"Cutt!"
A loud voice echoed in the surroundings of the sets of Yeh Un Dino Ki Baat Hai. Giving his last shot, Sanjay moved towards his vanity van to change his outfit. It was 7 in the evening. While changing, he was lost in some wavered thoughts. Today was his birthday, everyone wished him but what he had not expected was no call or message from the other five of the super six. Indeed, they had become the super six in real life too, while being the super six in the show.

While he was all lost in his own musings, he got a call from his wife, asking about his whereabouts. He simply replied that he would be home within an hour and started winding up everything in his green room. As he sat back in the car and started moving on his way back home, he went back to the thoughts which had invaded his mind earlier. He would have believed that they would be giving him a surprise if they would have been here. But, since all the five were out of Mumbai because of some or the other work, it was impossible. So, he could simply make out that they all forgot his birthday.

Though all his fans had made his day worth being ecstatic, but those who could bring a real smile on his face were missing. Still occupied with the thoughts of his closest friends, he reached his home. After a small celebration with the family, they had a special dinner made by his wife and by the time everyone was asleep, it was already 11.

Everyone was asleep, but he could not. Still expecting a call or a mere message from them, the very people who had taught him the real meaning of friendship, but do true friends forget each other's birthdays? He was dejected as his birthday would be ending in less than an hour and there was still no sign of his friends. He didn't realise when tiredness took over him and he slept on the couch itself while watching the vms and edits made by his fans.

"Happy Birthdayyyy!!"
Sanjay jerked his eyes open and sat suddenly due to extreme loud voices around him. He blinked his eyes to get back in his zone and looked at his surroundings. His eyes widened as he saw some people around him, wearing black masks. He was about to shout aloud, thinking that some thieves had invaded his house, but before he could, the faces behind the masks were revealed to be Randeep, Ashi, Raghav, Ayesha and Kristina.

He stood up from the couch, still in a daze, and before he could think of anything, engulfed in a group hug by his five friends. It was only after a few minutes that they left him, only to find Sanjay all speechless, still in shock.

Randeep patted his back teasingly, "Abey yaar chal.. aise bhoot wali shakal baad mein banana, pee cake kaat'te hain, sirf paanch minute bache hain."

His words made Sanjay shake his head and come out of his shock and he asked, "Tum log yaha kaise? Matlab.. tum sab.. tum sab to Mumbai mein nahi the naa."

Ashi facepalmed herself and pulled her towards the table, "Arey, ye sab batate hain par pehle cake cut kar na."

"Haan yaar chenu, pehle pet pooja phir kaam duja." Raghav's response made everyone chuckle, while rolling her eyes, Ayesha opened the box of the cake infront of him, while his wife too came out of the room with a smile, holding their daughter in her arms.

So much so he wanted to get all his answers first, but he decided to keep them on hold, and smiling at his daughter, he took her in his arms from his wife, and blew the candles with her. As he cut the beautiful cake, the other five of the group beamed at him, as they along with his wife sang the famous happy birthday song. After cutting the cake and feeding it to everyone, all of them were seated on the couch enjoying the food, which they had brought along with them.

Finding his patience going off the track, Sanjay cleared his throat gaining the attention of everyone. His wife smiled at the five friends, picked up her sleeping daughter and took her inside the room to give some privacy to the group. As everyone kept looking at him calmly, Sanjay asked impatiently, "Yaar ab to bata do, kab se khaaye jaa rahe ho."

Ayesha shrugged and continued eating, "Kya batayein" to which everyone laughed, irritating Sanjay even more.

This time, it was Kristina who said, "Acha baba, aur pareshaan nahi karte tujhe. Chal Raghav, shuru ho ja."

And then Raghav started explaining, "Hum sabne kal plan kia ki tujhe birthday wish nahi karenge aur kyuki hum Mumbai mein bhi nahi the to tujhe shak bhi nahi hota ki hum kuch plan karne wale hain. Humne plan kia tha ki direct tere ghar aake wish karenge aur hum to 8 baje hi aane wale the, par ye hai na Ashi, iski flight late ho gayi."

Before he could say anything further, Randeep interrupted, "Ashi ne to kaha tha ki hum log chale jaaye..."

But before he could continue, Ayesha said in a teasing tone, "Haan par Baba kahan bina Maina ke aane waale the, phir birthday Sanjay ka hi kyon na ho."

Ashi immediately got defensive, "Aisa kuch nahi hai, use sirf meri chinta ho rahi thi."

Hearing her reply, everyone laughed aloud, leaving Ashdeep blushing.

After their laughter subsided, Kristina continued, "Aur bhabhi ko to humne pehle hi bata diya tha to jab hum yahan aaye to unhone gate already khula rakha tha."

Sanjay couldn't help, but smile at his friends, "Thank you so much guys. Late hi sahi, par tum logo ne mera birthday itna special banaya."

Trying to lighten the situation, Raghav teasingly replied, "Chalo tujhe yaad to aaya ki thankyou jesa koi shabd bhi hota hai.''

Everyone burst into laughter and then they made him open the giant gift that they had brought with them. Looking at the size of the gift, Sanjay excitedly opened it, only to reveal a big beautiful caricature of Sanjay with his wife and daughter.

Seeing the gift he got emotional, but before he could say a thank you, Randeep and Raghav jumped on him and continued their banter all night, clicking pictures, making reels and pulling each other's legs.

They didn't realise how the time passed, and once everyone left, Sanjay thought to himself, that indeed none of them could ever forget him or his birthday. They had a heart connection, which could never be broken.

When we all started watching Yeh Un Dino Ki Baat Hai, never had we thought that this young boy playing with a paper and a stick on screen, ogling over his teacher, would steal our hearts in such a manner that the word Friendship would, for us, start with his name, and end at his name. We didn't realise, kab Munna ko pyaar karte karte hum Sanjay se pyaar kar baithe. And today, we all at FamiliaDeYUDKBH  extend our gratitude to him for taking this role of Munna and blessing us with an idol as magnanimous as him.

“May a smile always be kept intact on your face,
May all the positivity come in your fate,
May you achieve enormous heights,
May wiseness in your behavior always stay bright,

May you keep flying high till the end of your eternity.”
