Dona was frustratingly walking here and there in her room with impatience completely laced on her face. Tired of walking for almost fifteen minutes, she finally sat on her bed with a thud, "Hadd ho gayi yaar! It's already 12.15 aur kisi ne abhi tak mujhe wish bhi nahi kiya. No one loves me and no one remembers that it's my birthday. Kal Navya ka birthday to itne ache se celebrate kiya, aur mera kya? Sab bhul gaye mujhe."

She kept on sitting there irritatingly when at 12.30 she finally decided to go and confront her parents. She tip toed towards her parents' room, but suddenly got attentive as she heard some sounds coming from the living room. With a thumping heart and sweat drops falling down her forehead, she reached the living room but was left completely bewildered as infront of her, stood Nanaji with a grand cake in his hands and the living room decorated with red and white balloons.

She kept on blinking her eyes, trying to adjust them which showed something which she had never expected. She was about to move forward, when someone suddenly closed her eyes from behind and the first wish of her birthday fell in her ears from her bestfriend on Wattpad, RRao_13, "It's not been so long that we have talked but I guess we have become good friends. I hope that you get whatever you wish for in your life.May God bless you with happiness. Happiest Birthday Dona❤️ Enjoy your day🥳"

Dona excitedly turned around to hug Raksha who reciprocated it with equal affection. Ecstatic at finally getting a surprise, she turned around again, but got a sudden jolt when both, Nanu and the cake were absent. She started looking here and there to see if it was some prank, but it all vent in vain when she got a text from Psr1403, "Wishing you a very happy b'day Dona. I wish ki tumhari jo bhi wishes hain woh saari poori ho. May you achieve whatever you want to.❤️ We are really sorry Dona, hum log aa nahi paye. Actually, kal Navya ka birthday celebrate kar ke we all got so tired that we couldn't bring ourselves for another surprise. Hope you don't mind."

The bright smile which had come up on her face with Pratyusha's wish suddenly got disappeared by the end of her message. "Ye sab Navya ki wajah se ho raha hai. Uska birthday itna special aur mere birthday par kuch bhi nahi. Humara birthday aage piche hona hi nahi chahiye tha."

With this, she stomped her foot and left towards her room annoyingly, while Raksha kept on giggling from behind, thinking about the shock Dona would be getting in the morning.

As the sun rose for the next day, Dona got up from her slumber, only to see Raksha getting ready infront of the mirror. She then checked her mobile which showed a text from her favourite Ashdeep writer jalpaa2199, "Happy birthday to you Dona. You're such a sweet soul who always appreciates me. I wish you get all the happiness in your life which you deserve. God bless you dude!"

A bright smile came on her lips as she read the text. It was then that Raksha said, "Chalo madam! Ready ho jao jaldi se, main kahi leke jana chahti hu tujhe. Baaki sab to kal ke baad itna thak gaye that they didn't feel like coming today. Hum dono to celebrate kar hi sakte hain."

Dona nodded her head unwillingly as she felt disheartened at the lack of attention from her friends. Her birthday was supposed to be special, but no one cared for it. She half heartedly dragged herself towards the washroom. Just as she reached inside, she saw a box infront of the mirror. She opened the box excitedly, finally getting some hopes for a surprise and as expected, she found a beautiful blue dress inside.

She was about to close the box when her gaze fell upon a note kept inside the box which said,

She giggled reading her favourite dialogue from Om Shanti Om and enthusiastically started getting ready. As soon as she came out and went towards the breakfast table, she was expecting her next surprise, but the next sentence from Raksha broke the hopes that had surfaced because she said, "You look so beautiful Dona. Meri choice to hai hi bohot achi. Ab aur kuch na sahi, ye chhota sa surprise to main de hi sakti thi na. So, how's it?"

Dona just gave a small smile as a reply and ate as little as possible because both her mood and diet had died. Raksha pursed her lips to control her laughter after looking at her condition. Within next few minutes, Dona and her family along with Raksha had their breakfast and then all of them headed towards their destination. On the way, Dona received another text which was from AngelineDsouza_7, "Wishing you a very happy birthday Dona. May God bless you with lots of love and happiness in the world, all you deserve. ❤❤
Have a wonderful year ahead!"

She was about to reply to her when the next text popped up from her favourite reader on Wattpad, shreya363.

"Wish karna sabko yaad hai but no one could come or atleast call me to make me feel special." Dona said to herself, and replied to both Angeline and Shreya.

Within next few minutes, Dona and Raksha along with Dona's family reached their destination. The moment Dona got out from the car and moved her gaze, her eyes widened at the sight. They were standing infront of KANCHIKORA- THE CELEBRATION RESTAURANT.

They all were about to move forward, when she saw a small kid singing her favourite song.

She was drawn towards the voice and the moment she reached their, the kid stopped singing and coming towards her, handed her a small note which said, "Happy b'day Dona! May god bless you with lots of love and success! You're a really sweet and a lovable person! May you get everything you want from life. Stay healthy and party hard! Have a magnificent day!🎂🎂🎉🎉😍😍😘

Before she could ask anything from the kid, she recieved another Wattpad dm from yet another favourite author of hers, _yesha_jain_.

She smiled widely, a little hopeful for a better day, and that's when Raksha pulled her back towards the gate of the restaurant. As they reached there, her eyes widened as saucers as she saw bhsh22 coming there with Nanaji. Her eyes turned misty as she saw her favourite character from the show infront of her. As Shreeti Di came forward with her set of wishes, "Happy birthday Dona. Wishing you a day full of surprises and happiness. May all your dreams come true have a great day and wonderful year. God bless you.", Nanaji kept his hand over her head and presented her with a book she really wanted to read.

