(act ii)

THE COMET

'night of the comet'

I wake up to the sounds of Jenna and Elena bustling around in the next room. Sunlight beams through the sheer curtains. Jeremy's arms tighten around me as he feels me move. I look down and find us both naked, and my body marred in love bites; the same goes for him. His head is nestled on my chest, and his arms are tight around my mid-drift. I run my hands through his hands, trying to softly wake him up. He leans into my touch and smiles, making me know he is awake.

I notice the clock and huff and nudge Jeremy's arms off me and say, "Come on, love, you gotta get up. School starts soon."

Jeremy hears me and groans and rolls over, away from me, which makes me huff. I slide my hand up and down his muscular arm, lean over, move his head towards me, and kiss him. He groans into the kiss, bites my bottom lip, and pulls it, making my eyes flutter. His hand goes to my throat and uses his hand as a necklace, and rolls me over him. And he gets on top of me, and we make up, and it quickly turns into a fight for dominance which I win.

I push him off me and start getting ready. He huffs and joins me in search of finding clean clothes. Jeremy grabs a pair of skinny black jeans and a grey shirt and walks to the bathroom while I search through my drawer.

Since I am over a lot, I have my own drawer, the bottom drawer. I grab an outfit and join Jeremy in the shower; we finish quickly. We both get changed, and we brush our teeth. I put clear lip-gloss on and mascara and brush my wavy hair.

Elena left while we were getting ready. When we finish getting ready, Jeremy grabs his bag, and I teleport to my house to grab my bag and shoes. I teleport back, and we walk down the stairs and see Jenna. Jenna smiles and waves at me. I go and give her a hug, to which she reciprocates.

"How was your night? Because from what I heard, it sounded good," Jenna cheekily asks me.

I grin and nod. "Yeah, it was good. Apologies for the noise. Did Elena say anything" I ask,

Jenna smiles and shakes her head, saying, "It's fine; at least one of us is getting action. Elena thought you were Vicki for some reason. I don't understand why you don't tell her you guys are dating."

I sigh, and Jeremy puts his arm around me, hearing where the conservation is going, and I lean into him and say

"Because she wouldn't accept us. I'm kind of her friend and Jeremy is younger than me. It doesn't bother me at all but it will bother her. We haven't really been hiding it she's just oblivious. I wont tell her but if she asks, I will tell her."

Jenna frowns and nods her head, agreeing with me. "Okay, you guys should head to school."

I smile and tell her confidently, "Have a good day, and don't worry about Tanner. He's a dickhead. You're a good guardian."

Jenna awkwardly smiles and hugs me, brushing off what I said.

We leave the house, hand in hand, and I teleport us to a hidden place near the school. As we walk to the school, we talk about the upcoming classes.

Timeskip ~ History Class

Elena and Stefan look at each other with their stupid love eyes. It's so boring and gross; Elena is literally so dull.

History class is also dull. Tanner's a dick, and hair cut looks so dumb, making me think he's a perv that probably has two cats. I'm so excited about the new teacher.

Tanner is droning on and on about Mystic Falls' past and the comet because he doesn't know anything else.

He interrupts Elena and Stefan, and the bell rings. I get up and wait for Bonnie to pack up, and we walk out together, ignoring Stefan and Elena.

"So, where were you last night? You dropped me off in a rush," Bonnie says with a grin.

I sigh and tell her, "I was at Jeremy's. I didn't want him to be alone, especially since he was the one who found Victoria."

Bonnie nods and says, "Yeah, that would be scary. You guys definitely fucked, though. You're glowing."

I laugh and say, "Yes, we did. It was good. He's good considering he was still a virgin a few months ago."

Bonnie scrunches her face up and shakes her head. "Okay, too much. I didn't need to know that. He's my best friend besides Tyler."

I perk up when I hear Tyler's name. "Ohh, how is Tyler. When are you guys going to get together. You guys would be cute," I tell her.

Bonnie shakes her head "Nopppe, were just really good friends, I don't like him like that. I'm also not in the mood for dating at the moment and I'm waiting for a guy who looks at me like Jeremy looks at you."

I frown and say, "That's understandable, don't push yourself. How does Jeremy look at me?"

"Jeremy looks at you like you're a goddess, like you're the only person in sight. You do the same its cute. You guys are so in love with each other." Bonnie tells me with a smug smile.

I just smile, thinking about Jeremy, and say, "I know. I love him. He's so good for me and sweet."

Bonnie smiles and nods.

We walk off.

