NEW ARRIVALS
'history repeating'
"Death. Why is Dean Winchester's doppleganger my teacher?" ~ Caroline Forbes
Previously on Killer Queen:
Jeremy, Bonnie, and Ana went to New Orleans for a vacation and met Enzo. Ana meets Marcel during a confrontation. Ana adopted Davina Claire after finding her in an abusive household.
At the Halloween party, Bonnie meets a mysterious man, Damian, and she loses her virginity. Thumbs up
Ana, Jeremy, and Enzo have a threesome and are now together in a relationship.
The gang is now back in Mystic Falls. Davina is enrolled at the high school. Enzo is finding activities to pass the time. Ana brought a new house for her family, Liz, Enzo, and Davina.
Victoria transitioned into a vampire but died because she tried to eat Matt, resulting in Stefan killing her. Elena knows about Stefan and Damon's vampiric nature.
Lexi was killed by Damon like cannon. The council is off their backs. Stefan locked Damon up, but Tiki came and helped him.
The talisman was given to Bonnie years ago, and Damon knows she has it. Bonnie leads Elena to believe she is a witch because she's been lying about it for a while.

I was helping Davina back her bag for her first day at school. She was enrolling later into the year, which would be more difficult for her, but she's a strong girl.
"Do you have your pencil case?" I asked her, watching her rummage through her drawers. Davina huffs, turning to me with a pout, and replies, "Yeah, but I can't find that set of charcoal Jeremy gave me yesterday!"
I chuckle lightly and point to the top of her drawer, where a thin metal case sits. Davina turns around quickly and laughs happily, carefully picking the case up. She brings it to me, and I place it in the front pocket of her bag.
I give her a packed bag, and she clutches it to her front. We walked downstairs into Enzo's kitchen, making pancakes with an apron that read 'kiss the chef.' So I did that, walked over, and pecked his lips with a smile. He twirled me around, making me giggle.
I watched him flip pancakes with ease, and we chatted about today's activities. "Your mother left earlier today for work," Enzo told me, and I nodded in response.
"What are you going to do today since we'll all be at school," I asked him. I didn't want to drag him back here and not have anything to do.
Enzo scratched his neck sheepishly and replied, "Well I'm not sure. I might work on my motorbike today. Don't worry I'll find something to do."
I nodded softly, and he finished the last pancake and brought them all over to the today. We all sat down at the dining table and ate breakfast.
I was carrying my bag, ready to leave, when I saw Davian saying goodbye to Enzo. I noticed she didn't have shoes on, so I called out to her, "Blossom, go put your shoes on. We have to leave soon" she nodded and ran off to put them on.
Enzo hugged me, and we kissed goodbye and said, "You look cute."
I laughed and shrugged my shoulders, saying, "Who knows."
Enzo let out a soft growl and nipped my skin, making a hickey appear, making me groan and push him off, making him laugh.
I rolled my eyes at his behavior and walked off, seeing Davina waiting with her shoes on at the front door.
(I'm still unsure of Davina's fashion style. So comment what you think she wear...^ Basic teenager fit I guess idk )
_______________________
We were driving into the car park of Mystic Falls High when Davina asked me, "What do I say to the teachers. Wouldn't it be weird if they know you adopted me? I'm only a few years younger than you."
I laughed at her confused face and replied, "It's fine no one will look to much into it and if they do we can deal with it. Most people won't ask such personal questions, just ignore them. Enzo and I adopted you so your last name is Raven. Just tell them Enzo is my boyfriend so that's why I know you. If you have any problems come to me okay bloosm."
Davina nodded and said, "Ohh, okay, that makes sense." I smiled, patted her cheek, and said, "If anyone bothers you, let me know, okay darling. Don't use your magic at school. This town doesn't welcome the supernatural. I'll come to get you after classes end and take you home."
Davina noticed we had arrived and parked. She nodded, picked up her backpack from the floor, and got out. I followed her, turning the car off and getting out with my satchel over my shoulder. I locked the car, walked around the front to her, and put my arm around her shoulder, stirring her into the main building, not caring about the weird stares from the other students.
I took Davina to the office, got her all sorted out, and ensured she was taking the classes she needed and wanted to take. We met up with Jeremy outside the office before the bell went.
"Remyy!" Davina yelled, grabbing his attention. He looked around at the noise and saw Davina waving at him and me standing next to her. He laughed, said goodbye to the person he was talking to, and walked toward us.
Jeremy bear-hugged Davina and kissed her forehead. "How are you settling in, kiddo?" he asked.
Davina groaned at the nickname 'kiddo,' saying, "I'm not a kid! You're not even that older than me! It was good, though, Enzo made pancakes and Ana helped me with setting the plants up."
Jeremy ruffled her hair up, earning a light hit to the chest from her. "That's good; if you need more help I can come over," he said, ignoring the age comment making Davina and I roll our eyes. Jeremy saw and huffed. "Like mother like daughter already?"
I hit him with a laugh and was cut off by the bell going off.
Davina looked around wide-eyed, watching all the kids quickly walk off to their classes. I patted her shoulder and said, "You'll be fine blossom. Jeremy and I are here for you, and Bonnie is too"
Davina nodded, hugged me, and said, "I have art and I can't be late. I'm so ready to use those charcoal," grinning at Jeremy at the end.
