"Gwen!"

A female voice exclaimed, snapping out of her out of her thoughts. Ever since last year, ever since getting sent to another dimensions, things have been different for Gwen to say the least. Now on her own ( well, as a spider-person ), she's been well... in the dark, shall we say.

One good thing came from returning to her dimensions; her and ( Y/N ) got back together, but it wasn't as... joyful as before. I'm this universe, ( Y/N ) is Peter's sister and the only difference between her and Miles's ( Y/N ) is that her obsession is Stranger Things.

Eventually acknowledging her voice, Gwen looked up at the people around her, all of them staring at her with annoyed expressions. She slowly lifted the drumsticks from the cymbals and chuckled nervously.

"This song over?" Gwen chuckled.

"Okay, dude. You don't hangout, the only person you talk to is ( Y/N )-"

Gwen placed her drumsticks down. "I didn't join a band so I can talk. And don't bring ( Y/N ) into this-"

"I came here to talk about my feelings," another band member raised their hand.

"I joined it, so I can hit my feelings with stick," Gwen slammed a drumstick onto a cymbal only for it to be stopped by one of the band members.

The girl let go of the cymbal. "If you don't tell someone what's going on, you're gonna snap."

"I'm fine!"

"That's not how someone who's fine would say it," Mary Jane spoke up.

"You'd say, I'm great! Thanks. How are you?"

"I'm great. Thanks," Gwen mimicked her voice, getting up from the drum set and throwing some parts of the drum aside. "How are you?"

"Gwen, come on! I don't get you."

"You're right!"

"Just tell him, he's your dad — I mean, it's not as bad as glitching away into another dimension."

Needing someone to talk to, Gwen dialed up ( Y/N )'s phone number. Every item she talks to her ( Y/N ), if just amazes her how different she is to Miles's. Well, besides being an energetic nerd ( that's the only similarity ).

Gwen flashed a light smile as she stepped onto the fire escape that led to her bedroom window. There was only one good thing that came from coming back to this dimension and that was seeing her ( Y/N ) again. Like the band, she'd try to get her to talk too but it was just different since she knew.

"You don't glitch into another dimension, but I'll take your word for it," Gwen gave a soft chuckle.

From the other side of the screen ( Y/N ) pulled up two copies of Rebel Robin — a new Stranger Things novel. "Look, tell your dad and after you do we are reading Rebel Robin together and you're gonna enjoy it."

"Yeah, yeah. We'll see," Gwen jumped up to the last step that led to her apartment, taking one long glance at it before sliding the window half-way open.

"Gwen? — Gwen!" ( Y/N ) exclaimed, snapping Gwen out of her thoughts.

"Oh, uh- sorry," Gwen stuttered. "I just..."

"Don't worry. I gotcha, boo," ( Y/N ) winked, snapping her fingers. "Oh, and that is May. I gotta go."

"See ya."

Having a few more seconds of alone ( and the FaceTime being over ), Gwen let out a long, heavy sigh before leaping into her window. Before she could get into her bedroom, her dad took notice in his daughters presence and turned around.

"Oh! Hey, hey, hey. How's the band?" George Stacy inquired.

"Uh... uh, yeah, great. Uh, I quit, so... you know," Gwen put a thumb in the air. "Thumbs up."

As she went to open her bedroom door, George trailed behind her. He was hoping that news in the SpiderWoman case would cheer her up. Oh, only if he knew.

George leaned against the door. "We caught a break in the SpiderWoman case."

"That's great."

"We're close," George stated. "I'm telling ya, I can feel it."

"...me, too."

George sighed. "It'll be good for us."

"Don't be so sure," Gwen slightly turned her head.

"She killed your friend — ( Y/N )'s brother," George continued.

Gwen furrowed her eyebrow. "We don't know that."

"What do you mean I don't know that? I do know that," George stuttered. "Y'know— I was there. She ran from the scene..."

"Maybe she didn't have a choice."

"I got a job to do Gwen,"

"It won't bring him back!" Gwen snapped.

"Uh... I don't wanna argue about this. Okay?"

"I can tell."

George took an inch further into Gwen's room. He just wanted anything — a sign, just to know they were okay. Sometimes he couldn't tell if he was doing the SpiderWoman case out of his job or just grief, for Peter.

"Say, uh.. too punk rock to give your old man a hug-"

At this, Gwen rushed into her father's arms. The moment was interrupted by static coming from George's comms. George slowly let go, listening in;

"All units, possible superhuman event," the man announced. "Guggenheim Museum, suspect is Adrian Toomes..."

"Oh, hey. This could be it," George started walking away. "So, I... will see you later.

Just as her dad left, Gwen turned up the volume on the comms. It was time like this when she didn't care if she was wanted — it was her job to help people. Gwen ran into her room and kicked open part of her drum set where her spider suit was hidden. She grabbed it, turning back to find a Polaroid photo of her, Miles and his universe's ( Y/N ) all smiling on the bus.

Once she got on her suit and turned off the comms of her dad's walkie talkie, Gwen swung out her bedroom window and out the city. She landed on a rooftop where she got a perfect view of the mess below; two helicopters were surveying overhead with lights beaming down and a crowd of pedestrians had grown outside with police tape keeping them away from the scene.

Cops were everywhere looking for Gwen and the Vulture. Just then, an explosion blew a few cops away from the building. George was right there with another officer, holding a file of Adrien Toomes.

"You know what he wants?" George questioned.

"Do you speak Italian?" The female officer shot back.

George shrugged. "I'm an Irish cop"

"Maybe you love pasta or something."

"Everybody on my signal! Look out for signs of SpiderWoman!"

