โ๐——๐—”๐—ฅ๐—ฌ๐—Ÿ, for the love of god, please shower." Ivy sighed as she sat next to Daryl. He sat quietly on the porch for most of the morning, and Ivy just recently decided to join him.

"Mind ya' business." Daryl spat. Ivy rolled her eyes and stood up.

"One day, while you're sleeping, i'm gonna drag you out of bed and leave you outside. I might even draw a penis on your forehead." Ivy explained.

"Bite me." Daryl scoffed.

"Maybe I can be like Rick." Daryl looked up at Ivy with a gaped mouth. Ivy tried not to laugh and Daryl shook his head.

"You're unhinged." Daryl joked.

"I know, it keeps me awake at night." Ivy turned on her heel and noticed most of the group was now outside.

Ivy felt a hand tap her shoulder. Ivy turned to see Carl standing there with Judith.

"Wanna go for a walk?" Carl asked. Ivy nodded her head yes and grabbed his hand. "I just have to put Judith in her stroller."

"Ok." Ivy smiled.

They began their walk through Alexandria. They looked at all the houses and all the people. There was people with their dogs, people with their kids. It was all very heart warming.

"Oh my! Bob, get out here!" An old lady yelled. Ivy and Carl snapped their heads out of instinct and saw a woman and her husband out on their porch. "Aw shes so gorgeous."

Ivy and Carl brought Judith over to the couple and started a conversation with them.

Rick and Jessie were watching from afar.

"That's Natalie and Bob Miller. They had five kids and 12 grandkids." Jessie stated. "It's been a long time since anyone around here has seen a baby. She's gonna have to put up with some pinched cheeks."

"Thanks, I just uhโ€”"

"It's okay. I get it." Jessie smiled.

"Look, I'm sorry I broke whatever that was I broke." Rick apologized.

"It's a sculpture I'm making with the boys. It's an owl. I mean, it will be. I just can't get the eyes right." Jessie explained.

"Right, the eyes." Rick tried to relate, but the only eyes he needed to worry about was the eyes of the enemies.

"You didn't even get a good look at it." Jessie laughed.

"I was in the middle of losing my mind. Thank you." Rick said.

"You're welcome." Jessie nodded before Rick started to walk away. "Hey, Rick. Would it be okay if Carl and Ivy came over now? Ron really wants to meet them."

Rick nodded and walked towards the kids.

โ๐—ช๐—˜๐—ฅ๐—˜ ๐—”๐—Ÿ๐— ๐—ข๐—ฆ๐—ง always here after school, so you can come by anytime." Ron explained. The three walked through Ron's house and up into his room.

"You go to school?" Carl asked.

"Uh, it's in a garage." Ron laughed. "Little kids go in the morning, and then it's us in the afternoon. Probably you guys, too, right?"

"Yeah." Ivy spoke. They reached his room and Ivy felt a weird feeling.

Ivy looked at the bed and saw a girl sitting on it. The pretty girl that was in the abandoned house. Ivy mentally thanked godโ€” at least she wasn't hallucinating. Ivy didn't know why she felt so weird in that moment, but it was only when she looked at the girl.

"Guys, this is Carl and Ivy." Ron announced. "Carl, Ivy, this is Mikey and Enid."

Enid. Pretty name for a pretty girl.

Enid didn't look up once from the comic book in front of her. Ivy thought that maybe Enid was the noise she heard in the extra room.

Mikey stood up. "Hey." Mikey greeted.

"Hi." Enid sighed. She sounded annoyed. For some reason, Ivy couldn't keep her eyes off of an Enid. It was weird, and totally creepy, but something about Enid was so alluring. Carl picked up on Ivy's fascination with the girl, but just thought it was due to the fact that Enid was a girl her age.

"Enid's from outside, too." Ron put his hand on Enids shoulder. "She just came eight months ago."

Enid looked either weirded out by Ron touching her, or she just wasn't used to it. Ivy couldn't tell.

"Oh, um." Ivy reached into her back pocket of her jeans. She pulled out the comic. Ivy pushed it towards Enid. "Is this yours?"

Enid grabbed it from her hand and Ivy was a bit taken aback by it.

"Sorry, we didn't know you guys got that house." Ron laughed.

"We mostly just hang out there and listen to music." Mikey spoke. "That's actually really funnyโ€” people always think the comics are mine or Rons, not Enids. How'd you know?"

"I'm literally reading a comic right here." Enid spat at Mikey. Ivy bit her cheek to try and stop herself from laughing.

"Want to play some video games?" Ron asked Carl. "Ivy, you can play with us too. Or you can just hang with Enid."

Ivy and Carl were hesitant to answer. Carl finally answered to Ron and they started playing video games. But Ivy sat there, obviously overwhelmed with the situation. Ron noticed Ivy standing there frozen.

"Sorry, I guess we come on a little too strong. We can just hang out."

Enid looked over at Ivy finally. Enids eyes softened for some reason, something Ron and Mikey weren't used too.

