๐๐ง ๐๐๐ ๐๐๐๐ก a few days of Ivy and Michonne. Ivy was becoming more and more emotionless by the day. Like she didn't care about anything that was happening. Like she didn't just cut a mans head off. She was acting like she didn't care about the many people that might've died during the fight at the prison.
Michonne and Ivy hadn't spoken much since the prison. There wasn't much to talk about, but still no words have really been exchanged.
Michonne had grabbed two walkers from the prison and had put them on makeshift leashes. It didn't do Ivy much good due to the fact Ivy had been walking way ahead of Michonne.
The endless hours of walking, the silence and finding random places to crash remind Ivy of her parents.
As Ivy and Michonne walked through roads and forests, they came across footprints. Ivy stopped in her tracks and stopped Michonne as well.
"Walkers?" Michonne asked.
"Nah, the footprints are to straight on." Ivy answered. "They're not far apart or anything."
"Could be anyone. We have to be careful." Michonne said. Ivy nodded as they continued to walk.
"So... are we talking again?" Michonne asked.
"I didn't know if you were ready to talk yet." Ivy slowed down so Michonne could catch up to her. "Thought if you were ready, you'd speak up."
Michonne looked at Ivy and smiled. "You could have said something. I would've talked."
"Do you... do you wanna talk about it?" Michonne inquired. Ivy took a deep breathe in and sighed.
"Don't think I'm ready."
The sun started setting but Ivy and Michonne were still on the road. Ivy and Michonne had checked high and low for anywhere they could stay, and they soon found a car.
The two got settled into the car. Michonne sat in the drivers seat and Ivy sat in the passenger seat. Michonne fell asleep the second it got dark. But Ivy stayed awake.
She couldn't sleep.
Ivy didn't know what time it was until the sun started to shine through the windows. Ivy looked over to see Michonne shifted around. She kept an eye on Michonne to make sure she is ok. Michonne suddenly shot up, breathing heavily.
Ivy grabbed Michonnes arms.
"Michonne. Michonne!" Michonne looked over at Ivy with wide eyes. Michonne sighed and sat back.
"Sorry." Michonne rubbed her tired eyes. "You're up early."
"Didn't sleep." Ivy admitted. Michonne sat up in concern.
"What? The sun just came up." Ivy nodded at Michonne. "Ivy, you need to sleep."
"Too late now. We gotta get a move on." Ivy smiled awkwardly. Michonne sighed in defeat.
ย ย ย Ivy and Michonne had walked through more woods and roads. As they walked, they started to get hungry but there probably wasn't any food for miles.
They walked through walkers and Ivy caught glimpse of a bunny. Ivy looked toward Michonne and nodded over to the bunny. Ivy snuck over to bunny and... you know.
The whole experience was like dรฉjร vu. The bunny, leaving her guardian. Everything was weird and messed up.
Ivy grabbed the bunny and walked back over to Michonneโ which she couldn't find. Ivy ran around the woods in panic. Ivy felt her breathing getting heavy. She couldn't hear any walkers snarling or the sound of Michonnes sword slicing through the air.
Ivy ran a bit more and found Michonne, dead walkers all around her. She looked as if she was crying. Ivy's mouth gaped and Ivy walked towards Michonne.
"Michonne." Ivy whispered as she pulled Michonne into a hug. Michonne couldn't even hug back.
"No! No." Michonne yelled as she shrugged Ivy off her body. "I can't do it. I can't."
"Michonne..." Ivy breathed out.
"Let's just go." Michonne turned on her heel and started walking out of the forest. Ivy stayed quite and followed. The exited out of the woods.
Michonne bent down and inspected what was left of the footprints in the mud. Ivy bent down as well.
"We gonna follow them?" Michonne nodded and stood up.
The two started walking, the familiar silence filling the air once again.
It was different this time. It wasn't Ivy in front, it was Michonne. Michonne walked with hope and pride. She was quick.