Jeremy laughed and said, "Draw me something good kiddo."
Davina groaned but laughed as she walked off.
I watched her go, and Remy hugged me from behind and said, "Do you want to skip the first period. I want to go for a smoke."
I laughed and walked off without saying anything, and he followed me outside to our spot. Jeremy already had a smoke between his lips and held another between his fingers. I moved my face towards him and grabbed it with my mouth. I snapped my fingers, instantly lighting both cigarettes.
I took a long drag sighing as I softly blew it out. Jeremy sat next to me, leaning his head on my shoulder, taking a puff.
"How are you?" I asked softly.
He hummed against me and said quietly, "I'm alright. Elena was annoying when I got back. She acted like I didn't tell her about the trip and got Aunt Jen's permission. She keeps acting like my mom, it's so annoying!" His quiet voice quickly turned irritated.
I nodded to his ranting about Elena and added a few things here and there, letting him rant and listening to him.
After he was done ranting for a bit, he sighed, finishing his cigarette roughly and putting it out against the stairs. "I'm just over her shit. The fact she knows about vampires and hasn't told Jenna or me is annoying. We deserve to know she's bringing a vampire in the house. Aunt Jenna isn't able to protect herself!"
I nodded and said, "What she is doing is very idiotic, but she's 'trying to protect you in the dumbest of ways. We can tell Jenna ourselves; she does deserve to know. We should've told her a while ago. How about you two come over, I'll make dinner and we can tell Jen. She can also meet Davina and Enzo."
Jeremy smiled brightly like a kid and said, "Babe. You're so smart. Why are we waiting for Elena to tell her? We'll come over at six?"
I nodded, and quick movement caught my eye. I looked up and saw Dean Winchester..? I looked again with sharper eyes and still saw...Dean Winchester.
Why in the seven hells is Dean Winchester here? Did death have something to do with this?
If Dean is here, where is Sam? Those two are never too far apart from each other.
Jeremy pushed me out of my thoughts when he followed my eyesight loudly whistling, catcalling the car-loving Winchester.
"Who's the hottie?" he asked out loud.
I just shrugged, not knowing who he indeed was. I took the last drag of my cigarette, dropped it on the asphalt, and stepped on it.
I got up and held Jeremy's hand, and we walked off into the forest, skipping the first lesson and forgetting the hot lookalike.
I'll figure it out later. I have better things to...do.
_______________________
I walked into the school building quickly, finding a worried-looking Bonnie. I walked up to her, and she promptly hugged me, making me hug her back, confused.
"What's wrong Bon? Is it that wretched wench copy and paste?" I asked quickly.
Bonnie shook her head and said, "Emily contacted me through the talisman this morning."
"She's your ancestor, she won't hurt you. She must have a reason. Talk to Grams about it after school. I'm sure she has an answer," I told her softly.
Bonnie nodded and hugged me again, making me pat her hair softly, letting her squeeze me.

Timeskip ~ History Class
Bonnie and I were sitting near the front of the history class, waiting for the new teacher, Alaric Saltzman. Dean Winchester was still on my mind, but when wasn't he?
Death must have done something. He told me before that Winchester was not in this dimension. So, what was happening? It seems I need to see him later today.
I was shaken out of my thoughts, literally. Bonnie shook me quickly, looking at the person in front of us.
"Alaric Saltzman. It's a mouthful, I know. Doesn't exactly roll off the tongue. Saltzman is of German origins. My family emigrated here in 1755 to Texas. I, however, was born and raised in Boston. Now the name Alaric belongs to a very dead great-grandfather I will never be able to thank enough. You'll probably want to pronounce "Alaric," but it's "Alaric," okay? So, you can call me Rick. I'm your new history teacher." The Dean Winchester imposter that stood in front of me said.
My mind was slow for once, not computing.
Is this what it feels to be dumb? God, poor Elena, to feel like this all the time.
"Oh my, chuck," I said, bewildered, eyes wide.
The gorgeous piece of ass walking in front of me is definitely not Matt Davis. Not crusty dusty-ass Matt Davis, no, a doppelganger of Jensen Ackles or Dean Winchester.
What the fuck? I thought I was dreaming or the smoke was getting to me. I guess Big Daddy God didn't like him and changed his appearance.
As the doppelganger walked around the room talking, I couldn't help sending my thanks to The Boss and Death, who probably had a hand in this too. I need to speak to him later today.
The lesson went by quickly, and I began writing notes, shrugging the doppelganger thing off. I've met two doppelgangers but add another one in the mix. Let's hope this one is better than the original Alaric.

Timeskip ~ Lunch
I was sitting with Bonnie eating our Lunch, pasta. Elena and Stefan walked over to us, sat down, and started talking. Elena ignored me, probably still sulking about not being invited on the trip to New Orleans. Cue an eye roll.
I started talking to the moody vampire, Stefan, while Bonnie explained her 'dream' to Elena 'quietly.' Stefan was asking questions about the trip but kept looking at Bonnie, who was talking about Emily.

POV CHANGE ~ Jeremy 1st person
I walked into the history classroom, told I needed to meet the hot new teacher. He was eating his lunch at his desk, which made me laugh.
