You had time to decide. Just then, Nina took you right back to where you were and before leaving, she passed you a business card with her phone number on it.
«I'll wait for your call, Y/n.»
You just watched her disappear behind the smoke of her black car, before reading what was written on the card:
NINA WILLIAMS
Tekken Force
Your thoughts became more and more confused, who really was this woman and what was the Tekken Force now? Things got complicated and apparently, you were wondering if you were capable of performing such a task.
«Y/n!!» Suddenly, Ling's voice brought you back to the vicinity of the club, where your friend was hurrying up to you «Where were you, I looked everywhere for you!»
You hid Nina's card in your jacket pocket.
«I just took a walk outta here. Sorry if I made you worry.» For her safety, it was better that you didn't tell anything about that meeting «And you? I hope you didn't go overboard with that crap–»
«Of course noot~ anyway, I was having a nice time when an asshole offended me! But don't worry, I rocked him very well hehe.»
You knew Ling Xiaoyu wasn't that kind of girl, but her impulsiveness often got her into trouble, including you sometimes...
And that's why when you saw a group of men rushing out of the club, you grabbed her arm to run in the direction of your bike.
«Heeeyyy what–»
«Just run, dammit!» You interrupted her as you were handing her the helmet.
«Stop those bitches!» One of them yelled at the rest of the group, as you hit the gas to escape; you went through some road crossings, in case they were following you but fortunately, no vehicles were nearby.
«Hell you need to stop getting into trouble...» You shook your head to free your hair from the helmet «What will you do when you meet the wrong person?»
On the contrary, the chinese girl didn't seem worried at all.
«Of course, I'll beat them too!»
You rolled your eyes at that, not really believing she was capable of killing someone - she hadn't done it yet, but you were hoping you weren't there for the umpteenth time to save her ass.
After that, you drove her to her house. But instead of walking away, Ling just looked at you thoughtfully.
«You look weird Y/n, is something wrong?» Your silence was suspicious to her «I smelled something on you earlier. You've never worn it.»
No doubts, she was referring to the smell of Nina's car but you shook your head, saying you had bumped into someone who had that strong perfume inside the club; Ling nodded, pretending to believe your words and when you left, the black-haired girl hadn't stopped thinking about what you had put inside your pocket and who gave it to you.

The next day was like any other. Once you woke up, you got ready for work. As you were eating breakfast, you took another look at the card before writing the number on your phone.
You took a deep breath before pressing the green icon. You were still hesitant, of course, and whatever the woman had to tell you, it made you very upset.
«I knew you would contact me soon, Y/n.» Nina's voice hit your ear like a bullet and your heart started pounding «Tell me then...what's your decision?»
«Before that, I want to know what awaits me.» You said and the silence on the other side suggested that you could continue «I mean, it's impossible for me to get in touch–»
«In your current conditions, maybe yes. But we can fix that, if we want to bring you closer to Kazuya Mishima...» Again, Nina left you in a sea of doubts and further questions. You didn't have much time for that.
«I don't understand. What do you mean...?»
There, the blonde gave a long, amusing smile that you couldn't catch.
«...that means, you have to mislead him.»
A lump formed in your throat, preventing you from speaking as your hand clenched into a sweaty fist. You burst out laughing nervously, thinking it was a bad joke, but Nina said nothing.
«Me?! Mislead him?! You can't be serious...» You limited yourself to saying, avoiding attracting prying eyes from customers and also your colleagues «I'll never be able to do that–»
«Still, I thought you could do it.» The woman answered leaving you speechless «But maybe I was wrong. You don't have the courage to avenge your parents' death...»
Despite that, Nina didn't immediately hang up and waited for any reaction from you. And for you, there was nothing else more important than executing the culprit and if you could do it, the better.
«...I will. But under certain conditions.»
This time, it was Nina raising her eyebrows curiously, crossing her legs for a more comfortable position, you were quite stubborn and she liked that.
«First, I want my identity to be protected. Nobody has to know who I really am...» You started speaking in a low tone «And second, I want compensation, don't think I'm going to do all this for free.»
«Naturally. You'll have more than you imagine, if you do it right.» The woman's voice answered you with the usual absolute calm, as if there was nothing that could move her «And as for the other thing, I've already thought about giving you a new ID. From now on, you'll be covered under the name of "Reira Lilai".»
You swallowed at the idea of the trouble you were getting yourself into, but hearing that your terms had been approved reassured you a little. Later, Nina warned you that a package would arrive at your home address with everything you needed for the operation.
«Wait for my next call to get started. Good luck, Y/n.»
Those were her last words before hanging up the call and you set the phone down on the table to rub your eyes from the stress...who would ever want to catch the attention of such a horrible man, now you could understand why it wasn't an easy thing.
«Wait, does that mean I have to...I hope not!»
Your frustrations changed face when you started working. But it wasn't enough to keep thinking about it and when the afternoon came, you took your motorbike to reach the Millennium Tower alone; after all this time, you couldn't believe your enemy had always been hiding so close to you...
«So, this is where that Kazuya stays...it's a big palace.»
You said to yourself as you looked up at the skyscraper, which reflected the city behind you. Of course, there was no way to get in there and most likely, it was heavily guarded by those armed men.
Maybe, you would have the opportunity later and thanks to the same owner...
You were about to leave when you saw a black car pull up just in front of the entrance. It wasn't the same one you went up to last night, definitely this one was more luxurious and you wondered who was sitting inside...
«Oh no. Don't tell me...»
You started the bike, without ceasing to look at that car and in your haste, you threw yourself on the road when suddenly something came towards you from the intersection, forcing you to skid and slide on the ground to avoid impact. You weren't hurt, luckily, but you were annoyed to have your bike ruined.
«What the—!»
Next to you, you saw the lights on of another black car, which had stopped abruptly. The strange thing was, that no one had come out to check everything was okay and you took that really badly.
«Hey! Are you blind or what?!» You yelled at it, unable to see on the other side of the dark glass, until the driver repeatedly honked at you to prompt you to move away.
You should have done that. Instead, you didn't accept their rudeness and without thinking further, you kicked straight at the bumper, leaving a clear mark on the shiny car.
«Take this, you assholes!»
After that, you turned around to retrieve your bike, but didn't notice the gun pointed at you out the window...
Not even the low voice coming from the car.
«Don't shoot.»
The man in black did as he was told and retracted the gun, letting you go, as the driver continued towards the building temporarily ignoring the damage you had caused to the car.
«What do we do with the girl, sir?» He asked later to the man in the back, looking at him in the mirror «Should we track her down?»
An amused chuckle escaped from the other's mouth, as he lifted an elbow to prop himself up with his well-shaved chin.
«That won't be necessary.»
His red eye hadn't stopped following your figure until it disappeared, something told him it wouldn't be the first and last time.

You were still in a cold sweat. You should never have done such a thing, just a crazy could have kicked an expensive car like that and most likely, it belonged to the most dangerous man in the country; but you didn't care anymore, not now that you were about to try to kill him and for this, you had to show yourself ready.
That's why you took the phone and with your finger, you scrolled through your contacts, looking for two friends in particular...
You pressed on first.
«It's me, I had some problems with the bike, could you take a look at it tomorrow?» You explained the situation without going into detail for the moment, otherwise he would have bored you to exhaustion.
«I see. Thank you Hwoarang.»
After him, the second one was immediately Ling and with all honesty, your sudden request would have sounded weird to her, but you needed it if you didn't want to fall at Kazuya Mishima's feet without first laying a finger on him...
«Hey, what time do you go to the gym tomorrow?»
Or a punch, to be more precise. Plus, your legs were still sore from earlier.