Timeskip ~ History Classroom

Jenna is sitting in a seat, feeling like a teenager again, and Tanner is leaning on his desk.

He says, "As Jeremy's teacher, I'm concerned. It's the third day of school, and he's skipped three of his classes." All right?

Jenna frowns and says, "Mr. Tanner, are you aware that Jeremy and Elena's parents died?"

"Four months ago, a great loss. Car accident. Wickery Bridge, if I remember correctly. And you're related to the family how? The, uh, mother's kid sister?" Tanner says rudely like the massive asshole he is.

Jenna nods and tries to smile and says, "Younger sister."

Tanner nods, "Right."

Jenna shakes her head and scratches her neck "Three classes? Are you sure? I mean, that's not that much."

Tanner shakes his head and says, "Not when you're on drugs. It's his attempt at coping, Ms. Sommers. And the signs are there. He's moody and withdrawn. Are there any other relatives in the picture?"

Jenna frowns, sits up straighter, and says pridefully "I'm their sole guardian, and he only does weed."

"Uh-huh. Could there be" Tanner says like a douche

Jenna frowns and sighs "What are you suggesting, exactly?"

"It's an impossible job, isn't it, raising two teens?" Tanner says, smiling like he just didn't insult her.

Jenna scoffs, "It's been tough, but, no, it's not."

Tanner, like the significant dick he is, says, "Wrong answer. It is an extremely impossible job, and anything less, and you're not doing it properly."

Bonnie, Elena, and I are sitting outside at a café getting lunch. We were discussing the comet.

"Well, I was talking to Grams, and she said the comet is a sign of impending doom. The last time it passed over Mystic Falls, there was lots of death. So much blood and carnage, it created a bed of paranormal activity." Bonnie tells us.

I nod in agreement with a grin on my face while drinking a cup of hot tea.

Elena says, "Did you pour Grams another shot then?" making Bonnie and I frown. I narrow my eyes at Elena's rude behavior.

She turns to me and says, "Stefan and I were together last night; we talked for hours." Was this dishwasher trying to brag? If you're going to brag, do it right.

I shrug and tell her "My boyfriend and I went a few rounds in bed last night". I smile and say, "You talked for hours, congratulations. God, made me cum so many times." I smugly smile at Elena, and she frowns, and Bonnie snorts at my behavior.

Elena frowns and says rudely, "Since when did you get a boyfriend? Why didn't you tell me?"

Is it really that hard to believe I have a boyfriend? What a bitch

I tell her, "We started dating a while ago. I didn't tell you because you didn't ask and were not really friends. I only tolerate you because Bonnie is friends with you."

Elena frowns and flinches from my words and gets up.

Bonnie frowns and worriedly asks, "Where are you going?"

"Caroline's right. It is easy. If I sit here long enough, I'll end up talking myself out of it instead of doing what I started the day saying what I was going to do." Elena tells her and walks away.

Bonnie and I look at each other and say, "What the fuck is wrong with that chick."

Bonnie just looks as confused as I am and just shrugs.

Timeskip ~ Candle Lighting (Town Square)

Elena, Bonnie, and I are walking around talking and handing out these stupid pamphlets.

This is so dumb. Why was I even invited?

Bonnie was taking her job seriously and handing out the pieces of paper while I was standing around with a frown.

Bonnie turns to Elena and says, "He didn't call, huh?"

"Or text. But I realized we never even exchanged that stuff. We've never gotten to the texting part." Elena says with a sad smile.

Bonnie smiles comfortingly while I gag in the background. Ignoring me, she says, "That's an important milestone in any relationship."

Elena says, "Isn't it? The timing is wrong, anyway."

I groan, bored out of my mind. "When did you guys even start dating? You literally met him a few days ago. You're probably a rebound or something. Relationships never start that quickly. It won't last long." I tell her condescendingly.

God, I'm so over this dopplebitch. I mentally roll my eyes  

Bonnie looks at me, annoyed, and Elena looks like she's going to cry. Serves her right. Stefan is way too good for her. She literally dates his brother right after they broke up.

Elena lets a tear drop down her cheek. "That was really mean! Why would you say that?" she tells me sadly.

I roll my eyes at her stupid behavior and tell her like I'm talking to a toddler, which she is, "I'm mean, dearie. Everything I said was true, and the truth hurts."

When I finish, I smile and walk off, leaving Elena crying and Bonnie rolling her eyes at my barely hidden disgust for the dopplewench. Bonnie knew why I hated Elena and understood them, but they were still childhood friends! Bonnie rubbed Elena's back and apologized, and murmured nice things to her.