He looks up mid-bite, hearing my laugh and coughs. "Hey, Mr. Saltzman. I'm Jeremy Gilbert. You wanted to see me?" I tell him.
Alaric wipes his face with a napkin, puts his sandwich down, and looks up at me, saying, "You know that your old teacher had a jackass file? No joke." He held the incriminating file up and shook it lightly. "It's typed on a label. It has all the troublemakers in it. But really it's just an opus-- to you. Don't worry about it." he said, throwing it into the trashcan below him and finished saying, "I'm not him. Clean slate. Now... let's talk about grades."
I sigh, sit at the desk, and say, "I know. Look it's been a rough couple of months, I've been trying to turn them around. My girlfriend is helping me with my assignments."
Alaric nods, replying, "Yeah, I can see that.
But the problem is, we're halfway through a semester, and half a fail is still pretty bleak. This is the part where you tell me, "But what can I do to change that?" I'm glad you asked! How do you feel about extra credit?"
I laugh out, shaking my head "Yeah, of course. I don't mind a little extra credit. Care would hit me if I didn't take it."
Alaric nods, saying, "Sounds like a smart woman" I smile at him and reply, "You have no idea."
Alaric smiles, gets up from his chair, and tells me, "Good! Write me a paper. Pick a topic, whatever interests you, no Wikipedia. These old towns have a gold mine for history, so use it. Deal?"
I smile and say softly, "Thanks, most teachers wouldn't even bother."
"Well, I'm no simple teacher," Alaric says, making me look him up and down and say flirty, "Yeah, I can see that"
Alaric coughs in embarrassment and says, "You've got a week." I chuckle and walk out of the classroom smugly.
POV CHANGE ~ Back to Caroline 1st person
_______________________
Timeskip ~ After School @ Mystic Grill
I had driven Davina back home to Enzo earlier today since she didn't want to come to the Grill and wanted to help clean up for dinner tonight.
I met Jenna with Jeremy at the Grill for late lunch to chat, and I hadn't seen her since I left for New Orleans.
Jenna, Jeremy, and I sat at a booth with our food, talking when Jenna noticed Alaric. "Is that the hot new teacher everyone is raving about?" Jenna asks, watching Alaric eating alone at the other table.
"Caroline Forbes, right? The job is good but it's only the first day," he says, and I nod at him with a smile.
Jenna shakes his hand, too, and he introduces himself to both of us, "Alaric Saltzman. It's nice to meet you two."
"You're my history teacher too," I tell him, and his eyes widen with surprise.
"Oh, sorry I didn't realize you were a student," he tells me, scratching his neck in embarrassment. I laugh at him and shake my head fondly.
"Don't worry sir. It's fine," I tell him.
He nods, and Jenna speaks up, "Jeremy was just telling me about his paper. Thanks for giving him another chance."
Alaric nods and says with a light blush, "It was my first day. I wanted to make a good impression."
Everyone is interrupted when my phone rings; when I realize it is Bonnie, I excuse myself from the table and answer her.
_______________________
When I picked up the phone, Bonnie's voice was tinged with annoyance and slight worry. "Hey, I'm with Elena. Damon just tried to threaten me over the necklace. What do you want to do?"
God, that idiot is on thin ice.
I was about to respond when I heard Elena's annoying, snobby voice. "Why are you telling Caroline about this?"
I sighed heavily and loudly, making sure she heard me, and said, "Are you okay? Bon do you need me to come get you? I'm having a dinner tonight, you and Shelia are welcome. Don't worry, you'll be fine, darling."
"I'll go get grams now and meet you over there. I need to see that smol little bean of yours," Bonnie says, sounding better and making me smile.
"About the necklace, don't let Elena make you get rid of it. You know the importance of it. You've had it for years, it's yours as a Bennett."
"I know. I would never give it up. We might need to try and contact Emily, she has a message for me," I hear Bonnie whispering over the phone.
I think for a moment and reply, "We can do a séance tonight. I'll get everything ready. I'll see you tonight."
_______________________
I sigh as I walk over to the table, seeing the trio.
"I need to head back home. Bonnie is coming over early to help set up. I'll see you guys later tonight?" I ask as I stand in front of them next to Alaric.
"Is Bonnie alright?" Jenna asks, making me nod and reply, "Yeah she's just bored."
Jenna laughs and says, "We'll be over in a hour or so. Do you need me to bring anything?"
I scoff at her and smirk, "Of course not. Just bring your beautiful self."
I put $100 on the table as Jenna laughs at my comment, and Jeremy groans, saying, "Stop hitting on my aunt, babe."
I smile at him and give him a quick kiss making him shush. I lean back, look at Alaric and tell him, "You should come over tonight. I'm hosting a dinner party. It would be good to mingle with a few locals."
Alaric looks surprised but nods and brings his phone out. "Sure, I would love too. What's your address?"
I take his phone, add my contact under Blondie, and text myself the address on his phone. I hand it back to him and laugh at his frozen face. "Adorable you are," I tell him as I walk out and leave.