Ivy on the other hand trotted behind, shoulders slumped. She walked like she had nothing to live for. Ivy walked with sadness and disappointment. But she believed they could find anybody. Just somebody.
The twos first stop was a bar, or a diner. Either or.. They walked in on high alert. Ivy raised the gun she had stole from the stupid cunt she roundhouse kickedโ well that's how she described the woman to Michonne.
Ivy and Michonne looked at the dead walkers on the floor. Ivy shifted her gaze over to a peace of paper on the floor.
"please do what we couldn't !"

Ivy looked to Michonne who was also inspecting the letter.
"I'm gonna go check for anything over there." Ivy said as she pointed to some sort of back room. Michonne nodded.
Ivy really didn't got to check, she just wanted to give Michonne space. Ivy walked around. She saw bare cabinets and empty tables. Some were knocked down, some were still standing.
Just like the whole world.
There was more dead than living. More fallen tables than standing. Ivy sighed to herself when it hit her that she was comparing an apocalyptic world to fallen tables.
Ivy sighed as she jumped onto one of the tables. It wobbled a bit but then balanced.
Ivy thought about a lot of things. Something was always bugging her. Something was always worrying her.
She thought about where Beth could be. Beth probably got on that bus with those kids and drove them to safety. Ivy knew Beth did something right. Ivy hoped and prayed Beth was alive.
She wondered where Daryl could've been. Ivy knew for a fact Daryl was alive. There's no taking down Daryl Dixon. The badass with the motorcycle and a cross bow.
Ivy had a good feeling Rick and Carl were alive. She really hoped they were.
She hoped everyone was alive. She had a good feeling everyone was.
Ivy's train of thought was cut off by the table tipping over and sending Ivy to the floor. Ivy landed on top of broken table pieces and many pieces fell on top of her back.
"Shit!" Ivy cursed as she tried to stand up. Michonne ran into the room with her sword out. Ivy looked up at Michonne and blew her hair out of her face. "I'm good. I'm good."
Ivy stood up and groaned. She cracked her back before returning to Michonnes side. Michonne couldn't help but to crack a smile at the girl.
"What did you do?" Michonne asked as they began to walk out. Ivy pointed to the sign at the top of the building.
"This god damn barbecue shack has cheap ass tables. Busted my ass sitting on one." Ivy ranted. Michonne took out her sword as a walker approached them. Michonne sliced the walkers head off and continued walking.
"You're not really supposed to sit on tables." Michonne laughed. Ivy groaned and rolled her eyes.
"You sound like my 6th grade teacher! The only good thing that came out of this apocalypse is that I never had to see her ass again!" Ivy laughed. "She used to be like, 'put your feet down blah blah blah' or some stupid shit like 'stop writing threats underneath the love letters in the bathrooms!'."
"Ahh, so you were that kind of girl." Michonne smiled.
"Yup. Nobody was in a happy relationship until I was in a happy relationship." Ivy joked. "Like I was always happy for the nice, cute couples. But the snobby ones that shoved it down people's throats were so annoying!"
Michonne smiled and nodded as the girl went on.
"This one time, this girl named Stephanie wrote about her boyfriend Xavier in the bathroom stall and she was all like 'oh I love him so much! Oh he's just so great and lovely' and I wrote underneath that if she kept talking about her boyfriend that treats her like shit and flirts with every other girl, i'm gonna scream." Ivy ranted. "But he ended up cheating on her, so then I felt bad for her."
"I never remember my middle school drama being that eventful." Michonne commented.
"I bet you got all the guys! You're like so pretty!" Ivy raved.
Michonne would never admit it, but Ivy's compliment's made her cheeks fill with blush.
"Well I appreciate it kid." Michonne pulled Ivy into her side quickly. Michonne let go of the girl and smiled.
"I'm glad I got stuck with you." Ivy spoke. Michonne patted Ivy's shoulder.
"You're my partner in crime."
