20th April, Close to Midnight.

Having finally completed the lesson she was studying, Issabella switched off the lights and lied down on her bed tired and frustrated. It was her birthday the next day but her ongoing internals and endless sea of assignments meant she had no time to celebrate her birthday at all!

"Birthday ke din toh chod dete!" She whined, when her mind sarcastically replied, "Haan haan! Tu koi mahaan hasti hain na ki tere birthday pe holiday mil jaye!"

She pouted in annoyance and turned to the other side and that's when she heard her phone vibrate with a notification.

"Birthday wish hogi!" She said and excitedly picked her phone up.

What she saw on the screen left her surprised! It was a pop-up notification which read -

Surprised and excited, she clicked on the blue button which said click to enter, and the next second, the text read, Welcome to the Party!

She saw the miniature version of herself, dressed in a royal blue gown, her hair left open and slightly curled at the ends.

She walked along the long corridor, curious to know what lay at the other side as she knew it was for her birthday. On the way, she found three notes placed on the floor. Picking them one by one, she started reading them, and smile didn't leave her face when she found her community friends wishing her.

She thanked them silently and wiped the slight tears that took their place in her eyes. Shaking her head, she soon reached the other end of the passage only to be left astonished at the magnificent sight infront of her eyes.

There, in all its grandeur stood an ancient palace, well decorated. It's ancient architecture adding to its magnanimous aura.

The gates opened by itself and she entered inside. She was about to move forward, when a piece of paper pasted on the gate caught her attention. She carefully took that piece in her hands and what laid inside, brought another wave of smile on her face.

Before she could think about the wishes, she heard something, which caught her complete attention.

Chan chan, Chan chan!

The sound of anklets echoed in the silence of the palace, drawing her to the spot. It was completely dark at that place.

"Inn aankho ki masti ke

A screen dropped down even as the evergreen song played, showing the eternal beauty Rekhaji in her Umrao Jaan attires. Issabella looked on in awe at her favourite actress, feeling soothed by the melody playing in the background.

Lost completely in enjoying this timeless melody, a light shawl landing on her shoulder brought her out of it. She picked it up curiously.

It was a picture of Rekha along with her autograph! This made Issabella smile one of her widest smiles. She held it to her chest very glad to have got it.

The cool breeze pushing her hair back indicated her of her next destination. But before she could take another step, another note fell near her feet and she knew this time, what would be inside.

Another wish, another smile, another reason to adore this family. She then moved forward and walked in to see a huge Blackforest Cake placed on a table. The entire place was decorated, illuminated by moonlike lighting, giving it a heavenly look.

Beside the cake, she even found a note placed on the table with a birthday wish in Nepali.

Before she could react, Psr1403 and RRao_13 came from behind.

"Wishing you a very Happy Birthday Di! Tapaailai jeevanama sabai khushi prapta hos!Love you loads." Pratyusha wished, hugging Issabella from one side, when Raksha joined from the other, "Happiest Birthday Issabella Di or Issuuu di!!😂❤ I hope you enjoy your day and achieve whatever you wish for.❤😊"

"Dhanyabad! Thank you so much guys!" Issabella had tears in her eyes, which were wiped off by pahul_gpk as she came from behind.

"Arey arey, aaj ke din thodi. I know exam stress bohot hai, par iska matlab ye thodi ki birthday ke din rona hai." With this, she took Issabella in a tight hug and passed on her side of wishes.

It was then that mahi2325 came with some gift boxes in her hand, "Wish you a very happy birthday Issabella dii, may this birthday bring abundance of joy, good health, lots of sweet memories, and fulfill all your dreams. Enjoy your special day to the fullest. Always keep smiling.🎂🍫🎉"

She told Issabella to open all the gift boxes, and when she did so, the first box had inside a football with her favourite footballer, Lionel Messi's autograph.

With the ball, was another note.

HAPPIEST BIRTHDAY ISSUUUUU DIIIII! Thank you so much for always supporting, inspiring and helping me through difficult situations. Even in this very short span of time it feels like even one day without talking to you and NAIVUUU feels so sad. I wish you have a wonderful year ahead and a great day today.

She was beyond happy seeing all of the preparations and had tears in her eyes. It was then that all the friends finally appeared together for the cake cutting ceremony. Just as she was about to cut the cake, a voice stopped them.

"Yeh kya? Matlab mujhe Canada se aana tha, maana late ho gaya, iska matlab ye thodi ki mere bina hi cake cut jayega."

It was none other than Nandini_001 who rushed towards Issabella to give her yet another tight hug and showered her with her wishes.

"Oh my God! What was that?" Issabella frowned confusingly when she heard another whisper.

"Magic Di! Something you claimed to be illusion, we showed you it's truly magic."

The screen then illuminated with notifications on the birthday channel, with everyone wishing Issabella a happy birthday!