Timeskip ~ Dinner at the Forbes/Raven Mansion
I get to the house quickly, shower, and prepare dinner. Bonnie came in as I finished my shower and changed into the bathroom. We were talking as I was doing my makeup.
"How are you? He didn't hurt you did he?" I asked Bonnie worriedly.
Bonnie laughs, plays with my hair, and tells me, "No, he didn't. It was all good."
"Good I would hate to get my new set ruined with blood," I told her with a manic grin. Bonnie laughs at me and nods her head.
Davina comes running into the room and jumps on my bed. "Mom! Zozo told me that he's going to start cooking and wants your help."
I laugh at her and ask, "Zozo? Don't tell him you nicknamed him that, little one. I'll be down in a minute. Are you ready to meet Jeremy's family?"
Davina nods rapidly and says, "Yeah, Remy is cool so his family has to be right? Also, he's gonna be so proud of the drawing I made of him."
I stop brushing my hair and turn around, pouting, "You drew Jeremy? What about me..?"
Davina rolls her eyes and says, "Of course, I drew you! It looks perfect too."
I get and laugh. "You'll have to show me after dinner, blossom."
"You both are silly. How was your first day at school in Mystic Falls?" Bonnie said.
"It was pretty good; everyone is super nice. The art class was cool too since the teacher was chill. How was your day, Bon?" Davina said with a significant smile.
Bonnie ruffles her hair and says, "That's good. My day was stressful but boring."
Davina laughs at bonnie, and bonnie chases after her, both of them running down the stairs. I chuckle and follow the nose into the kitchen.
Enzo placed his freshly made lasagna into the oven when I walked in.
He's such a quick cook. It's so good to be a vampire.
"Took you long enough, angel" Enzo smiled at me. I walked over to him, hugged him, and graced him with a kiss that quickly turned into a make-out session.
We were interrupted by a cough, I turned around to see Liz with a cheeky grin on her face, and she said, "Keep it out of the kitchen, you too."
I pout and ask, "Did you just get home? How was work?"
Liz shakes her head at my abrupt avoidance and replies, "It was alright. Nothing really happens in Mystic Falls; only vampire-induced accidents. I just laughed at the new intern today."
"Ohh new intern?" Enzo asked, wiggling his eyebrows at her making her blush and quickly leave the kitchen, making us laugh loudly.
"Wait, seriously? Liz!! Get back here!" I ask as I quickly sober up, but she is gone.
Enzo laughs at me, and I slap his chest and start making the salad, chopping vegetables up. Enzo joins me and butters the Turkish bread making garlic bread. We talk about our day and predictions for tonight's drama.
_________________
Bonnie and I were sipping from our wine glasses, and Enzo was nursing a bourn. It was a normal thing for us. We stopped when the doorbell rang, I got up, and Enzo followed me to the door. I heard footsteps rush downstairs.
Must be Davina
I opened the door and saw tonight's dinner guests and some... uninvited guests. Who can guess?
Jeremy, Jenna, accompanied Elena, and Stefan, was standing on my house's steps. Jenna smiled at me and shocked a favorite wine of mine, and I couldn't help laughing. "Come in, come in. Dinner is nearly ready," I ushered them into my house.
Jenna smiled and hugged me, and walked in. Jeremy followed after her and hugged Enzo. Elena and Stefan came in behind them. "I didn't realize I invited you both? You show up uninvited and empty-handed. Didn't your mothers teach you manners?" I ask, sighing, a little irritated. It was just bad manners.
Stefan drops his head, and Elena rolls her eyes. "We're friends. I didn't realize I needed an invite. Also, when did you move, and how did your mom afford this place?"
I scoff at her and say, "Are you serious? I brought the place, and we were not friends."
I leave the door open and leave them, walking into the kitchen again and seeing Bonnie and Jenna talking with glasses in their hands. Liz was pouring drinks for everyone, like an actual mom. Enzo and Jeremy were talking to each other, trying to keep their hands off each other. Failing miserably, mind you.
Davina was near the door hiding behind the wall, poking her head, watching everyone. "Davina, come. Meet the others." I said, amused at her behavior.
Davina blushes at being caught and walks out behind the wall, and everyone quietens down, seeing the new person. "Everyone, this is Davina, Enzo's adopted daughter." I introduce everyone to Davina. Jenna squeals and hugs her spinning her around like a doll, making me laugh.
Jenna is so childish.
"If you haven't met, this is Lorenzo, my boyfriend," I tell everyone after they introduce themselves to Davina.
Elena loudly gasps, making me and Enzo turn to her. "B-but your dating Jeremy. How could you do this to him? You slut!"
Everyone gasps at Elena, calling me a slut, and I sigh and tell her slowly, "Elena. We were in a polyamorous relationship. I'm dating both of them."
Elena's eyes go wide, and she yells, "What! That's gross. You can only be with one person at a time."
I was about to respond, but Jeremy cuts in and tells her, "It's not gross, it's love. I love Caroline and Enzo, were happy together. Also don't call Care a slut!"
"Your dating Enzo? But he's a guy!" Elena states the obvious like the idiot she is.
Jeremy groans and says, "I know, Elena. I'm bisexual."
Elena scoffs and walks out, and the room goes silent. Stefan sighs and apologizes and follows after her.
