eleven.

JOSIE AND PJ ran into Peyton in the parking lot before the football game. In fact, they literally stood in front of her to prevent her from moving forward.

"What do you want?" the blonde frowned.

"We need you and the other girls. We have to get the club back together or someone will die tonight." Josie told her.

Peyton laughed. "Die, really." then she noticed the girls' looks and her smile disappeared. "Oh shit, you're not kidding."

"We have to get the club back together. PJ insisted. "Are you in?"

The Holloway girl looked at them in turn then crossed her arms over her chest, stopping her gaze on PJ. "On one condition. I want you to apologize to Hazel."

Even though, Peyton told the girl they could be friends, Hazel stopped responding to her texts and was avoiding her at school, which made the blonde really upset because she missed the Callahan girl a lot.

"What, seriously?" PJ rolled his eyes. Seeing that Peyton didn't move, she sighed. "Okay, fine."

The girls went to the field and rushed up the stands, pushing the crowd. They looked around and saw Hazel sitting with Sylvie and Annie. They managed to climb up to them and Josie sat at their feet, out of breath. Hazel and Peyton's eyes met but the brunette looked away and tilted her head back with an annoyed sigh.

"Okay, first off, PJ has something to say to Hazel." Josie told the girls.

PJ nodded but didn't say anything. Peyton nudged her. "The apology, do the apology."

"Okay, jeez!" PJ turned to look at Hazel. "I'm sorry that I called your mom a skank. And, I'm sorry for saying that you have no friends. Really loud, in front of all of your friends. And, I'm sorry for being an asshole a lot of the time. Most of the— all the time. And I do think that it's nice you always take notes and then you type them up and email them to everyone. And I really appreciate it." Hazel stared at her for a second and PJ asked. "Do you forgive me?"

      Hazel smiled sightly. "Yes."

Josie clapped her hands. "I don't want to interrupt this gorgeous moment but we don't have time now because I got information from a very confidential source that Huntington is trying to kill someone on this team tonight."

"What are you even talking about, Josie?" Annie asked. "Nobody's even over there."

Josie looked at the field which was empty. "Oh my God, nobody's over there, that is obviously a red flag! Are we not reading that as a red flag? That's crazy!"

       "What?"

"Please, Annie, even though you're a Black Republican, you're the smartest out of all of us, okay?"

Annie rolled her eyes. "Obviously, I know that, you think I don't know that?"

"Then help us figure this out! We need to stop the game! We need to save them." Josie exclaimed.

"Wait, wait— Hazel. We need a distraction." PJ said.

Hazel stared at her and smiled. "Oh, now you want a bomb."

Hazel went to set up the bomb while the other girls were trying to talk to the cheerleaders. Isabel, Stella and Brittany refused to speak to them and when the players entered the field, the girls were forced to step back. Only Sofia followed them, alarmed by Peyton's worried look. The girls ran onto the field.

       "Hazel! It's starting!"

The girl started running in their direction and jumped to the ground. She unintentionally bumped into Peyton who fell with her as the rest of the group surrounded them. They waited for the blast but nothing came.

      "Hazel, it's not working."

"Fuck." the brunette tried to press the buttons of her remote, everyone was telling her what to do but nothing worked.

Annie stood up. "Plan B! We need the cheerleaders to make out."

"Which cheerleaders?" everyone stood up to follow them.

"Who cares? We need a distraction!" they stopped in front of the dancing girls and Annie waved at them. "Guys! Guys!"

"Guys! Make out with each other!" Hazel yelled as she stood on the front of the bleachers.

The Huntington players went on the field and everyone in the crowd went crazy as the two teams were already starting to yell at each other. They didn't have much time now. Peyton ran the stairs towards Hazel.

      "Haz!"

The brunette turned to her and Peyton rushed to her. She grabbed her face and brought their lips together. Hazel flinched in surprise but quickly kissed her back, slipping her hands into the Holloway's hair.

"Look! Look!" they heard Annie scream and the crowd cheered but neither Peyton nor Hazel really paid attention.

Their kiss was much more passionate than the one they shared at the fair. They pressed against each other as they kissed, as if they were trying to release all the emotions they had been holding back for weeks. It was sweet and Peyton felt a weird feeling in her stomach as Hazel pressed her lips on hers again.

"Can everybody stop looking at the dyke parade?" the voice in the speakers exclaimed. "Who do I have to blow to get this game started already?"

Peyton pulled away from the kiss to watch as the football players were getting on the field. Hazel bit her lip, because she could have continued kissing her for hours if the blonde hadn't pulled away. The Holloway's gaze went back to her and Hazel ran an hand through her hair with an embarassed giggle.

       "It's the second time. I guess I'm a great distraction, aren't I?"

Peyton shook her head. "No. Hazel, you're— you're way more than just a distraction."

The short-haired girl stared at her and the blonde put a lock of hair behind her ear as she explained. "I— I think I like you more than I thought I would. Like, way more. And I would like you to be my girlfriend. My real girlfriend."

       Hazel's eyes widened. "Oh."

       Oh?

Peyton took a step back. "Sorry— I shouldn't have said that."

Hazel grabbed her hand. "No! I didn't mean it like that. I— Pey, I've had a crush on you since the third grade. And I'd love to be your real girlfriend."

A genuine smile came on Peyton's lips as her eyes sparkled. She took Hazel's face between her hands and put her lips on hers. The brunette smiled as she put her hands on her now girlfriend's hips. But they were interrupted by PJ's voice.

"Yo, we don't have time for that!"

The two broke the kiss and shared a quick giggle before heading down the stairs to join the group.

      "There's pineapple here." Josie said.

"So they're gonna poison Jeff. Where is it?"

"I'm thinking really quick. What if it's their mouths and they're swishing it around and then they're gonna spit it out mid-game?" PJ suggested.

Hazel nodded. "I hate to say it but it might have something to do with their semen."

"Obviously, it does not! What is wrong with you?" Josie yelled.

"Hey, what if we just calm down a little bit, yeah?" Peyton told her.

"They kissed on the mouth. With tongues." Sylvie chuckled as she stared at the couple.

       "Yeah, Sylvie, we did."

"They're gonna spray the field." Annie suddenly said.

      "What?"

"We're gonna have to run, we're gonna have to run!"

"My asthma!" PJ yelled as they ran.

Josie looked at her. "You don't have asthma!"

"I feel like I have asthma now!"
