhanced senses and enhanced healing. in later seasons, she gains the ability to fucking fly! (how cool is that?! - art). all the things that are known to kill vampires does not really affect her. sometimes the sun does, but that's on rare occasions. she's also really grateful for her enhanced strength.
cons (in art's opinion) -- literally has to drink fucking blood to survive!!! although she can still eat human food? (if she's had blood though) in the first season, she can't control when her claws and fangs decide to show up, which i understand can suck. and on those rare occasions where the sun does affect, it fucking huuuuuurrrrtttsss!!!!

BACKGROUND: artemis daviss grew up in freeland with her parents and her older brother. but at the age of ten, her father was shot and killed because he had tried to stop an altercation from happening one night. this left artemis, her mother, and her brother all alone, but jefferson pierce made sure that he swooped in and made sure that the family was okay. which is how artemis met jennifer. she immediately felt a click between the two of them, but she thought that it was only one sided. but once jennifer realized that artemis and her went to the same school, she realized that it wasn't one sided. fast forward a few years and now the two of them went to garfield high and artemis had gained some sort of feelings for the girl that she had called her best friend (cliche, i know).