Enzo and I walk up to Jeremy and pat his back. He just rolls his eyes and tells us, "It's fine guys. I don't care what she thinks. I love myself and you too, no one gets to judge that"
We hug him tightly, and Davina walks up to us. "It's alright, Jer. I love you too". We all laugh, and Remy picks her up, making her squeal.
"Well, how about a quick tour?" I say to everyone. Jenna agrees, and the doorbell rings again. I go and get it and see Tyler with desert. Vanilla cheesecake.
"Care-bear! Thanks for the invite. I brought desert," Tyler says happily.
"Of course, Ty. Come in," I tell him. I take the dessert and hug him for a while.
"I haven't seen you for a while. I'm sorry for not coming to NOLA with you guys, I really wanted too but football has been brutal," he tells me softly.
"It's fine, Ty. You were busy. There's always going to be another trip. Come meet the others." I tell him, dragging his hand.
"Davina, Enzo come meet one of my good friends, Tyler!" I yell out as I get into the kitchen. Davina and Enzo come up to us and introduce themselves.
Stefan and Elena walk into the kitchen and up to Jeremy. They talk for a few moments, and Elena gives him a hug.
Liz sees Tyler, smiles at him, and shouts, "That's everyone? How about that tour?". I nod at her, and we all follow after her, and she walks us around the house.
Jenna and I were walking next to each other. "When did you guys move in?" Jenna asks me, taking a sip.
"We moved in a couple of days ago. It was pretty sudden, but it worked out in the end." I told her, and she nodded in reply. My phone buzzed, and I looked down to see a text message from Alaric. He was here. I quietly left the group, walked to the door, and opened it up, letting Alaric and...Shelia in.
"Shelia, you're a little late. Was everything okay?" I ask; Bonnie said she was supposed to be here a while ago.
"Yes dear. I just needed to go and buy a bottle of white, for Liz. Now where's my little granddaughters" she said, passing me the bottle and walking into the house, making me shake my head. "They're on a tour," I called out to her.
I turned around seeing a smiling Alaric. "Mr. Saltzman, welcome. Come in," I said, letting him come in.
"Alaric is fine Miss. Forbes. Thank you for the invite again," Alaric says.
"Well, Caroline is fine then; it's only fair. It's no worries; more, the merrier." I tell him, walking into the empty kitchen.
"Of course, Caroline. This house is lovely, by the way." He says, looking around the place. I go to the bar and pour him bourbon on the rocks and pour myself a vodka and lemonade. He follows me and admires all the alcohol on the shelves, making me smirk.
He and Enzo will get along great. They're both alcoholics.
With a smirk, I passed him his drink and said, "Jeremy was telling me how smart you are. The principal said you were a prodigy."
I walked up to him and sipped my drink slowly, thinking. "Prodigy? What an ugly word. Grayson, Jeremy's father, taught me many things, he helped me with work through college. I was treated badly within the education system, i was too young and was meet with resistance when I went for multiple degrees. People only see me as a prodigy, it was only talent, genetics, I was anomaly, they never saw nor cared about the hours of late nights studying or pure hard work and dedication. My peers were busy drinking and partying whilst I was working hard but they hated me for." I told him with fire in my eyes and annoyance in my tone, hating the people I had to work with who called themselves adults.
Honestly, it was laughable, but Grayson helped majorly. Sometimes it was hard; when I was at the Gilberts, my eyes would always trail to looking for Grayson, who would come up and drag me away and talk each other's ears off about medicine, history, and anything we were interested in. It was hard not working at the clinic on the weekends, that was my routine for years without it, and I felt different and incomplete. Jeremy helped me with him. He did lose his father.
"As sad as it is, people hate people, especially smart women. I'm glad you worked through it. You earned and deserve it, from what I can see. What did you major in?" Alaric said, trailing his hand up and down my hand, leaving goosebumps in his path.
I know this is wrong, but I don't care. It's not much of an age gap compared to Enzo or even cannon Caroline with a certain 1000-year-old blue-eyed hybrid. There are more significant problems to deal with in town than a student and teacher fucking like literal blood-sucking vampires.
I stepped closer to him and said, "Thank you, sir," as I trailed my hand up his chest making him breathe heavier. His eyes went a shade darker in lust, making me smirk as I leaned closer to his neck and said, "maybe I can show you my degrees in my office sometime."
Alaric smirked and leaned into me, trying to kiss me, but I pulled back, placed my finger against his lips, stopping him, and said with a head tilt, "Not here, professor." I walked off, trying to find the tour to start dinner; I was feeling hungry and unsure if it was for lasagne or something harder.
_________________
I finished the last finishing touches and placed the hot food on the dining table. Everyone joined me at the dinner table with their respective drinks. Shelia and Liz were sitting at both heads of the tables, and Jeremy and Enzo were sitting next to me on each side. Alaric was seated in front of me. Tyler, Bonnie, Elena, and Stefan were sitting on the other side of the table. Jenna was sitting on our side, next to Liz, while Davina was seated next to Enzo.
We all dug in and started causal conservation amongst ourselves.
"Oh my god. This is delicious," Tyler said, who was currently scarfing his portion quickly.
Enzo perked up and said, "Thank you. It didn't take that long."