Walking to the grill, I saw my adorable boyfriend looking around like a lost puppy. So, I walk up behind him and give him a hug from behind, scaring him. He yelps and realizes it's me, and relaxes. I walk around in front of him and give him a warm smile, and he smiles back.

He pulls out two candles from his pocket and says, "I got us some candles."

I pull one out of his hand and say, "Thank you, darling."

I lit them with a simple word, incendia, and they flicker on.

We hold hands and talk, watch the comet, and ignore everyone else, happy being in each other's company.

I noticed Bonnie was standing with Tyler and talking. They became good friends over the years, we helped with his dad, and he usually stays at Bonnie's or I's place.

Timeskip ~ Mystic Grill

Jeremy and I were walking hand in hand as we sat with our friends. Matt and Tyler were still friends but not best friends like cannon. Matt was mundane and was obsessed with Elena, so we all kind of backed off on our friendship. I simply hated him; he was so boring and its mind boggling to think he survived all the big bads and stayed human. It was my goal for him to die. I would not lift a finger to save him. He was annoying and I was doing Death a favor.

I looked around and noticed Victoria was gone so that means she's up on the roof with Damon.

Jeremy noticed her absence and asked "Hey, has anyone seen Vicki?".

Sure, Jeremy and Vicki were never a thing nor was Tyler involved with her. But she was still an acquaintance and just recently got out of the hospital.

Tyler responded "Nah, mate. She's probably doing drugs somewhere"

Jeremy grinned at the comment and said "I'm a little bit worried. She just got of the hospital"

"Can you guys help me find my sister?" Mundane Matt interrupted with a frown.

I rose an eyebrow unimpressed at his demanding tone. I wasn't moving to look for some druggie.

Bonnie the ever-nice person says "We'll check the back"

Matt informs everyone that "he'll check the square"

Jeremy and I stay where we are, and I tell him where she is and what's happening at the moment.

The cannon scene was so dumb. Everyone completely forgot about Jeremy 'accusing' Tyler about being a rapist - like he tried to force Vicki like eww. Like that was so fucked up, Vicki's own brother literally ignored it. Also, the fact Elena didn't care about her and only cared her brother was a dealer. Like get over yourself.

Caroline was watching the whole scene; she was currently invisible. She was bored of this conversation; Stefan was trying to save Vicki and protect the vampire species from the council whilst Damon that idiot wasn't even trying to hide. One of the reasons why Damon is stupid is all his actions in season one had major consequences and he didn't care.

Damon was trying to push Stefan to drink human blood which was a good idea. He's weak on animal blood and he can't accept himself so I'm going to help him. rippah Stefan was so much fun, a tad annoying but better than this broody vampire.

Damon yelled at Stefan "Ugh! Your choice of lifestyle has made you weak. A couple of vampire parlor tricks is nothing compared to the power that you could have, that you now need. But you can change that. Human blood gives you that."

He's not wrong tho.

I'm interrupted by the druggie yelling "No!" and I can't help but sigh.

Stefan tosses Vicki down like trash that she is and is slowly becoming weak to the smell of blood.

Damon looks at Stefan and tells him "You have two choices. You can feed and make her forget. Or you can let her run, screaming "vampire" through the town square."

Stefan listens as he pants form the intense smell and says "That's what this is about? You want to expose me?"

Damon shakes his head and passionately says "No! I want you to remember who you are!"

Aww what a cute motive I think to myself.

Stefan looks up at him and says with disdain "Why? So, what, so I'll feed? So I'll kill? So I'll remember what it's like to be brothers again? You know what, let her go. Let her tell everyone that vampires have returned to Mystic Falls. Let them chain me up, and let them drive a stake through my heart, because at least I'll be free of you."

This is kinda of sad. Stefan just wants to be alone and happy but Damon's too much of a dick

Damon just scoffs and whispers into Vicki's ear and she is compelled and fine and not a sobbing mess.

Vicki is clueless and asks looking around "What happened? Where am I? Oh, I ripped my stitches open. Ugh..."

Stefan asks "You okay"

Vicki chuckles on the floor and says "I took some pills, man. I'm good."

God what a druggie. It's not really something to be proud of

Vicki gets up and walks away

Damon turns to Stefan and says "It's good to be home. Think I might stay a while. This town could use a bit of a wake-up call, don't you think?"

Stefan is instantly suspicious and with his weird brooding face asks him "What are you up to, Damon?"

Daman smirks and says his iconic lines "That's for me to know and for you to...dot dot dot." He scoffs and says, "Give Elena my best."

