prologue II

The entirety of all the lokas shock with the wrath of the Jagatpita. All the devas and asur were scared to wits. Narayan's anger was so loud, so thunderous, that no one couldn't concentrate on what was happening. He became a different person. His eyes had warped into a miserable black, molten anger rolling through him.
Everyone was well aware that the man in front of them was not their Jagatpita, but the husband of Mata Lakshmi. Her Hari. Her Narayan.
To seek protection from Narayan, all the Devtas and Devis travelled to Kailash, to obtain Mahadev's help. Everyone knew that only Mata Lakshmi and Mahadev were capable of calming Narayan's rage.
They couldn't bring Mata Lakshmi, so Mahadev was their only option, so here they were waiting foe Shiva to do something. Mahesh sits in his meditative state, aware of his Parvati's presence, Ganesh, as well as the presence of all the devas and devis.
"Mahadev, protect us." Chandra dev exclaims, folding his hands in front of Bholenath.
Shankara opens his eyes, worry flooding his vision as he looks down at Narayan's state. Kailashnath knew this was bound to happen. A few days before, he had received a vision. He knew that the separation of Lakshmi-Narayan was a cosmic event. One that would tempt Vishnu to take the avatar of Krishna on Bhulok.
Narayan had been urged by Mahadev to spend more quality time with Lakshmi, as they were the final few moments they had together before their separation. Bholenath was well aware of his Mitr's plight. Even he couldn't tolerate being apart from Sati.
Mahadev is very well acquainted of Narayan's devotion to Lakshmi. Without his Shree, Vishnu is incomplete. Narayan cannot exist without Lakshmi.
"Swami, do something. This roop of bhrata Narayan is even more fierce then ours." Parvati exclaims, her concerned gaze fixed on her brother.
Guilt could be detected in her voice. She had promised her Sakhi that she would look after Lakshmi's Hari, but now he was drowning further and further in his agony.
Vayudev steps forward, his hands folded in front of him. "Mahadev, even I can't control these winds today. These winds are the whirlwind of Lord Narayan's thoughts and sorrow."
"Narayan is consumed in his misery and the lose of Mata Lakshmi."
"Mata Lakshmi's departure has engulfed Narayan's mind." The Ashwini Kumars spoke in unison. They were concerned about the injured devtas and asurs, and they were also worried about Narayan.
"Narayan's wrath will cause the end of the world." Yamraja speaks, concerned for his father and Indra dev, who are on their way to appease Narayan.
Shani Dev's presence is felt in Kailash, making everyone look up. With eager strides, the Karmaphal daata walks. "Mahadev, you have to stop Narayan. He has gone on a killing spree. Even we feel the absence of our Jagatmata, but this is going to destroy everything. Pitashree and Indra dev have gone to calm Jagatpita, I fear for their lives. Help them."
Mahadev raises from his seat, nodding to Parvati, Brahma dev and Saraswati. He knew exactly what would soothe his best friend's pain. Mahadev lifts his trident, and disappears into thin air.

A beautiful white mountain is shown, with Bholenath climbing the rocky path like it was nothing. Onshore winds mounted the mountain sides until the air became cool enough for the vapour to condense into rain. It was always white on the mountain top, the rocky peak.
The land was blanketed with snow, like a comforting blanket covering a cold body. Bholenath places his foot on the icy floor and walks towards a trail of red footsteps.
Kailashnath beams when he sees his sister's imprints. Mahadev picks up a block of snow with footprints on it while kneeling on one of his knees.
Mahadev leaps from the mountain's peak beside Nandi, his dedicated devotee. Mahadev leaves on Nandi to meet with his dear friend.

Narayan's heart raced as he inhaled deeply, as if he was about to burst. He cracked his knuckles as his muscles tensed. His body temperature began to rise, and he felt his blood begins to boil. A vein in his neck sprang out, and he killed everything in his path.
With his Sudarshan Chakra resting on his fingers, Vishnu searched every corner of the Universe for his Lakshmi. Anything or anybody who came into his line of vision was annihilated.
