The inky hues of the night sky were filled with moving clouds, as if an acrylic painting dotted with cotton candy. The breezy wind knocked through branches making their chatter match with its rhythm. All of them together presented a scenic view through a huge window, where a beautiful girl sat on her easy chair looking outside. Adoring a charming smile as she rekindled her memory lane. Just as these monsoon clouds, years passed in pace of breeze and the most cherished years of her life in her acting journey. Seven years in this field of her passion was and is always going to be an adventurous journey. A journey which started with dim lights playing a cameo role Laavanya, later rose to fame as Naina. As they say, the most precious gift comes at the most unexpected time. Her eyes twinkled as she thought about the time she got selected to play the role of Naina Agarwal, her lucky mascot which opened the doors of her dreams.

As if the victory of grabbing her first show was not enough, she got to know that the male lead was going to be played by the Randeep Rai. This news was absolutely cherry on the cake. The hero of her previous show, a name which filled her with an unknow excitement. She chuckled as she remembered him. Ashi Singh's journey will always be incomplete without talking about him. Well, talking about Ashdeep's journey is no lesser than a roller coaster ride.

Apart from being the show's hero, she had unknowingly claimed him as her hero. Apparently, something which initially seemed to be a cold shell was actually filled with warmth but the constant ping of her phone, brought her out of her dream land. This show had gifted her numerous things and one of the most treasured one will be her lovely fans. The unconditional love and support they showered was always overwhelming. She picked it up and opened her Instagram where she was being wished with loads of birthday wishes and blessings. She scrolled through the app, liking some posts here and there with a never-ending smile. Not only Naina but they stood beside her in all her roles and ventures. She will always be grateful for their support which they conferred while she was playing Yasmine, being a warrior princess on-screen as well as off-screen. Facing all the negativity, she still managed to give her flawless performance, winning many hearts towards the end of her role. She was indeed blessed to have them all.

Sliding to her home page made her jerk as she noticed someone's story. The one who remains active on insta once in a blue moon. Without giving an after thought she clicked it, which revealed the most handsome man bringing an instant smile on her face. His messy hair falling on his forehead, almost covering his eyes, but this time he didn't have her favourite smile rather his lips were pursed and eyes had a lost look. Thats when she realised the music playing along with it, the soft tunes of the song- Galliyan.

She smirked. Mr Rai never failed to remain a mystery man, but never mind she has also learned to play along, she quickly set her hair and clicked a picture with a playful smirk and posted it adding a song- Aaoge Jab Tum.

She bit a lips as she noticed they both were wearing a plain yellow sweat shirt. No wonder fans have named them as a Coincidence Couple. Are they really a couple?

"Saari baatein kehna zaruri nahi hota, kuch baatein bina kahe bhi samajh jana chahiye." She declared aloud and the very next moment, hit her forehead for her silly thoughts.

Being actors, they both had learnt to mask their feelings well. Though her hero already had her hint about her feelings and he is the who realised them late. But, since the moment he did, he never failed to make moves, giving silly reasons to talk and gave lot of hints. But she had decided, this time he will have to open up his heart. Till then, she can play along their antaksari game.

She blushed thinking about it, before finally getting a hold on her horses of imagination. She checked her story seen list and immediately clicked his ID, checking if he has posted something in response or not, but much to her dismay there was nothing. Out of nowhere she thought, "Does he even remember my birthday? Or did he forget?"

"How could he forget your birthday silly girl, ofourse he would wish you like every year" Her heart reverted back to her absurd thoughts.

Lost in her musings, she almost jumped when the much awaited ID flashed on her screen, but this time not as a story but a call. Nervousness took over all her other emotions which made her curse herself "Kya zarurat thi story post karne ki, ab Randeep kuch puchega to kya bolegi?"

'Wahi bolna jo sach hai, aur kab tak door bhagoge tum dono? Aaj nahi to kal bolna hi hai to aaj bolde." Her heart countered.

"Nahi, tu nahi bolegi. Agar wo bura maan gaya to? Nahi nahi, tu nahi bol sakti, pehele wahi bolega agar use bolna hoga toh." Her mind warned.

"Lekin isme bura manne wali kya baat hai, hume to pata hai hum kya chahte hain, fir koi bhi bole, baat to ek hi hai. Aur kaam ne thodi na pata hai, ki use karne wala chhori se ya chhora" Her love sick heart reminded her of her new character Meet's statement, whereas her mind retorted back, "Propose karna kaam ke category mein nahi aata."

"Wait! When did I say propose? Is he going propose me?" This time her heart skipped a few beats, and she clutched her head, stuck between the debate of her heart and mind which was driving her crazy.

The phone rang again, jolting her out of her thoughts, and this time she attended it hesitantly and his voice boomed "Hey! Ashi, did I distrub you?"

"Nah... no, not at all... main free hu kabhi bhi, I mean..." She stuttered, slapping her head mentally.

"Nervous ho rahi ho? Well, you don't need to, I am your good old co-star aur ab to hum dost bhi hain" He chuckled.

"Nahi wo.. main.. bas aise hi. Tum batao kyu call kiya?" She tried digressing the topic.