"Good job, man. It's better than the chef at home," Tyler said while Enzo nodded in thanks.
"Do you like to cook?" Stefan curiously asked Enzo.
Enzo nodded and said, "Yes cooking is one of my many passions. Cooking evolves with time but sticks to the originals and bases. When I was on my trip visiting the world I meet many people and experienced food and cultures unlike any other. It really shows one how big the world is."
Stefan nodded, took a sip of his bourbon, and said, "Yes, the world truly has a lot to offer."
"Stefan Salvatore, right? Your last name sounds very familiar. Do you have any siblings, perhaps?" Enzo asked innocently. He was far from innocent. I nudged his leg, and he smirked at me, making me roll my eyes.
"Yes, in fact, I have an older brother. Damon. Damon Salvatore. Perhaps you know him," Stefan asked with a tilt trying to remember if he had to meet Enzo.
"Oh yes. Damon. I've meet him before, it almost feels like a century ago." Enzo said with a shit-eating grin. Stefan automatically stiffens at Enzo's response.
"I'll ask him about you when I get home" Stefan nods at Enzo, and Enzo smiles like the Cheshire cat and replies, "Ask him about Augustine too. They really missed him"
When he says that, I quickly find his hand and hold it, squeezing it in support.
He might look tough at the moment, but I know deep down he wasn't and would never get over what happened with Augustine. The betrayal he felt and the years of torture. He still has frequent nightmares about it.
Jeremy looks over at him and gives him a smile in support, and Enzo's nods back.
Stefan smiles and says, "Will do."
Elena then injects herself into the conversation and asks, "So, Care, how did you even meet Enzo? He looks older than you."
"Yes, Enzo is older than me, but I've always liked men a little older," I say, dragging my foot up Alaric's leg under the table, making his eyes widen, and his hands clench around his utensils.
"We met when Enzo was having some trouble, and I helped him out, and it was like love at first sight, so we soon got together," I tell her with a soft smile remembering how we met. Enzo's hand squeezed mine softly.
"Yeah, Care is an angel. She saved me too," Davina said, feeling left out of the conservation.
Enzo and Jeremy laughed at her, and Enzo ruffled her hair, making her groan in embarrassment.
"So Stefan, I noticed you're knowledgeable in history. What are your thoughts on history and the War?" I asked Stefan, who became quite uncomfortable about the topic.
"I read a lot. History and War go hand in hand, don't they? Without War, there is no history; without history, there is no war. "War is unjust and ugly that all who wage it must try to stifle the voice of conscience within themselves. There's nothing nobler than risking your life for your country or your values and family," Stefan said after a while. The table quieted down after I asked the question.
"Tolstoy? You are right about history and War; similar to life and death, one cannot live without the other. But "history is written by victors," is it not," I say to him after taking a sip of my drink.
Stefan laughs softly and replies, "Churchill? "Only the vanquished remember history""
I laugh and clap my hands softly. "McLuhan, is it? We must talk more about this at a later date. I wouldn't want to bore the others"
He laughs and notices everyone watching us with weird looks on their faces. "Sorry, I got a little carried away."
I wave him off, and he looks at Elena, who looks annoyed and says, "Elena said you were smart, but I didn't think you were a big reader. I knew you had multiple degrees, but you impressed me in history the other day when you showed up, Tanner."
I raise an eyebrow in response and say, "Why? Because I'm blonde, or is it because I'm a cheerleader."
Stefan coughs on his spit and splutters out apologizes, but I laugh at him, making me realize I was joking.
Jeremy ends the conversation, and we are all talking about other things.
Dinner was coming to an end when Tyler started asking about our recent trip to New Orleans. Jeremy was animatedly telling the others what we did and saw.
"So you found Davina and adopted her. Was it that easy?" Jenna asked, hearing the part about Davina.
I nodded, and Enzo replied, "Yes, it was surprisingly easy to get custody of her. Her parents were very understanding and wanted the best because they knew they could've given that to her, but I could. Davina wanted to come with us, so it was easy."
Jenna nodded, and the conservation was stirred off Davian and Enzo.

I was packing the plates and getting dessert when Stefan came in with the rest of the dishes. "Enzo is dangerous. You should stay away from him," Stefan told me worriedly. I laughed at him and smiled, "Enzo is my boyfriend and only dangerous in bed, if you know what I mean. I know he's a vampire. It doesn't bother me like it doesn't bother me. You're a vampire, either. I'm also a witch; no vampire could overpower me."
"Okay, I just wanted to warn you and I also want to apologize regarding my behavior's these past weeks. Honestly, I thought you were trying to get with me, but I can see you don't like me like that and are happy with your boyfriends. I'm really sorry, I really want to be friends with you and the others, you seem really cool."
"Thank you for apologizing, Stefan. Some people think just because I'm blonde and the cheer captain means I'm a skank. It's a hurtful stereotype, but I'm more than a cheer captain. This stereotype is reinforced when people find out I'm in a polyamorous relationship," I told him as I cleaned the plates, and he helped.
"I can see how that could happen. It's hard to be yourself when everyone has misconceptions about you and live up to the ideal people imagine you as." Stefan told me with a melancholy tone.