He couldn't stand the thought of being separated from Shree. She was his entire world, and now all he had were memories of her. Worse, he had to wait millions of years only to meet his beloved.
Dwapar yug was millions of years away. Treta yug was not over yet and would last for a long time. Until then, all Narayan had left were their memories together.
A few asurs caught the eye of Narayan. His anger fueled and his steps shock the Loka. His mind couldn't think straight, all Vishnu wanted was his Lakshmi with him.
Just as Narayan is about to release the Sudarshan Chakra from his finger, hands clasp around his legs. With the fire from the pits of hell in his eyes, Narayan glares down at Suryadev, and Indra dev.
"Narayan, I know that you love Devi Lakshmi immensely. But if you don't stop now, then the universe will be destroyed." Indra dev pleads in front of the Supreme Lord, while Suryadev kneels beside him.
Narayan shakes his head, his gada clenched in one palm, the Sudarshan Chakra still rotating around his other finger. "I want my Priye with me. Today, neither you Indradev, or you Suryadev can stop me from fulfilling my duty as a husband."
Suryadev gulps, before folding his hands and summoning the confidence to look Narayan in the eyes. "Ordinary humans lose their temper during crisis. But you are the Palanhar, who is above all bonds, who is now about to do something disastrous. We are begging you, Jagatpita."
"The title of the Supreme lord is not greater than being a husband. Today, when a husband has lost his wife, he is no longer a lord. He is not God." Narayan answers, his voice wavering with unspoken emotion of agony.
Narayan takes a deep breath, his face was ravaging with rage. "If I don't have my Priye by my side, then I'll destroy everything. Destroy the world that took my priye from me."
Suryadev and Indradev deviate significantly from Narayan, well aware that he will not back down this time. Standing in front of them right now, Narayan was in a stormy temper and would easily burn the two alive.
Hari aims to strike both Suryadev and Indradev with his Sudarshan Chakra. His footsteps stomp on the earth, upsetting the world's stability. A voice stops his gada, which is soaring high in the air, ready to attack the devs.
"Mitr."
Mahadeva strides over to his friend. He knew exactly what needed to be done. Mahadev slams his trishul against the ground, firmly defending his position.
"Move from my path, Mitr. Today, I will not spare anything." Despite the fact that Narayan's face is etched with fury, his remarks are devoid of malice toward his friend.
Mahadev gives his friend a weak smile as he notices his mitr's eyes welling up with tears. Suryadev and Indradev flee to Kailash after receiving a hidden sign from Mahadev.
"Behen Lakshmi is gone, Mitr. She is waiting for you to take the first step towards your reunion."
Vishnu feels his fury trap itself inside a cage when Mahadev rests a hand on Narayan's shoulder, but it does not diminish. Mahadev decides to continue, despite Narayan's condition.
"The Truth is always bitter, but it is always for the better. For the welfare of the universe, as its Jagatpita, you must endure this bitter truth forever, Mitr.
You too have to experience the emotions and laws that you created for mankind. Whether it is love or sacrifice. The pleasure of uniting or the pain of separating.
In order to explain the meaning of these emotions, and to teach them. Their gods will have to go through such test. They must experience that pain."
Vishnu was able to decipher every word that came out of his friend's mouth. A block of snow presents itself in Mahadev's hands with an outline of red footprints. "You couldn't even distinguish the footprint of behen Lakshmi in your outrage."
As water washes over Narayan and Mahadev's feet, the imprints float off Bholenath's hands, landing on top of the water, that has now created a small lake around. The footprint begins to shine, and an amber glow surrounds it. Under the imprints, a lotus soon blooms.
The two balls of divine light form a ring around the footprints, before soaring into the air. The divine light balls whirl in circles, forming a woman's shape.
Mahadev and Narayan marvel as the heavenly light dims, allowing them to see Lakshmi for the first time. With a calm smile on her face, the Jagatmata stands.
As he watches his priye emerge in front of him, Narayan's eyes fill with affection. He inhales deeply, her fragrance washing away his rage into serenity. The ferocious Jagatpita's fury melted in seconds after one look at her.