It was his turn to go quiet. She looked back at the phone when he didn't speak, "Hello, Randeep? Are you there?"

"Haan, wo mujhe kuch kehna hai." His voice was low.

She felt her heartbeats rising, "Haan? Bolo?"

"Aa... wo... main, Ashi kya tum niche aa sakti ho? Main gate ke pass khada hu." He asked in one go.

"What? Tum yahan kya kar rahe ho?" She stood up in shock.

"Tum pehle aao fir batata hu." He immediately cut the call and she sprinted downstairs, puzzled at his sudden visit and spotted his car outside the gate.

He waved at her with a careless smile. She walked towards him with a glare and complained "Yahan kyu aaye bina bataye aur aisi kya zaruri baat hai jo adhi raat ko aaye ho?"

"Kya yaar, main to Ashi se milne aaya tha, lekin tumne to aate hi Naina Devi ke darshan de diye" He sulked, making her smile, "Acha batao, kya baat karni hai?" She asked, looking around, not wanting to be spotted by anyone.

He opened the door of her car, asking her to get in, she narrowed her eyes and got in. He started the car, not bothered to answer her questions.
She swatted his arms frustrated with his silence, "Randeep batao na kya hai, dekho birthday girl ko aise pareshaan nahi karte."

"Main kya batau? Tum to sab janti ho na." Yet again, she got his smirk without any answer to her question.

Though she knew where his talks are leading to, she chose to play ignorant, "Nahi, main nahi janti, tum batao... koi special surprise hai kya?"

"Hmm... haan tumhara special day ho, to special surprise to banta hai na." He finally replied.

"Kya baat hai heroji, aaj itni meharbani kaise ho rahi hai mujhpe? Pehle to kabhi nahi diya koi special surprise." She crossed her arms.

He stopped the car and looked at her, very well knowing her game, "Aur kitna tadpaogi Ashi..."

Her heart jumped at his intense gaze, but her mind was adamant not to give in. He had made her wait for a long time during the show, now it was her turn. Why did he have to take so long to realise, now she will make him wait till he takes a step ahead from giving hints to each other.

She replied getting a grip on her control, "Maine kya kiya hai? Tum pata nahi kya kya sochte rehte ho."

He removed his seat belt and placed his hand on her headrest, "To tum nahi janti mai kya sochta hu?" He asked, grinning at her wide eyes as he leaned ahead.

"Tum... ye tum kya kar rahe ho..." She shrinked back, trying to create distance which was reducing as he kept on leaning forward.

"Tum pehle batao na, sach mein nahi janti mai kya kya sochta hu?" His voice was hoarse. Her heartbeats skyrocketed, what was he trying to do, "Bolo na Ashi, sach mein tum nahi janti itne dino se main kya bolne ki koshish kar raha hu?" He tilted her chin to make her look into his eyes.

She managed to nod her head, being captive under his gaze. Her mind going blank. He tucked a lone strand behind her ear, "Sameer Naina ka kirdar nibhate nibhate mujhe pata hi nahi chala kab Randeep tum mein Naina ki jagah Ashi ko dekhne laga. Pata hi nahi chala kab tum meri co-actor se special  dost ban gayi, kab main Naina ki aankhein padhte padhte, usme Ashi ko dundne laga. Ye duri aur bardash nahi hoti Ashi. Ye jo tumhari ankhon mein hai, aaj use zubaan pe aane do. Aaj Sameer Naina nahi, Randeep apni Maina se kehna chata hai ki tum iss dil ki dhadkan ho Ashi." He placed her hand on his heart which was beating wildly.

Eyes locked with each other, they finally let down their guards of keeping their love hidden in their heart. He whispered, mesmerized by the love shining in her caramel orbs, "I love you Ashi..."

She was not sure whether her heart was still there or had jumped out in happiness, all she could see was her own reflection in his dark orbs, and she murmured, "I love you too"

Her lashes covered her eyes turning away to hide her flushed face. And a glistening ring shone on her finger which was on his heart. When did he put this? She turned back, all surprised, and he winked pulling her in a tight hug, whispering her a Happy Birthday.

Suddenly, their personal moment was interrupted by a hard nudge but she ignored it and out of nowhere a clod splash of water jolted her back. She woke up, gasping out of breath and found herself in her own room. Her sister jumped up on her screaming a happy birthday.

She looked at the window sill where she was sitting last night, and then looked at her ring finger. It did have a mark of a ring being put there.

Did he? Did he really come?

Hello dear YUDKBHians. We, at FamiliaDeYUDKBH know that this birthday chapter for Ashi was very different from what we post for other actors, but we really wanted to do something different for the Super Six, so decided to fo this way.

Also, we are well aware that Ashi exists as an individual and that, Ashdeep alone can never justify Ashi's super amazing talent and personality and that her individual presence means more. But, we just wanted to put forward our share of love for Ashdeep in this update, but that really doesn't mean that Ashi alone does not deserve the irrevocable love we have for her.

We feel immensely pleasured to have such an idol in the form of Ashi, who has shown her versatility and her strength everytime she came forward on screen or on social media. Today, we at FamiliaDeYUDKBH  extend out heartfelt love and wishes to her on her birthday and promise her a forever loyal fandom.