From behind him, a few cops were getting tangled in webs by Gwen and stuck to cop cars. Then he did as well, with his mouth closed shut by webs too.

"We found her."

Gwen swung down, directly facing her father as she made her voice deeper. "How's the manhunt for me going?"

George tried yelling at her, but he could let out a word. Gwen ran into the smoke and into the building where the Vulture was hiding.

"Good to know!"

─── 。゚ *..* :. ───

"Vulture!"

Gwen called out, her voice echoing through the large building. Half of the building was crumbling down as the smoke was fading away. On the sidelines was another woman, hiding from the chaos.

Gwen shrugged. "Well, screaming their name usually works."

Just then, the Vulture came flying in causing Gwen to fall to the floor. When she looked up the Vulture she saw looked completely different. He had an old parchment texture, like one from the renaissance — Italian. He also lived up to his name, it was like he was actually sometime of bird.

"What cursed world have you brought me to?" The Vulture inquired through his thick Italian accent.

As he went on, he began to glitch. Gwen squinted her eyes at this, remembering plenty of times when she glitched in another dimension. She stood up, her curiosity growing.

"You're glitching, huh? Been there," Gwen told him. "Where you from, bud?"

The Vulture for our a arrows, firing them at Gwen. "I am an artist! An engineer!"

"Oh, great. A renaissance man," Gwen said in a sarcastic tone.

Gwen shot a web up at him and swung to the ceiling. She kicked him in the face before flying up and landing on his back. Then she shot a few webs at his wings and pulled on them. They flew around the museum, causing a bit of a mess as he co tinted glitching.

"Sidebar? Uh, maybe you could stop make a mess of the art museum for no reason?" Gwen suggested.

The Vulture scoffed. "You call this art?"

"We're talking about it, aren't we?" Gwen raised an eyebrow. "I mean, it's more of a meta-commentary on what we call art, but it's — its..."

The Vulture managed to throw Gwen off of him and onto the floor by a few head state. He tried blocking the way out, hovering right in front of her. Gwen glanced at a statues, smirked from behind her mask and turning back to him.

"Oh, look! It's your cousin,"

This ticked him off as he blew fire directly at Gwen, making her run around and away from him. She jumped off the balcony and swung to the floor. He shot a claw at her, sticking her to the wall so she wouldn't escape.

"Bye, girl," he said in Italian, a smirk forming on his features.

Gwen winced. "Ohh, no."

Just then, bright red webs were fired at his claws and something — someone else came flying from a red hex up on the ceiling. Gwen's eyes widened, moving her arm up over her mask as she saw the mystery figure fly down with the Vulture. Once she was able to escape, she shot to webs up in the air and flew out of her spot.

The man slowly stood up. He was like her, but different... very different. He had claws, a wristband that helped him travel to other dimensions, a red cape that was slowly fading away as he stood and his suit was blue with red going down the sides and his back.

Gwen frowned in confusion. "I'm sorry, who exactly are you supposed to be?"

"That's classified."

"You're the Blue Panther?" Gwen guessed.

"No."

"The Caped Blue-cader?"

"No, I'm..."

"Dark Garfield."

"No, stop."

"Macho Libre!"

The man turned finally turned around, revealing the front of his shot. "I'm front another dimension."

Gwen gasped with a bit of sarcasm in her tone. "You are? Wooow.... Actually, I'm not confused."

"My name.... Is Miguel O'Hara," he introduced himself.

Before he could continue his introduction, Gwen cut him off, the wristband on his arm catching her eye. "Can you go to any dimension you want with that watch?"

"It's... much cooler than a watch," Miguel stated

"Okay! Sensitive," Gwen sighed. "Look, there is a big flying turkey from the renaissance I have to bring to justice, so if you don't mind."

Just as Gwen was about to take a step forward, Miguel stopped. "It's alright, kid. I'll take it from here."

"Okay. Knock yourself out,"

─── 。゚ *..* :. ───

After the Vulture came flying through, Miguel was pulled up into the air. The police were able to break out of Gwen's web trap and entered the building and get a glimpse of the chaos.

Gwen joined Miguel up on the Vulture's back where she shot a few webs at the bird's wings to hold him back while Miguel was able to break from him. They were both standing on both wings as the Vulture flew around the room. Little did Gwen know, the collider incident she was involved in reached to other people too.

"Really having fun cleaning up your shocking, by the way," Miguel snapped.

Gwen frowned in confusion. "What mess?"

"Kingpin's collider!"

"What are you guys talking about?" Vulture inquired.

"None of your business, nosey."

"Shut up!"

Kingpin, the collider — ( Y/N ) being able to fly, she's never forgotten that night. Sometimes she wishes the collider was still active so there was a way to see Miles and the other ( Y/N ) their universe, but they had to close it. So for now, there's no way to her friends.

"We saved the multiverse!" Gwen defended.

Miguel climbed back onto the Vulture. "You left a whole wide enough for guys like him to randomly get shot into wrong dimensions. Now I'm stuck putting everybody back where they belong before all of time and space collapses."

As they swung down, Gwen and Miguel grabbed a few people up with them and carried them to safety outside. Then they ran around the building, trying to aim at the vulture.

"Don't even get me started on Doctor Strange, the little nerd and his witch girlfriend back on Earth-199999!" Miguel exclaimed.

"Witch girlfriend? I mean, mine's no witch, but she is magical in her own special way," Gwen added on as she shot two webs at George's hands. "Sorry, Captain! Can't talk right now."

Just then, the Vulture fired some bombs at them but Miguel quickly swung up at him, letting out some of his red webs and stopping them before they could explode. One was aimed towards Gwen, but she was quickly able to dodge it and ran away, swinging up with Miguel.
