ADRIAN SIGHED AS She was doing her homework. Her phone rang.

"Hello?" She asked.

"Hey, it's me. Did you eat?" Roman questioned.

"No, I was stuck in drama." Adrian rolled her eyes.

"Do you want to grab dinner with me so we can talk?" Roman chuckled.

"I don't want Sidney seeing you, bubba." Adrian bit the inside of her cheek.

Roman rolled his eyes "Please? For me, your favorite brother?"

"Roman, you're my only brother.." Adrian smirked.

"Shut up." He chuckled.

Adrian checked her clock and said "Just let me get changed and meet me down the street."

"Alright, little sis. I'll be there in 15 minutes." Roman said, hanging up.

Adrian sighed and got dressed in something casual.

15 MINUTES Had passed. Adrian walked down the street to meet her half-brother.

Roman rolled down the window "Hey, sis."

"Hi, big brother." Adrian said as she got in the car.

"What are we thinking? Tacos? Burger King?" Roman asked as he started driving.

"I do want a burger if I'm being honest, bubba.." Adrian said, looking at him.

He chuckled, shaking his head.

Adrian looked over to see Billy Loomis climbing through Sidney's window "Ew."

"Who's that?" Roman pestered, looking at the guy then Adrian.

"Billy Loomis, Sidney's boyfriend of a year. I don't trust him." Adrian answered, truthfully.

"Why's that?" Roman asked, pulling into Burger King.

"Because all guys want is sex." She said, crossing her arms.

He put his hand on his chest "I am offended."

"What about you and Jennifer Jolie?" She asked, crossing her arms.

"That's different." Roman told her.

"How so?" She asked, raising a brow.

"I mean she's hot, but she's not my type." Roman said, pulling into the drive thru.

"Wow, Roman. You have a type?" Adrian laughed.

"Oh, ha ha. What do you want to eat?" Roman asked, looking at his youngest sister.

"Whatever you're getting." Adrian replied.

AFTER THE SIBLINGS Got their food they sat in the parking lot.

"When will you come back?" Adrian asked.

"I don't know, kid. Hopefully soon." Roman answered honestly.

"You're a lot nicer to me than Sidney is. She always was the golden child who did no wrong." Adrian frowned.

Roman linked his pinky with hers then kissed his thumb.

She returned the gesture "Thank you, Bubba."

"Like I said, if you ever need me, call me." Roman told her.

After the two finished eating Roman drove Adrian home.

Adrian leaned over and hugged Roman "I love you so much."

Roman hugged back "I love you, too, okay?"

She nodded and smiled softly "Will I ever see you again?"

"Soon, I promise." Roman linked his pinky with hers then kissed his thumb.

She returned the gesture then went inside and to bed.