"That is very true. That's why you don't. No one else matters besides yourself and the ones you love. Be yourself. If they can't accept it, move on you'll find someone who does accept you and loves you. You have forever to find someone who will give you unconditional love and let me tell you it's not Elena. Stefan, you are a hundred years old, I'm sorry, but a seventeen-year-old girl will never understand or love you for your vampiric side. Elena is too wrapped up in her mortality; she'll never want to be a vampire." I said softly, patting his shoulder.
Stefan nodded at me and said, "I know Elena will never want to be a vampire, but I still love her. I'll be okay watching her grow old because at least I'll still be by herself."
I sighed and shook my head, and said, "Stefan, you don't love, you've known her for two weeks. You've already had fights; it won't work out. You don't even accept your vampire nature you can't possibly think she'll love it if you don't. You love her because she looks like Katherine, she's a copy and paste, she's just another Katherine you can past the time with because deep down you still love Katherine. Stefan you need to search deep and figure your own problems out."
Stefan looked shocked at my response and growled, "How do you know Katherine? Elena isn't the same as Katherine!"
"I am a seer, Stefan. I know things. Sure, Elena isn't a vampire or a martyr, but honestly, she's full of herself and a brat. She hides who she really is behind those doe eyes. Katherine was honest about her nature; she had a tough human life, and it was worse when she became a vampire. She has a reason to care about her self-preservation. You don't really know Katherine as much as you think you do. She loves you; you know it wasn't a lie. It was always you, not Damon. She had her reasons for her departure. Soon enough, Elena will play you Salvatore brothers like a fiddle. You just won't see it," I told him, feeling sorry for him.
"Elena isn't like that. Katherine was a self-centered bitch who never cared about Damon or me," Stefan tried to convince me, more like himself.
"Stefan you need to wake up. You don't know either of them that well." I told him softly.
"Why do you sound like Katherine is alive," Stefan asked with narrowed eyes, making me smirk and reply, "That's because she is. She isn't in the tomb; she never was. You really thought Katherine would allow herself to be trapped. She's been watching you for years; she probably knows you're here with 2.0."
"Look, just think about what I said. I can help you with your bloodlust. I'm sorry about Lexi. She seemed wonderful and full of light." I said with a smile and went to get the desert. I took the dessert into the kitchen; everyone had a plate, and we mingled for a while.
I was talking to Liz and Davina when Jeremy approached me with a worried Jenna behind him. "Sorry, I'll be back in a minute," I told Liz and Davina and walked off, following Jeremy and Jenna into the office.
"Take a seat, Jen," Jeremy said, sitting on one of the many chairs in the office. I sat down, too, and began the conversation. "Jenna, Jeremy has wanted to tell you this for a while. Originally we were going to wait for Elena to tell you, but that doesn't seem like the case."
"Jenna. Everything Grayson told you was true. The supernatural is real, vampires are real. Elena is dating Stefan, who is a vampire, and she knows he's a vampire. Enzo is a vampire. Vampires are not what they are portrayed as, there exactly like humans just their diet is different. You don't have to be afraid of them. Davina is also in my custody, we rescued her from abuse. I would never lie to you Jen" I told her gently, not trying to cause her to have a mental breakdown.
Jenna laughed at the start, then began quietening after seeing our serious faces. "I always thought Grayson was too into vampires seems like he was right for once. I need some time to accept this."
"Of course, Aunt Jenna, take all the time you need. Ask me any questions you have," Jeremy told her, giving her a glass of water which she chugged down.
"I also think you should go back to university full-time. I can take care of the money. Elena and Jeremy are old enough to care for themselves. Jeremy usually stays here most of the time, especially for dinner. You shouldn't have to pause your life for children that aren't your own. You deserve to have fun and live, not to worry about teenagers." I told Jenna with a smirk, making her laugh.
"Why does that sound more hard to believe then vampires, you don't need to give me money," Jenna told me, placing the empty cup on the table.
"Yes, I do, and I can and I will. I have more than enough for three generations to live happily. Jenna, you part of the family whether you like it or not," I said firmly. Jenna just shook her head and nodded. Jeremy took Jenna home, and they had more intense and more prolonged conservation about what bumps in the night.

Bonnie and I were in my shared room with Enzo, ready the room for a séance. Elena had invited herself into the room and came up with the idea of doing a séance.
Bonnie was only doing it because she wanted to meet her great, great times five grandmother, Emily Bennett. I was setting candles all around the room to create a dark ambiance. Bonnie followed behind me, flying the candles with a flame due to Elena's presence.
We were seated on the floor in a triangle formation, Emily's talisman laid in the middle of the human triangle. "What are we doing?" Elena asked us.
"Be quite and concentrate. Slow and controlled breathes. Close your eyes. Bonnie, darling call to Emily," I told Bonnie softly with my eyes closed.
"Emily, I'm here. To hear and listen. I've felt your presence, and I call on you," Bonnie said sternly to the air. As Bonnie finished speaking, the candle's flare immediately burned stronger and more fierce.
"Did that just..." Elena trailed off, seeing the candles burn brighter.
"Yes, be quiet Elena," I told her coldly, annoyed by her grating voice and presence.
"Emily, show us another sign," Bonnie called out to her ancestor.
