๐— ๐—”๐—š๐—š๐—œ๐—˜, ๐—š๐—Ÿ๐—˜๐—ก๐—ก, Tara, Rosita, Abraham, and Eugene left for Washington. It was hard for Ivy to part with Maggie and Glenn, but she knew she was going to see them soon.

Ivy had been quiet for the remainder of the day. Bobs words stuck with her.

'Make a move'

Ivy didn't think it was appropriate to go and make a move after the group had just lost Bob, but it was his dying wish.

The sun has set a bit ago, and darkness casted over the church. Michonne had been outside for a bit, and the rest of the group huddled inside.

Ivy and Carl stayed together, holding hands. They didn't need to say much, they just needed each other.

"Michonnes been out there for a bit." Carl noted. Ivy looked over at the anxious boy.

"It's ok. She just needs some time for herself." Ivy smiled sweetly. Carl couldn't help but smile when he saw Ivy smile.

Ivy and Carl whipped their head to the church door once they heard it open.

It revealed Michonne with an indescribable look on her face. Michonne looked over at Ivy and smiled lightly. Ivy stood up in confusion.

Michonne moved out of the way.

Right behind her was Daryl Fucking Dixon.

Ivy's face lit up.

"Daryl!" Ivy yelled and ran up to him. She jumped into the man's arms and wrapped her legs around him. That was Ivys favorite way to hug someone.

"Hey, girl." Daryl whispered. Ivy jumped down from his arms after a minute of hugging.

Ivy smacked him across the face.

"What the hell!" Daryl groaned. Ivy crossed her arms.

"What the hell, me? What the hell, you! You just left without telling me. I was worried about you!" Ivy yelled at him.

"I'm sorry." Daryl spoke softly. "I won't leave you again."

"You better not." Ivy playfully pushed him. The group all came over and reunited with Daryl.

A boy that looked about Beth's age stood besides Daryl. Ivy waved to him and he waved back.

"Daryl, where's Carol?" Rick asked.

"Y'all might wanna sit for this."

๐—•๐—˜๐—ง๐—› ๐—ช๐—”๐—ฆ alive. It felt unreal. Ivy felt like she could finally breath again. When Daryl told Ivy the news, Ivy couldn't help but cry in happiness.
But there was one problem.

Carol got hit by a car.....

Yikes

And the people that have Beth also have Carol.

Double yikes

The next day, the group had began setting up Walker barriers like they had at the prison. Ivy had no problem with this. All she was waiting for was to get her Beth back.

Ivy had been helping out Daryl for majority of the day, and she decided she would go see if Carl need any help.

Ivy happily walked past Michonne and Rick, flashing them a smile. It made the two adults happy that Ivy was finally smiling again.

Ivy walked past Noah and flashed him a smile as well.

"Hi, Noah!" Ivy beamed.

"Hey, Ivy." Noah smiled. Ivy walked up to Carl who was boarding up windows.

"Hey, Carl." Ivy smiled. Carl turned to her and smiled.

"Hey." He began boarding again. Ivy stopped his hands for a second. "Is everything alright?"

"Yeah, I just can't believe we're getting her back." Ivy laughed. Carl grinned at the happy girl and grabbed her hand.

Michonne and Rick had began to walk away, walking towards the front of the church.

"It makes me happy seeing you happy." Carl commented. Ivy blushed and put her head against the church.

"Aw, that's sweet." Ivy giggled. "Remember when we hated each other?" Carl nodded.

"Yeah, and now we're best friends." Carl answered. Ivy raised one eyebrow and looked at Carl like he was crazy.

"Friends?" Ivy gasped. Carl realized what he said and face palmed.

"I didn't mean just friends." Carl sighed. Ivy smirked and turned him to look at her. Carl looked down at the girl, his eyes flickering to her lips.

"I know." Ivy spoke softly. Carl bent down until their lips were just inches away.

Ivy closed the space between the two. Ivy knew what she was doing. Carl on the other hand, not so much. Ivy guided Carls lips, and soon enough, Carl got the hang of it.

It felt like pure euphoria. Like no one else existed. It felt almost like all the bad in the world just went away.

The two pulled away from the kiss.

"So...." Carl trailed off. "Do you wanna be my girlfriend?"

Ivy smiled widely and nodded. "Yes, I do."

Ivy pecked his lips once more. Ivy took his hat off and placed it on her head.

"Get back to work cowboy." Ivy smiled.

"You look good in my hat." Carl complimented.

"You look better!" Ivy laughed. Ivy walked away and walked towards Michonne and Rick.

"Ricky!" Ivy yelled. Rick stopped what he was doing and looked at Ivy. "You better be nice to me. I'm officially your daughter in law."

"What?" Rick asked. Ivy tipped the hat towards Rick and Michonne and walked off. "What is she on about?"

"Rick, are youโ€” are you serious? Her and Carl are together."

"๐—œ'๐—Ÿ๐—Ÿ ๐—•๐—˜ back soon. I love you kid." Daryl kissed Ivy's forehead.

"Okay. I love you too." Ivy hugged the man tightly and finally let him go after about thirty seconds.

Rick made his way over to Ivy and gave her a hug.

"Be safe, don't do anything stupid." Rick stated. "Michonne, make sure you keep an eye on these two." Rick pointed to Carl and Ivy.

"They won't do anything." Michonne smiled.

The group left and closed the church doors behind them. Ivy and Carl locked hands out of instinct.

