Theatre has been one of the most popular forms of entertainment, since the Greeks. It is a combination of various forms of fine arts that is used by the artists to potray before the live audiences about a scripted story, real-life
experiences and many more. World Theatre Day is celebrated annually on March 27th. It is celebrated to raise the importance of theatre arts, how they played an important role in the field of entertainment, and the changes that theatre brings in life.

World Theatre Day was initiated in 1961 by the International Theatre Institute (ITI) . World Theatre Day Message was written by Jean Cocteau in 1962 at Theatre of Nations season in Paris. Since then, this day has been celebrated every year on 27th March.