She squealed in delight and that's when another pair of hands landed on her shoulders and she heard naivedya_2004, "Happiest Birthday to you Dona. Wish you a very happy and a joyful year ahead. Stay happy always and enjoy your day.❤️❤️"

Finally exuberance took place on Dona's face and all of them cheerfully went inside where the garden area was completely booked for Dona's birthday celebrations. As they reached inside, Dona was overwhelmed to see all the decorations in the combinations of dark blue and black and in the centre, a huge screen was displayed. She wondered what was it for, but shrugging her thoughts, she again started looking here and there when suddenly two balloons burst out loud and  aakritisinghh02  suddenly jumped out from behind the table, making Dona step back in fear. Chuckles surrounded her when she got a tight hug from Anushka, "HAPPY BIRTHDAY MISS DONA🎉🎉🎉💐🎂🎁 I hope your special day brings you lots of happiness, love and fun.☺️❤️ You deserve them all a lot.💕"

Then all of them together took her towards a table kept just infront of the screen. She was waiting eagerly for her next surprise when she heard a voice coming from behind. "Congratulations on your new age. I wish you a lifetime of peace, love and happiness and wishe you a wonderful birthday celebration. May happiness be yours on your special day and on all the days of your life.❤️❤️" Dona turned around to see ajmera_navya coming forward with gift wrapped item in her hand.

Dona suddenly felt guilty of the curses she spoke for Navya during the day. Navya cutely pulled her cheeks and said, "I know what you are thinking, but zyada guilty feel karne ki zarurat nahi hai because that's what we wanted, for you to think that meri wajah se no one surprised you." Saying that, she herself giggled before continuing, "Since kal ek chhota sa gift mujhe FamiliaDeYUDKBH  se mila tha, kuch vaisa hi aaj tumhare liye lai hu." With that, Navya presented before her a frame similar to the one she got yesterday.

"Lo madam, ab tumhari books par bhi tumhare favourite author Chetan Bhagat ki kripa barsegi." vansika2233 came forward to hug Dona and further said, "A VERY HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO YOU DONA❤️❤️ MAY ALL YOUR WISHES GET FULFILLED TODAY AND EVERY OTHER DAY✨ ENJOY AND KEEP SMILING.💫"

Dona felt herself surrounded with utmost love and belongingness, but something felt missing. There was something which could have made her even happier and for her, pahul_gpk had taken up the responsibility. She came forward and started doing something with the huge screen. Dona looked at her confusingly and then said, "Oh hello! Birthday wishes nahi deni kya mujhe?"

Pahul turned towards her and said, "Maine ek wish se kuch zyada special kiya hai Miss Bengali Taiji. Here you go."

The moment Pahul ended her sentence with a wink, there on the screen came Randeep and Ashi, or precisely Ashdeep sitting in 'Apna Ghar'. Dona could feel her mind getting blank and her heartbeats rising as she saw Randeep sitting with his arm around Ashi's neck. 

Ashdeep laughed looking at her along with the wide open mouths of others and then Randeep casually said, "Ab apni itni crazy fan ke birthday par itna to kar hi sakte hain."

Before anyone could ask anything, Khamoshdil  came from behind with the same cake in her hand which Dona had seen in her illusion at night. As Khushboo Di placed the cake on the table, she smilingly wished Dona, "I wish you a day filled with laughter, love and a lot of fun times. Happy birthday to you! Turning 18 is awesome. Do whatever you want. Happy birthday once again."

Dona smiled through her misty eyes as she looked all around. All her Wattpad buddies standing there surrounded by beautiful decorations and amongst all, the most special was the presence of Nanaji with Ashdeep.

Without any further delays, all of them started singing the birthday song for her and she cut the cake with full enthusiasm. After feeding the cake to her parents, she straight away went towards Nanaji and in her innocent voice, sweetly asked him, "Aaj birthday hai mera, kya aapse kuch maang sakti hu?"

Everybody looked at her confusingly when Nanu nodded his head in affirmation and she confidently said, "To fir aap apne ye onscreen naati se kahiye na ki ab apna aur Ashi ka relationship official karde. Thak gaye hain hum bhi wait kar kar ke."

Everyone looked at her with widened eyes and Ashdeep could feel themselves drowning into the pool of shyness. Nanaji laughed at Dona's innocent request and turning towards the screen confidently said, "Chalo bhai barkhuddaar, ab birthday girl ki farmaish hai to kar do puri. Aaj sabke samne kar hi do apni Maina ko propose aur kardo relationship official."

All the people present there turned their gaze towards the screen and the sight left them bewildered as they saw Ashi hiding herself in Randeep's embrace in shyness. This made everyone hold onto their breaths as they awaited for the most special moment, not just for Ashdeep, but for themselves as well.

And in the next second, everyone could see Randeep leaving her and kneeling down infront of her with the same ring in his hand which Sameer had engaged Naina with. As much as everyone captured the moment in their eyes, the cameras also started rolling and within seconds the Internet went on fire that “Ashdeep made their relationship official in the birthday party of their very dear fan and that to on the request of the birthday girl.”

Laughters, claps and hootings did not stop as everybody celebrated not just one, but two special moments and the very day on which our Dona was born, marked a new beginning in the lives of those whom she considered as her idols.