The silence hangs but is broken when Bonnie gasps loudly, greedily breathing in the air.
"Are you okay, darling?" I asked her seeing her hunched form.
"Bonnie!" Elena yells softly in concern.
"I'm fine," Bonnie said softly with a different look in her eyes, obviously being possessed by Emily.
"Bonnie?" Elena asks again.
I narrow my eyes and ask her, "Emily, is Bonnie alright?"
Bonnie/Emily looks at me with a soft smile and nods getting up from the triangle position.
Bonnie/Emily leaves the room with Elena yelling after her, and I sigh and put a coat on, knowing what is about to happen. I grab my car keys and follow after them swiftly. _______________________
I had arrived later than Elena and Stefan at the church ruins, which annoyed me, which is why I teleported everywhere, but with Elena's presence, I could not.
Stefan, Elena, and Damon were 'talking' to Emily. I caught the end of their conservation with Damon yelling about the townspeople, "There is nothing innocent about these people, and don't think it won't happen again for a second. They already know too much, and they'll burn your little grand witch right next to us when they find out. Trust me."
Elena looked slightly horrified at Damon. On the other hand, I was ready to span his neck into existence.
Emily coldly looked at him and said, "Things are different now."
"Don't do this!" Damon yelled out to her.
"I can't free them. I won't. Incendia!" Emily yelled out as the pentagram on the dirt floor set ablaze, creating a wall between the two.
I loved the look on Damon's face, the look of anguish as he yelled at Emily to stop, in fear of never seeing 'his' Katherine again.
Emily ignored them all, threw the necklace into the air, and smiled as it exploded into the sky like a little firework. As the spell was completed, the crystal was destroyed and thus breaking the link between Emily and Bonnie.
Emily departed from Bonnie's body, and she awoke back in control of her body. Looking around, confused as she stood in the middle of nowhere and the others looked horrified at her. She clearly had no memory of what Emily did.
Damon was furious, anger bellowing out of his body. He growled, running at Bonnie to attack and feed off her. I was done with the show and twisted my hand, and my neck cracking echoed through the air.
I catch a terrified, shaking Bonnie in my arms. She cries into my arms, and I glare at Stefan, whose eyes are wide, while Elena's mouth is hitting the floor at my display of magic.
"What the hell. Since when where you a witch?!" Elena yelled in surprise.
I scoffed and picked a tired Bonnie up in a princess carry. "I was always a witch so is Bonnie. We've been learning for years. You're the only one who didn't know about the supernatural."
I walk off to the car carrying Bonnie and placing her in the back of the car. Bonnie sighed at me, and I just shook my head, closing the door.
I walked back to Stefan, who was next to an awakened Damon. I heard Damon tell Stefan, "Katherine never compelled me. I knew everything. Every step of the way. It was real for me. I'll leave now.
"I stand beside Stefan and tell Damon, "Don't ever try and attack Bonnie again because I will stake you the next time and watch you catch on fire with a smile. I know you don't believe me; I don't care, but she never loved you. She only loved Stefan, always did. She isn't in there, Damon, she never was."
Damon growls at me, showing his vampire's face and making me scoff. I walk back to the car listening to Elena cry and beg Stefan to say.
This is the best way for everyone to be safe. The Salvatore brothers are gone. It won't last long; he'll come. He always does.
I take Bonnie home to her Grams, who rushes me into the house as I carry Bonnie to her room.
"What happened, dear?" Shelia asked me in concern about her Bon Bon.
I sighed and sat next to Bonnie, who had fallen asleep in the car. "Emily possessed her through the talisman and brunt it to stop Damon from opening the crypt. She'll be fine. She's just been through a lot today. Damon nearly attacked her." I told her, moving a piece of hair away from Bonnie's face.
Shelia sighed, growling, "That damned Salvatore. Emily should've killed him!"
I laughed, looked up at her, and said, "Yes, she should've. Worry not if it comes to it, I'll kill him" I smiled suddenly and asked, "Tea?"
Shelia's frown lessened, and she nodded, and we left Bonnie's room, softly closing the door behind us.

DEAN/ALARIC IS HERE!!!!
Jenna and Alaric won't get together because ana is gonna get in there and I kinda don't see Alaric and Jenna together they had too many problems in season 1. I might give her an OC, or she'll get with Mason since they have a little history and look cute together... Jenna is now in the fold and she won't die, she'll mostly be off scene since she doing uni more.
Alaric is going to be a little different in this story because his cannon character is annoying and doesn't fit the face claim that is Jensen Ackles honestly. We'll get a reason behind the recast from Death next chapter lol.
I'm not sure how to write teacher x student honestly. i want it to be kinda believable that he would jump into a students bed ya know idk. there will be some proper Alaric and care action next chapter! Alaric won't get with Jeremy since the age gap is high and I don't see Alaric Saltzman as anything other than straight. We all know Dean isn't straight but oh well. also why are all the gifs on dean so silly like i need a serious one!
I feel like the conservation is kind of stiff and repetitive. Any comments on that? This is honestly the longest chapter and it's all because of that dinner scene. I was trying to work on dynamics and making new friendships and what not. Ana told somewhat truths to Stefan lets see how he handles it. On next time...
