When they arrived, they found the front porch of May's house decorated in candles, picture frames, balloons, cards and flowers all for Spider-Man.
Poor Peter b was nervous about the whole thing, stuffing his hands behind his pockets and trying to walk away from it. They knew his Aunt May died back in his world universe, so this was definitely gonna be awkward for him. ( Y/N ) just wondered how she'd react the the sweatpants.
Before Peter could walk away, Gwen shot a web at his back and pulled him back towards them. They watched as May slowly opened the door, gasping at the sight of Peter.
Peter gave an awkward smile. "I'm not ready for this."
May dropped the baseball bat she had in her hand and slowly drifted towards Peter.
"Peter?"
"This is gonna sound crazy, but I'm pretty sure I'm from an-"
"Alternate dimension," May cut him off.
"Yeah."
"You look tired, Peter,"
"Well, I am tired," Peter chuckled.
"And older. And thicker," May opened up his jacket. "Oh, jeez. Are those sweatpants?"
Gwen nodded. "Yeah. That's what they are."
"( Y/N ) and I were there when it all happened," Miles told her. "I am so sorry."
"And dimension are you from, Miles?" May questioned in a sarcastic tone, not having seen him in a long time.
Miles chuckled. "Brooklyn. ( Y/N ) said Peter we had a place where we could make another one of these. Did he?"
May took the key, recognizing it immediately. She shared a knowing look with ( Y/N ), who smirked. May's face suddenly turned a bit more serious, gripping onto the key.
"Follow me."

May lead them to the backyard, slamming the door opening with a bang. The group looked at her in surprise as she lead them to a tiny shed sitting in the corner by the fence.
"A little shack where I keep my spider-gear," Peter shrugged.
( Y/N ) scoffed. "Little?"
Once they got to the shed, May put the key into the lock and the shed glowed a bright light, the symbol of a spider appearing as the door, opening around it. May nodded her head towards the door, signaling them to come inside with her. The teens looked up at it in wonder, while Peter just scoffed.
May smirked at ( Y/N ). "Hey, ( Y/N ). Got any milk on you?"
"I was three!"
Miles frowned in confusion. "Milk?"
"Oh, when she was four, Peter let her hangout for a while and she spilt her bottle on one of the laptops losing everything," May replied, making ( Y/N ) wince at the memory.
"That's we were never allowed back here," Miles said in realization. "Sounds like something you'd do."
( Y/N ) nudged his arm. "Hey!"
Once the door closed, the platform pulled them down to Peter's hideout. It was covered in spider webs, holding up platforms with various spider-man equipment and merchandise. The same symbol that was on the shed door was imprinted into the red floor.
There was a wall aligned with suits that were kept in display. His desk was large, with top of the line laptops, boxes full of files and a web wall of all the criminals in Alchemax with Kingpin front and center.
Miles gasped, turning to Peter. "Dude, is your's anything like this?"
"Mine is like this, but take away the Jeep, the plane, imagine it way smaller," Peter listed. "I feel sorry for this guy."
As he got closer to the desk, he spotted a picture of Mary Jane and another one besides it; a young ( Y/N ) in a baby sling being carried by the blonde Peter, smiling trying to block the camera from him. He glanced at Mj before his eyes drifted to the one of ( Y/N ). Peter picked it up, remembering the night like it was yesterday.
Miles and ( Y/N ) we're at the suit displays, walking around until one particular suit caught ( Y/N )'s eyes. She tapped on Miles's shoulder, both of them sharing a laugh.
When they looked back to tell Peter there was a Spider-Man who wore a suit, the smiles they had on faded at the sight of him looking at one of their Peter's photos. They knew his ( Y/N ) died and he's been regretting it ever since. A smile formed on Miles's features, getting an idea.
"Hey, Peter. I think this is a cape,"
Peter chuckled as Miles sent him a nod. Gwen gave a light smile, though, a little confused on what the joke was about. As the glass door to that display closed, Miles stuffed his hands in his pockets and walked away. That was until, another suit caught his eyes, making him stop on his tracks.
Miles looked straight up the mask, looking up. His reflection a bit off-center. It was like their Peter was looking down at him, telling him i believe in you, kid. But the thing was, Miles didn't believe in himself.
"Peter knew how dangerous the job was," May told them as the group looked up at the photos of the Alchemax criminals. "But he knew the only one who could stop this guy was Spider-Man."
"Kingpin knows we're coming. We're gonna be out numbered,"
"Don't be so sure,"
They frowned in confusion as May handed out my name is stickers and markers to the spidey's. A smirk formed on ( Y/N )'s features as Peter, Miles and Gwen squinted their eyes, their spidey-senses kicking in. They all looked up at the ceiling, seeing four pairs of eyes looking down at them. One being red.
May smirked. "You thing you're the only people who thought you'd come here?"
From above, a man all in black in white, a trench coat and a hat that he tilted down at them came into view. He had the style of a detective like Sherlock Holmes or James Bond. "Hey, fellas."
"Is he in black in white?"
"Where's the wind coming from? We're in a basement,"
"Wherever I go, the wind follows," he explained in a dramatic tone. "The wind smells like rain."