Within minutes, Vishnu's Sudarshan Chakra and Kaumodaki Gada vanish without a trace. As they witness Narayan calm down, the devtas and devis are pleased. And he has a melancholy expression on his face.
Narayan grips Lakshmi's hands and clutches them tightly in his own, fearful that she will vanish again. Lakshmi grazes Hari's cheeks with her thumbs, gently soothing him.
"Arya, anger doesn't suit you at all. Only a smile looks attractive on your face. Now, rid yourself of your anger and prepare for our reunion. You have to take your first step, so we can be together again."
Chanchala draws away from Hari as she speaks. Her body starting to fade away gradually. As she fades, a soothing smile remains on her face, offering strength to her Narayan.
The once beautifully blossomed Lotus begins to wither away. The last time Narayan was to see Lakshmi before they took form in their incarnation on Bhulok.
His whole world had stopped when he laid eyes on his Chanchala again. Narayan instantly tries to grasp the lotus open, but it sinks into the water. "Priye!" Narayan impatiently calls out for his love.
"Behen Lakshmi exists in everything, in the universe, Mitr. She is omnipresent. If she is in the ocean, she is in the galaxies too. If she is in living beings, she is on the mountains and in the air as well." Mahadev embraces Narayan in a brotherly hug.
Narayan, whose anger has now fully cooled off, sheepishly smiles at his best friend. "Thank you, for reminding me of my duties, giving me a chance to meet my Priye. I got enraged for no reason and wished to cause destruction. If not for you-"
"We are Mitr. It is our duty that if one of us is weakened, the other is to take care of him. Now let's start the preparations for your and behen Lakshmi's reunion." Mahadev interrupts Narayan's words halfway.

Narayan gracefully strides into the beautiful garden that his Chanchala and he spent quality time together. It was designed by keeping Narayani's wishes, likes and dislikes.
On a moonlit night, the garden is incredibly magnificent. In the evening, there are many beautiful birds perched in the trees, singing their melodious songs. The aroma of the flowers fills the air with a beautiful charm in the morning.
The garden provided both Lakshmi-Narayan with solace, lit by diyas and the moonlight at night. Each flower in the garden represented a message, the couple wanted to convey.
Pastel Carnations representing their pure love. Daisies representing Lakshmi's innocence and cheerfulness. Camellias representing faithfulness towards each other.
Alstroemeria representing devotion to each other. White Lilac representing Lakshmi's purity. Roses representing their everlasting love. And other hundreds of beautiful flowers, each with a beautiful meaning.
But the garden was mostly flooded with Jasmine and Lotus flowers. A beautiful river flowing through the garden from the mountains, leading to a magnificent waterfall, surrounded by trees.
Narayan smiles as he approaches a lovely flower-filled swing. Despite the fact that the flowers had a lovely scent, all Narayan could smell was his Lakshmi's charming and sweet scent.
The swing was mostly used by Lakshmi and Narayan to relax after chasing each other or to see the sunrise or set with their own eyes. A spot where Narayan rested his head in the lap of his Shree. Where Lakshmi sat when upset at her Hari.
Even though the Garden was absolutely heavenly, for Narayan, it was Lakshmi that made this place even beautiful, with just her presence. Her presence in this garden is what he loved the most about this place.
"Arya?" The hair on the back of Narayan's neck stands on end, his heart thumping. Anywhere in this Universe, he would recognise this voice.
Narayan's breath shortens as he watches his Shree light a Diya, looking as beautiful as she does. Her veil flying in the air, with a gentle breeze blowing. Simplicity was present in her floral jewellery and her iconic red saree. The flowers seem to be a reflection of her beauty.
Narayan's feet carry him to his priye without his realising it. When Lakshmi looks at him, Narayan's face is lit up with a smile.
"Priye, aap yahan?" Narayan kneels down, taking a seat beside his wife. [What are you doing here, Priye?]
Lakshmi glances from the oil lamp, stroking Vishnu's cheeks with the pads of her fingers. "Jahan mere Narayan hai, wahan unki Lakshmi."
[Wherever my Narayan is, his Lakshmi is there.]