Damon turns to leave but I walk closer and losing the invisibility spell I say, "Oh don't worry dearie, I will."

They both turn around surprised, and Damon tries to vamp speed at me with his ugly vamp face on and trys to attack me making me scoff. I glare at him with murderous intent, and he's quickly slammed into the ground, knelling and groaning. 

Stefan is surprised and is about to attack me for hurting his scum brother, but I just shake my head at him.

He stays still and I start to talk.

"Damon, Damon, Damon you've been a naughty boy. You're going to expose yourself and everyone supernatural in this town. Cease your actions, they are causing mornings within the council land they will out and kill us all. You need to be aware your actions will have consequences."

Damon groans deeper from the adder pressure. He glares at me with narrowed eyes, and I just give him an innocent smile.

Stefan steps in and tells me with a soft voice "I know. I'll take care of him. There's no need to be worried Caroline. You can let him go now"

His tone makes it seem like he's talking to a rabid animal. My smile is gone and in place is a thin line and my eyes become cold and I say "You dare command me, watch yourself boy. Damon will get himself in order or he will be exterminated. My friends and family will not be endangered all because a blood feud the two of you have."

Stefan takes a step back from my cold and authority filled tone and nods his head and replies "I'm sorry. We won't cause anymore drama. I didn't know the Forbes were witches, when did that happen?"

My eyes stray to Damon who is still kneeling like a good dog, and I flick my hand and the pressure is released and he slowly gets up. I respond to Stefan's question "Yes, the Forbes have no magic in their bloodline. I am the first and late witch from my bloodline. It does not concern you the how."

Stefan nods and looks over at Damon searching him for injuries.

"Your feisty. I like it" Damon says with a grin.

My eyes narrow and I tell him "Watch your tone. I am already in a relationship, and you disgust me."

Damon narrows his eyes at me clearly not likely my insult.

I step back ready to leave and say what I came here for "You will leave Bonnie, Tyler, and Jeremy alone or I will kill you. Any of you harm them in anyway and you will find yourself wishing for death. Bonnie will not aid you Mr. Salvatore. She may be a Bennett, but she is different from the others. You have been warned"

I turn around before they could say anything, and I teleport out of there and land next to Jeremy who was walking to the Grill.

We walk in and see Bonnie sitting alone so we go join her.

I sit down next to Jeremy in front of Bonnie, and I say my line "This is so dramatic. Ever notice how druggies are the biggest attention whores?"

God this line is so iconic.

Bonnie just looks focused on something else and reply's "Yeah I know"

Stefan walks over and says "Excuse me. Hi."

His presence is unwanted, and I narrow my eyes at him

Bonnie welcomes him with a "Hi"

Jeremy looks annoyed and scoff at him.

Stefan looks away from my angry stare and focuses on Bonnie and Jeremy. He asks "Um, have you guys seen Elena?"

"I think she went home. I'm gonna give you Elena's cell number and her email. She is big on texting, and you can tell her...I said so". Bonnie tells him

Bonnie finishes writing Elena's number on a piece of paper and passes it too Stefan accidently touching his hand and having a vision.

She's always been strong in visions. I didn't think she would still have his visions after all her practice and training. The plot must be trying to re-work and stay on track.

Stefan sees Bonnie freaked out expression and asks "You ok"

Jeremy comes to her rescue not understanding she just had a vison and says "Bon-Bon you alright?"

I rub my hand up and down her back trying to calm her.

Bonnie looks slightly scared and says "What happened to you? That's so rude. I'm sorry. Excuse me."

I look at her with a gentle smile and ask her" Are you okay, darling? Do you want me to drop you home?"

Bonnie nods and smiles at Jeremy to let him know she's okay and they all walk out, leaving one Stefan Salvatore confused and worried.

The Next Day ~ The Gilbert Residence

Elena sees Jenna searching Jeremy's room, confused she asks her "What are you doing"

"I've become my worst nightmare. The authority figure who has to violate a 15-year-old's privacy." Jenna replies

Elena frowns and asks, "What brought this on?"

Jenna starts searching his drawers and says annoyed "Your ass-hat of a history teacher shamed me good yesterday."

Elena laughs a little and says "You got tannered. Been there."

Jenna sighs and mimics Tanner ""Discover the impossible, Ms. Sommers."" Got it. Thanks. Like I didn't know I was screwing up."