Enid took in Ivy's beauty. Ivy had beautiful doe eyes, and her long brunette hair was tied into a side braid. She wore a slightly cropped baggy black shirt, along with a pair of tan cargo pants and her(maggie's) black boots. Ivy had a flannel on top of it. It was obviously someone else's because it was a bit too big.

Enid snapped out of her thoughts and returned to her comic.

"You don't even have to talk if you don't want to." Mikey injected.

"Yeah, took Enid three weeks to say something." Ron said.

"Pull it together, sport." Enid muttered. Ivy looked to Carl with wide eyes. Carl shook his head no, and Ivy obeyed. Carl knew she was going to say something unbelievably rude, but she contained herself.

"You can, um, sit next to Enid if that's ok with you." Ron said. Ivy nodded and sat on the other side of Enid.

Enid didn't look up from her comic. She just ignored Ivy's existence completely, so Ivy did the same.

Ivy watched happily as Carl smiled and laughed with the boys. It made her happy to see him happy.

Ivy grew awkward as she just sat there in silence. It was so weird to sit on a bed in a room filled with posters and video games.

Ivy tried to think of an excuse so that she could leave. All she could think about was how Beth would've loved this place.

"Um, I should get going." Ivy spoke. Carl quickly stopped playing the video game and looked to his girlfriend.

"Why?" Carl asked. "You ok?"

"Yeah. I'm fine. I appreciate you guys for letting me hang, but I told Maggie I'd meet her around this time." Ivy explained. She didn't even know what time it was.

"You're always free to come over whenever." Ron smiled. Ivy smiled back and waved to the group.

"Bye babe." Carl said. "I'll be home soon."

"Ok." Ivy spoke lowly before walking out. The second Ivy was out of the house, Mikey and Ron started laughing.

"What?" Carl asked defensively. The boys stopped laughing. Enid looked up in confusion.

"You guys sound like a married couple." Mikey commented. "Enid, Ron, back me up on this." Ron nodded in agreement and then looked to Enid.

"Yeah. I agree. But it sounds like she wants a divorce." Enid muttered, not looking up from her comic. Carl furrowed his eyebrows together in confusion.

"What do you mean?" Carl inquired. Enid sighed and put her comic down.

"You called her babe and said bye. Her reaction to that was literally "Ok."." Enid explained.

"So?" Mikey and Ron both become invested in their conversation.

"So, you aren't the only man in her life anymore. Before you know it, she's gonna leave you. Better to prepare yourself now." Enid shrugged. Carl scoffed.

"Enid." Ron scolded. Enid rolled her eyes and picked up her comic again.

"Whatever." Enid spat.

Carl and the boys continued to play video games for a bit longer. Carl was having fun, but all he could think about Enid's words.

What if she was right? What if Ivy did want to leave him.

๐—œ๐—ฉ๐—ฌ ๐—”๐—ก๐—— ๐—–๐—”๐—ฅ๐—Ÿ found their way back to each other sooner or later. After he had left Ron's house, he was quick to home. Carl ran into his house and up the stairs.

Ivy sat on Carls bed, wrapped in one of his flannels. She was reading a new romance book that Deanna had gave her.

Ivys reading was cut short when someone bursted through the door. Ivys head snapped towards the door. When she saw it was just Carl, she relaxed.

"Hey love." Ivy put down her book and sat up on her knees. She kissed his lips and laid back down. "Sorry for leaving. I just got a little overwhelmed."

"It's fine." Carl muttered as he laid down next to her. Ivy looked over to her boyfriend and grabbed his hand.

"Is everything ok?" Ivy asked as she nuzzled into Carls neck. Carl wrapped his arm around Ivy's waist and held her close.

"Are you gonna leave me?" Carl asked. Ivy looked up at Carl with saddened eyes.

"No. Not a chance. Why would you even ask that?" Ivy inquired. Carl sighed hesitantly before speaking.

"Enid saidโ€”"

"I'm gonna fucking kill her." Ivy spat. Carl laughed slightly. "Sorry. What did she say?"

"She said that since i'm not the only man in your life anymore, you're gonna leave me. I'm scared you're gonna find someone new or better. Maybe Ron, or Mikey." Carl explained.

"You are the only man in my life." Ivy smiled. "You are the best thing that has happened to me. I love you so much. More than anything."

"I love you too. I'm just worried. Like, Ron is ten times more attractive than meโ€”" Ivy cut Carl off by kissing him.

"You are literally the only man ever. You are the most attractive man I've ever seen, and I'll worship you till the day we die." Ivy pampered his face with kisses to his cheeks, nose, and forehead.

"I'm gonna marry you someday." Carl hummed.

"We've literally been dating for like a week, calm yourself." Ivy laughed. Carl pulled her into a spooning position, Ivy being the little spoon.

"Well, you said I'm the only man ever, so that just means we have to get married." Carl buried his face into Ivy's neck. "After a couple years of dating, I'm gonna go on a run and i'm gonna find you a nice ring. Then, I'm gonna propose to you, then, you'll be officially mine."

"I'm officially yours already."