As Lakshmi speaks, Vishnu cracks a smile. She was always able to calm him down. A lock of hair caresses Chanchala's cheeks, disturbing his priye. Narayan moves forward, reaching up to pull a strand of her hair away from her face.
Before Narayan could touch Shree's cheeks, she vanishes in front of his eyes. Narayan sighs, knowing his Priye wasn't with him, but how could he explain it to the husband inside him?
A gorgeous gazebo appears in Narayan's field of vision. Resting on a lake's edge, surrounded by lilies and lotuses. The gazebo was surrounded by exquisite flowers and encircled by lush trees.
The gazebo, which was adorned by diyas, was enormous on the inside, with a large bed, jasmine flowers layered across the sheets. Narayan and Lakshmi had spent intimate evenings and romantic moments together in this very gazebo.
Narayan sits down comfortably on the bed, his hands caressing the jasmine petals. All he could think about were the times he and Chanchala had spent together in this room.
A memory plays in Narayan's mind. Vishnu reclines back on the bed, Jasmine petals brushing against Narayan's body, reminding him of his Ambuja's touch and warmth.

The garden is a vibrant display of beauty, filled with colorful flowers and lush greenery. The fragrant breeze carries the sweet scent of blooming flowers and the melodious chirping of birds.
Narayan, the supreme deity, and the preserver of the universes, is seated on the ground, where the lake is in hands reach. His divine aura radiates calmness and serenity, creating an ambiance of tranquility.
Narayani, the divine consort of Lord Vishnu, sits beside her husband, clad in a resplendent sari, her hair adorned with fresh flowers. She gazes at the peaceful scenery before her, the gentle rustle of leaves adding to the serene atmosphere.
Chanchala smiles at Narayan, her eyes twinkling with joy. She reaches out to pluck a lotus flower from the pond, and places it behind her ear. The fragrance of the flower fills the air around them, and Narayan can't help but admire her beauty.
"Your beauty surprises me everyday, my priye Chanchala," he says, taking her hand in his. "The color of your saree is like the most precious of rubies, and your eyes sparkle like the stars."
Chanchala blushes at the compliment, but her heart swells with happiness. She has been married to Narayan for eons, but his love for her never fades. She looks at him with adoration, feeling grateful for his presence in her life.
"It's all thanks to you, Narayan," she replies, leaning her head on his shoulder. "Your love has made me shine like the billion sun."
Narayan wraps his arm around her, pulling her closer. "And you are my sun, Chanchala. You light up my world with your smile and your love. I am blessed to have you as my wife."
They sit in silence for a while, enjoying the beauty of their surroundings and each other's company. The breeze carries the sound of music from the celestial abodes, and the birds chirp happily in the trees.
· · ─────── · ॐ· ─────── · ·
Mahadev and Parvati appear in front of Narayan, followed closely by Ganesh. They observe as a red tint graces Vishnu's cheeks, while he sits, clearly in the memories.
Ganesh approaches his mamashree, faking up a frown on his face. "Mamashree, look na, Maa Chanchala didn't even make me any modak before she left. How can she? She knows how much I love modaks made by her."
Ganesh's words make Narayan laugh. Ganesh has been cherished by Lakshmi as if he were her own son, always protecting him from Parvati's scolding and bringing him sweets without Gauri's knowledge.
Mahadev and Parvati chuckle, when Narayan draws Ganesh in an embrace. "Don't worry Ganesh, she left after making your modak."
A plate of modak land in Gauri's hands, and Ganesh's mouth waters at the smell of his Maa Lakshmi's modak. He could smell maa Chanchala's food from miles away. Parvati lovingly pats Ganesh's head, before feeding him a modak.
"Mata, if Maa Chanchala would have fed me, then these modaks would have been even more tastier."
Mahadev and Narayan watch from the side, the mother-son duo spends bonding time together. Sensing Narayan's forlorn expression and restless feeling, Bholenath pats Vishnu on the back, attempting to calm the storm inside him.
"Don't worry mitr, we'll keep behen Lakshmi safe and look after her, Narayan." Mahadev says, his protection would always be over his sister.
"Let's begin the process of my incarnation on Bhulok, Mitr. After all, I can't keep my Shree waiting for much long."
