๐๐๐๐๐ง๐ข๐ฃ ๐ช๐๐ฆ ๐ ๐๐ฅ๐๐๐ง ๐ฃ๐๐๐๐. Ivy was grateful that Maggie would be raising her child in this atmosphere. The people were great, it was safe, and there was a lot of crops. Ivy approved of the placeโ but one thing she didn't approve of was Gregory. She didn't like him. Not one bit.
When Maggie introduced Enid and Ivy to Gregory, she introduced them as her daughters. Gregory was quick with a response and said something about how they didn't need anymore Margrets running around Hilltop.
Safe to say, Ivy did NOT like Gregory.
Ivy and Enid were glad they remembered to pack clothes. Maggie was living in Jesus' clothes and trailer, so at least the girls had their own clothes.
Ivy slipped on her grey button up shirt over her tight black tank top. Her blue boot cut jeans fell over her worn out black boots.
Enid carefully cut the vegetables at a smaller table, and Maggie sat at the dining table, eating a cucumber.
Ivy sat next to Maggie. Maggie extended her arm, offering the cucumber to Ivy. Ivy grabbed the cucumber, took a bite and gave it back. "Thanks." Ivy smiled. Maggie nodded.
The door opened, and Maggie turned extremely quick. Sasha walked in with a plate of something covered with a cloth.
"Is that an apple pie?" Maggie asked, mouth still full with a piece of cucumber. Sasha's mouth gaped and her eyebrows shot up. Sasha flipped the cloth over as Maggie stood up, revealing the apple pie. Ivy and Enids jaw dropped as they began to laugh.
"Uh. How did you do that?" Sasha inquired as Maggie grabbed the pie.
"I could smell it from outside the door." Maggie answered. Ivy giggled as Maggie sat down. Maggie smiled at the girl.
Enid grinned and looked to Sasha. "You baked it?" Enid asked. Sasha shook her head no.
"Some guy gave it to us for what we did." Sasha replied. Ivy's mouth watered at the sight of the tasty treat. "His little girl said you should run for President of Hilltop."
"Maggie for President." Enid stated. Maggie stood up and grabbed utensils.
"I'll make shirts!" Ivy exclaimed. Enid chuckled before turning her attention to Maggie. "Uh, Mags? Do you need a plate?"
Maggie shook her head. "No, I'm good." Maggie answered. Ivy looked over at Maggie, eyes begging for a bite. Maggie held up a piece of pie, and Ivy opened her mouth. Ivy bite down at the piece, and moaned when the taste kicked in.
"Oh my god." Ivy groaned. She threw her head back and sighed. "That's delicious." Maggie nodded before turning to Sasha. Sasha sat on the couch with two knives.
"Did Jesus give you those?" Maggie asked. Sasha looked up and nodded. "Is he still around? There's some things I want to add to his list before he goes out. The kids need something to write withโ pens, pencils."
Ivy smirked. "President Maggie is real, y'all." Maggie laughed at the girls words.
"I've just been talking to people." Maggie shrugged.
"Jesus left this morning." Sasha answered. "He told me to tell you, but I forgot." Ivy looked over at Enid with a confused look, wondering if she was thinking the same way.
Maggie nodded. "Okay. Next time." Maggie said, taking a bite of apple pie. She stood up and wiped her hands. "I'm gonna get some milk." Sasha stood up as well.
"Let me." Sasha offered.
Maggie walked to the door. "No, I'm good." Maggie insisted and walked out. She closed the door, Ivy and Enid instantly looking at Sasha.
"What?" Sasha inquired.
Ivy stood up. "You're lying to Maggie about Jesus." Ivy stated. Sasha furrowed her eyebrows and walked back to the couch.
"What makes you say that?" Sasha asked.
"A girl who lives in this house." Enid spoke. "She was telling us about everyone. She said Jesus is a runner and that he left yesterday, not this morning." Ivy stood next to Enid, both girls had their arms crossed.
"It's for her own good." Sasha sighed. Enid let out a quick 'why?'. "Because I need to do something, and she'll want to help me."
Ivy sighed. "You want to kill Negan." Ivy stepped forward. "What if you have help?"
Sasha stepped closer to Ivy. "If we had helpโ a lot of peopleโ then I wouldn't be afraid to tell her, because she'd know it wasn't on her to do it. But if it's just me, thenโ"
Enid was quick to cut her off. "It isn't just you. You and Maggie aren't the only ones who want to take Negan out. There'sโ" Enid tried to explain.
"No, girls." Sasha stopped her. "That's not happening. And if you care about her, you don't say anything about this." Ivy sighed at the girls words. "We have to keep her safe. You have to keep her safe."
"It isn't just you." Ivy spoke as she leaned against the kitchen table. Sasha turned around and laughed.
"It sure looks like it."
Ivy sighed as she looked at Enid. Ivy hated lying to Maggie, but, if it was going to keep her safe, she was willing to do it.
๐๐ฉ๐ฌ ๐ช๐ฅ๐๐ฃ๐ฃ๐๐ ๐ง๐๐ ๐๐๐๐ก๐๐๐ง tightly around her body as the cold air drifted through the night. She looked down at her newly inherited pocket watch, seeing the time was one A.M. Ivy sighed as she placed the pocket watch back in her pocket.
She clicked on her flashlight, shining it on Glenn and Abrahams grave. She sat on her knees and bit her lip. She placed the flashlight down, but it still shined on the graves.
"I'm sorry I haven't came and talked to you guys." Ivy whispered. She watched as the balloons swayed gently due to the wind. "I don't know what to do anymore. I just faked my god damn death along with Maggie. Carl went on some suicide mission. And, I... I'm lying to Maggie."
Ivy sighed as she shivered. "I miss you guys so much." Ivy muttered. "Abe, I wish you were here. You were so strong. You could've taken down Negan with one hand."
"And, Glenn..." Ivy trailed. "I wish you were here to see your baby grow. I miss you so much."
Ivy closed her eyes for a few moments. When she opened them, she scoffed. "Jesus christ, I'm talking to graves right now." Ivy rubbed her eyes. "I'm going insane."
"No, you're not." Ivy whipped her head and saw Enid standing there. Enid sat down besides her and rested her head on Ivy's shoulder. "I talk to my parents every night before I go to bed."
Ivy frowned at the girl. "Enid..." Ivy tilted her head. Enid shook her head and stood up. She held a hand out for Ivy.
"C'mon." Enid said. "It's freezing, and it's late. Lets go." Ivy kissed her hand and placed it on Glenn and Abrahams graves. Ivy then grabbed Enids hand, regaining her balance.
Ivy looked into Enids eyes. "I love you, E." Enid hugged the girl.
"I love you, too, V."
