BEFORE ADRIAN COULD Get to class she was dragged into the janitor's closet.
Billy covered her mouth and said "Don't scream."
Adrian nodded and moved his hand away "Billy, what are you doing?"
"Checking on you, how are you holding up?" Billy asked, rubbing her arms.
She sighed and bit her lip "Billy, shouldn't you be checking on Sidney?"
Billy shrugged "Your sister is always the same. Ever since your mom died."
"Yeah, I learned to move on, I mean it still makes me sad." Adrian murmured.
Billy sighed "They already questioned me. They'll probably question you before your sister. You should go."
Adrian left the janitor's closet "Billy?"
"Yeah?" He questioned.
"Thanks." Adrian smiled softly.
He saluted her. Adrian got sent to the principal's office.
Dewey smiled at her "Hey, Dri."
"Deputy Riley." Adrian said, smiling.
"How are you doing, Adrian?" Sheriff Burke asked her.
"Been managing since my mother's death, still learning to move on." Adrian replied, rubbing her arms.
"That's good. How well did you know Casey Becker?" Sheriff Burke asked.
"I only knew her through a couple of friends, I mean she's a grade higher than me. I don't know what happened to her. I was with a friend last night." Adrian told them, truthfully.
"Alright, enjoy the rest of your day, Adrian." Sheriff Burke smiled.
Adrian hugged Dewey then kissed his cheek "Love ya, Dewey."
"Love you, too, kid." Dewey nodded, hugging back.
Adrian pulled away from Dewey then met Billy, Stu, Tatum, Jolene, Amanda, and Randy waiting for Sidney.
"What did they ask you?" Amanda asked.
Stu wrapped his arms around Amanda, kissing her neck.
"They asked if I knew Casey. I covered your ass, Stuart, you owe me." Adrian said, pointing at Stu.
Stu put a hand on his heart "Thanks, girlfriend."
Sidney came out of the principal's office. Billy held her hand. The group went to sit by the fountain.

ADRIAN WAS EATING Silently.
"What kind of questions did they ask you, Sid?" Tatum asked her.
"They asked me if I knew Casey." Sidney responded.
"Us as well." Amanda, Jolene, and Adrian said.
"Hey, did they ask if you like to hunt?" Stu asked.
"Yeah, they did. Did they ask you?" Billy asked Stu.
"Hunt? Why would they ask you if you liked to hunt?" Tatum asked.
"A girl couldn't possibly gut a person, look at Aileen Wournos. She shot her victims point blank." Adrian piped in as she looked at Tatum.
"That's true." Jolene said, holding onto Tatum.
"Well, that's because their bodies were gutted." Randy spoke up.
Amanda smacked her brother over the head.
"Thank you, Randy." Billy said, sarcastically.
"They didn't ask us if we would like to hunt." Tatum, Adrian, Jolene, and Amanda replied.
"Cause there's no way a girl could've killed em." Stu said.
Amanda looked over to boyfriend "That is so sexist, the killer could easily be female, 'Basic Instinct'."
Stu kissed her cheek.
"That was an ice pick. Not exactly the same thing." Randy corrected.
"Yeah, Casey and Steve were completely hollowed out. And the fact is it takes a man to do something like that." Stu said.
"Or a man's mentality." Tatum and Jolene responded.
"How do you..gut someone?" Sidney asked, unsure as to why someone could do that to a person.
"You take a knife, and you slit em from groin to sternum." Stu explained.
"That's not what my sister meant, bonehead." Adrian said, tossing her gummy bears at him.
"Adrian's right. It's called tact, you fuck rag." Billy agreed.
"Hey, Stu, didn't you used to date Casey?" Sidney asked.
"Yeah, for like two seconds." Stu replied.
"Before she dumped him for Steve." Randy told his sister.
"I thought you dumped her for me." Amanda said, offended.
"I did, your brother's full of shit." Stu said.
"And are the police aware you dated the victim?" Randy inquired.
"Hey, what are you saying? That I killed her?" Stu asked.
"It would certainly improve your high school 'Q'." Randy said.
"Randy, you know Stu was with me." Amanda told Randy.
Stu kissed Amanda's shoulder, smirking "Yeah, I was."
"Was that before or after he sliced and diced?" Randy gritted his teeth.
Adrian shifted, uncomfortably.
"Fuck you, dickhead. Where were you last night?" Amanda asked Randy, glaring up at him.
"Working, thank you." Randy said, smirking at his sister.
"Oh, at the video store?" Jolene asked, rolling her eyes.
"I thought they fired your sorry ass?" Tatum asked.
"Twice." Randy said, smirking.
"I didn't kill anybody." Stu mumbled.
"Nobody said you did." Billy told Stu.
"Thanks, buddy." Stu told Billy.
"Besides, it takes a man to do something like that." Randy mocked Stu.
"Yeah, I outta gut your ass in a second, kid." Stu said.
"Tell me something. Did you really put her liver in the mailbox? Cause I heard that they found her liver in the mailbox next to her spleen and her pancreas." Randy said in a weird voice.
"Randy, you goon, fuck! I'm trying to eat here." Tatum said.
"She's getting mad, alright? You better 'liver' alone." Stu said.
Sidney left.
Stu laughed "'Liver' alone!"
Adrian and Billy hit Stu.
"Ow! Ow! 'Liver. Liver.' It was a joke." Stu whined.
Adrian grabbed her stuff "Asshole."
"Adrian, come on. I was joking." Stu said, pouting.ย
Jolene rolled her eyes at her older brother "You're joking? Have some fucking respect. Her mom died a year ago."

"I'LL TAKE YOU To work." Billy told Adrian.ย
"Thank you." Adrian said as the pair started walking to the diner.
Billy held Adrian's hand "I'm sorry about what Stu said."
"It's whatever." Adrian waved it off, biting her lip. He sighed "Adrian?"
"Yeah?" She asked.
"I kinda lost feelings for your sister." He muttered.
"Oh?" She questioned, tilting her head.
"I'm sorry, this may sound wrong and forced, but I kinda like you more." Billy said.
"Billy.." Adrian whispered, putting a strand of her hair behind her ear.
"It's okay if you don't want to. I understand." Billy replied, looking down at his feet.
"Can I think about it?" She asked, looking at her feet.
"Yeah, of course." He said, kissing her cheek. "Bye, Billy." Adrian waved.
"I'll come by later to take you home. Bye, Dri." Billy said, walking off.
Adrian sighed then walked into work.