( Y/N ) looked up at him with a bright smile. "I like this guy."
Another girl, one who looked slightly more... animated, with black hair and a boarding school like uniform appeared, sitting on top of a blue and red robot. "Hi, guys!" She flew down, striking a pose with her robot.
"This could literally not get any weirder," Peter sighed.
"It can get weirder," a oink echoed through ( Y/N )'s ears, making her and the other's turn around to see a walking, talking pig like person in a spider-man suit, stretching his arm out for a handshake.. a wet one. "I just washed my hands, that's why they're wet. No other reason."
They squinted their eyes once again, staring at one another with smiles on their faces, saying the word ( Y/N ) wishes she could say to someone else, "You're like me."
The new trio of spider-people gave their introductions, which were a lot more unique than the others. Turns out, the black in white guy was from the 1930s. His name is Peter Benjamin Parker ( bit on the nose ). The anime girl is Peni Parker, from a year that ( Y/N ) can't remember so don't ask. And Peter Porker is just a pig.
"Okay, enough!"
Peter stepped towards Spider-noir. "So, how did you get here?"
"Well, it's kinda a long story," there was an awkward silence. "Maybe not that long."
"Now we're just trying to find away home, Peni added as the features on her robot turned to a frown.
"The only way home is back through that collider-gizmo. The only trouble is-"
"One of us has to stay behind and destroy it," Spider-ham cut him off from behind.
Everyone raised their hand. "I'll do it."
"No, no, no. You guys don't get it,"
Peni frowned in confusion. "Don't get what?"
Just then, everyone started glitching and collapsed to the floor.
"None of you can stay here. You stay here, you'll die," Miles continued. "I'm the guy who's turn it off and I'm gonna get you all home before I do."
"I made a promise, so I have to keep it."
There was a moment of silence as everyone looked up at him with some pride. Even ( Y/N ) was a little impressed, never seeing this side of him before.
"Who are you, again?" Spider-noir asked.
"This is Miles! And he's gonna save the multiverse!" Peter stated.
"Yeah, man."
"This kid can turn himself invisible," Peter added. "Watch this! He can do it... now!"
Miles grunted, trying to blend in with the room around him, but failed and stuffed his hands in his pockets out of embarrassment. " I can't do it on command."
"He can't do it on command, but it is cool,"
"Oh! Show them the zap-thing!" ( Y/N ) suggested.
Peter b nodded. "Yeah! That thing,"
Miles tried once again, but saw no sparks coming from his hands. He sighed in defeat, letting his arms down as the others stared at him.
"Can't do it on command,"
"Can't do it on command," Peter chuckled. "But he can do so much more. Like what else can you do?"
"Just those two things-"
"-just those two things!"
"Look, I've seen him in action. He's got... potential," Gwen shrugged. "I think he's gonna get us home."
Spider-Noir shrugged, stepping towards Miles. "Okay, little fella. Kingpin's gonna sell out a mug bath and I'm talking hard-boys, real biscuit boxers. Can you fight them all off at once?"
"He is so cool!" ( Y/N ) exclaimed, staring at Spider-Noir.
Miles frowned. "Well, I-I haven't actually-"
"Surprise attack!"
Spider-Noir swung down, kicking one leg under Miles and standing back up. This caused Miles to fall to the floor with a thud. ( Y/N ) helped him, just as Peni was about to give her part of the 'training' montage.
"Can you retire a mainframe while being shot at?" Peni questioned, throwing a motherboard at him.
"Can I what-"
"Show me!" Peni demanded as Spider-Noir gave him a punch.
"Sup rides attack!"
Gwen looked down at him with a look of seriousness. "Can you swing and flip with the grace of a trained dancer?"
"Can you close off your feelings so you don't crippled by the moral empathy of your violent actions?"
( Y/N ) reached her hand up to his shoulder so she could place her hand on it. "You wanna take later?"
He sniffled. "Yes..."
"Can you help your aunt create an online dating profile so she can get out of the dang house once in a while?" May cut in.
"May, what do you think my mom's been tryna do for the past five years?"
Somehow, defining ever law of physics scientists have ever set, Peter Porker was floating through the air, smelling the delicious sent pastries. "Can you float in the air when you smell a delicious pie?"
"What?"
The questions grew and grew, making Miles more unsure of himself. But the last question, was what really pushed it over the limit. Can you get back up? Gwen pulled him up from the ground, kicking him back down. Everyone took a hit at him and encouraged him to stand up.
As hard as he tried, he still couldn't get up. The voices, yelling all at once. Even, Peter b and ( Y/N ) a were starting to think this was a bit too far. When he couldn't get up, the group of spider-people went to talk on his future.
( Y/N ) help him up as they listened in on their conversation. They were all huddled up, even the robot was in on the whole thing.
"He's not ready, it's obvious," Gwen stated in low volume. "We have to stay and do it for him."
"Looking at us when we talk about him,"
Just then, ( Y/N ) heard the elevator turn on. She turned around and saw Miles was no longer next to her. The others took notice in this and watched as Miles went back up.
"See that? He can turn invisible."
spider-noir and ( y/n )'s dynamic is gonna be so cute 😊
- see you soon, meg!