Jenna finds a bag of weed in his sock drawer and smirks triumphantly and chucks it at Elena and she looks at it weirdly

"You're not screwing up, Aunt Jenna." Elena tells her softly

Jenna groans and responds "Yes, I am. You know why? Because I'm not her. She made everything look so easy. You know, high school, marriage, having you. I can't do it. I'm gonna say or do the wrong thing, and he's gonna get worse, and it's gonna be my fault. It's impossible." Jenna moves and sits on the bed as she finishes.

Elena looks at her and tells her "This is just the fear talking. You're a little scared, that's all. We all are."

Elena moves and feels something under her and finds she's sitting on women's underwear on the couch she was sitting on. Jenna and Elena both look at each other. Jenna clearly knows whose they are and tries to look away from Elena's searching gaze.

"Whose are these? There not mine or yours, right?" Elena asks with a high-pitched tone and narrows her eyes at Jenna who is looking away

Jenna gives up easily with a huff and says with a small voice "There Jeremy's girlfriends..."

Elena stands up with wide eyes and says, "Jeremy has a girlfriend!!"

Jenna nods tiredly already over this conservation.

"When did this happen? No one told me. Why didn't you tell me?" Elena asks worried and annoyed

Jenna sighs and responds "They started dating a few months before the crash. She really helped him through it."

Elena smiles and asks, "Who is it?"

Jenna frowns and unsure if she should say and remembers Care doesn't care that much if people knew. She fesses up, with a gentle voice and puts her hand on Elena's shoulder "Don't be mad but it's Caroline"

Elena's eyes widened and she gapes and finally says something "Caroline? Caroline the blonde bitchy cheerleader captain? Caroline, my friend? Caroline who is older than Jeremy?"

Jenna sighs, thinking Care was right. She nods and says "Yes, that Caroline. They are really cute and in love. It's sweet"

Elena sits down overwhelmed with the confession and questions everything. Jenna leaves letting Elena calm down.

The truth hurts

I was getting changed for bed when my phone rang. It was late so I wasn't sure who it was. When I saw the caller ID, a grin stretched on my face

"Hello love" a raspy voice graced my ears.

I smiled hearing his voice, "Hello, darling. How are you?" I ask.

"I'm good. I'm visiting New Orleans as you asked and it's beautiful. I ran into a bit of trouble with the local vampires here. It's a monarchy as you said. They were concerned about my daylight ring, asked where I got it." He replied.

I hummed and responded "Yes that sounds about right, Marcellus rules the vampires. Only his inner circle has daylight rings so of course they were worried. What did you tell them?"

He chuckled "Young vampires are so rude these days. I told them my beautiful witch girlfriend graced me with one. They did not believe me, considering the hatred between vampires and witches. One of them tried to capture me and torture me but I killed him. Worry not but I found the girl"

I laughed "Yes, young vampires are arrogant, think they rule the world. Are you alright, should I come visit you? Good, good I will deal with the girl when time asks for it."

His deep chuckle made me shiver "I can never say no to you. I would love to show you how much I miss you."

"Well it seems I can make my way over to you." I told him with a sultry voice.

He hummed "I will wait for you, always and forever"

I smile turned soft and I replied "Give me a few days to sort some things out. Always and forever my love"

"Goodnight, angel. Sleep well" he said

"Goodnight, love" I told him

He hangs up leaving me with a big smile on my face.

I added the Enzo scene last minute because we haven't seen or heard about Enzo for a bit so we can't forget about him. We will see him soon. Care's going to NOLA for a little vacation and also deal with some issues there. I'm not sure if I want to make it a whole separate chapter or just add in in with an episode chapter. What do you guys think. Should any of the group come? Jeremy might come and meet Enzo.

Death will be in the next chapter. I did kinda forget about him... But not anymore. It's just hard to implement him as a character because he's death ya know.

Hopefully these scenes sound okay and understandable i'm not where i'm going with this

Cannon Tyler is such a major red flag.

Also no one will change my mind, but I hate Damon. He is so gross. He literally forced Care into their relationship. I honestly think he probably did rape her. Like his behavior is so gross throughout the whole show he's not even that hot. Damon is literally a rapist. And don't even say its fine because he turned his emotions off that's not even an excuse, he's just so pathetic and thinks he's so cool when he really isn't like he tries so hard. Stefan was the better choice, he just needed to accept his nature. Which he will in this story, Ana will teach him control and to not become a rippah because I think this plot was dumb.

Sorry this took a while. I was working on school assignments and was procrastinating making Spotify playlists...check them out if you want.

I've worked a little bit on the next chapter so it won't be such a big wait.