Nothing was really going to change in Ivy and Carls relationship. They've always interacted with each other like they were dating.

After a bit, Ivy had ended up falling asleep in Carls arms. The nap was well needed.

Carl admired the sleeping girl in his arms. She looked so peaceful as she slept, even with the blood and dirt covering her face.

Carl wondered how he had managed to get with a girl this beautiful and amazing.

He mentally congratulated himself.

Ivy had gotten woken up by the sound of yelling, and Carl getting up. Ivy jolted up in alert and grabbed her knife.

"What's going on?" Ivy asked Carl.

"Gabriel. Walkers."

Ivy got up and ran to the door before anyone else.

"Carl! Michonne! Ivy!" Gabriel yelled. Ivy tried to pry the wood plank off of the door.

"Use one of the poles!" Ivy yelled. Carl and Michonne found themselves at the door as well, helping Ivy remove the piece of wood.

Michonne had began to hack at the wood with her sword. The wood broke and Carl opened the door for Gabriel.

"Come on!" Carl yelled.

Walkers started piling, and Carl tried to shoot them all. Ivy pulled on Carls shirt.

"Carl! That's pointless!" Ivy yelled. Carl dropped his gun and ran to the rectory with Ivy.

As the ran inside the rectory, Michonne was quick to close the door behind them.

The group held the door closed as Ivy went to calm down the crying Judith. Ivy picked up Judith and bounced her.

"Sh, sh. Sweet girl, it's ok." Ivy hushed her.

Michonne pushed a chair in front of the door and Gabriel helped keep it closed. Gabriel pointed to a whole in the floor.

"That's how I got out! Crawl under to the back." Gabriel instructed Ivy and Carl. "Just go. Take the little one and go."

Ivy nodded and slipped through the hole. She crawled through the back and waited for Carl. Ivy heard Michonne saying something to Carl.

Carl crawled out of the hole and quickly jumped to Ivy's side.

"Did you get scratched or bit?" Ivy panicked. Ivy shook her head.

"No, no. They didn't get close enough." Ivy explained.

"Ok, good." Carl pecked Ivy's lips. Ivy still wasn't used to the whole dating thing, but that didn't stop her from loving the affection.

Carl looked down to his little sister and rubbed her head.

"She's so young, she doesn't deserve to be growing up in a world like this." Carl whispered, trying not to talk loud so he wouldn't attract walkers.

Suddenly, Michonne and Gabriel crawled out. The two adults stood up and Gabriel spoke.

"I don't want to run anymore." Gabriel breathed out. Michonne shook her head no and smirked.

"We're not."

The group found themselves back in the front of the church, killing walkers. Except Ivy, obviously. She was on babysitting duty.

After the group slaughtered the walkers outside of the church, Michonne ran to close the doors, trapping the rest of the walkers inside.

Gabriel hammered a wooden board in front of the door. Michonne wrapped her belt around the door nobs, and tightened it securely.

"Are you guys alright?" Ivy asked. Carl nodded and took his little sister from Ivy's arms.

"Yeah, we're good." Michonne answered.

๐—ง๐—›๐—˜ ๐—š๐—ฅ๐—ข๐—จ๐—ฃ had sat in front of the church for a bit of time. Ivy found ways to occupy herself by talking to Judith, who was by far the most interesting person there.

When Ivy got bored of gossiping to Judith, she made her way to a tree and carved things in it.

Ivy's alone time was interrupted when she heard wood breaking. Ivy looked over to the church door. One of the wood planks was breaking due to all of the weight being pushed onto it.

"Shit." Ivy muttered. Ivy moved back over to the group. Carl immediately grabbed onto Ivy's waist.

"Where do we go?" Carl asked. Michonne and Gabriel backed farther away from the door and as close to the kids as possible.

Another wood plank broke off. Only one was remaining, basically meaning the group was completely screwed.

At least that's what Ivy thought until she heard a vehicle approaching. Ivy snapped her head towards the sound, and before she knew it, a fire truck went crashing into the church's porch.

Ivy focused in on the familiar red head in the drivers seat.

"Oh my god. Why is he like this...." Ivy whispered. The fire truck was put into park and everyone hoped out.

Maggie stepped over all the broken objects on the floor and grabbed Ivy for a hug.

"You okay?" Maggie asked.

"Yeah." Ivy breathed out. Maggie released the girl from the hug. Ivy looked to her left and saw Glenn. Ivy pulled him into a hug.

After the hug, Glenn went and greeted Michonne. Ivy hugged the rest of the group then stood next to Maggie and Glenn.

"Eugene lied." Glenn announced. Ivy buried her face in her hands and sighed. She knew it was too good to be true. "He can't stop it."

"Washington isn't the end." Glenn sighed sadly.

"There is no end." Ivy whispered under her breath.

"Where is everyone?" Glenn inquired as he looked around, not seeing the rest of the group.

Ivy looked in between Glenn and Beth with a huge smile. "Beth's alive. And she's in a hospital in Atlanta." Maggie began to cry. "The rest of the group is going to get her."

"Do we know which one?" Maggie cried. Ivy nodded.

Maggie brought her hands to her as she cried. "Oh my god." Maggie brought Glenn into a hug before turning to Ivy.

Maggie engulfed Ivy into a hug and cried. "We're getting our girl back, V, we're getting her back." Ivy had began to cry along with Maggie.

"Let's blow this joint," Tara spoke. "go save your sister."

"Hell yeah!" Ivy cheered.
