"And you've been gone for three whole days because you wanted to make sure that you had your shifting under control so you won't hurt me?"

"Yes again, baby."

"You gave up being the alpha for me, you hate Sam and Emily for the Leah thingy, Angela and Jessica knew about where you were and what was happening all along because they're imprints as well and were given atleats 101 reasons to not tell me by Sam?"

"That sounds just about right, darling."

Avery stares at her boyfriend, her lips pursed. She believes him, she knew of the stories, Dakota told her and so did Billy since he considers her family.

Therefore he was more than okay with letting Avery know the stories. And she is so elated for that fact.

She wasn't mad at Angela nor Jessica, it wasn't their secret to tell. And she's truly thankful for them always being there for her, shutting down every negative thing she had to say when she thought that it was her fault that Dakota was gone. The two had done their best to drill into her head that she wasn't at fault as she had truly needed that.

All she could think about then was what she did wrong. Wondering if it was her or if he had gotten tired of her body and went for someone skinny, someone thin.

But she infact didn't do shit at all, they're good. He didn't get tired of her body and ditched her from someone else nor was he even trying to avoid her.

The Leah, Sam and Emily information is crazy to her and she didn't understand anyone in that situation but Leah. Poor thing is going through it as her so called cousin and her ex are living happily.

Well, she's always been on Leah's side, even before she knew of the wolf thing, now she's even more on her side. She's never liked Sam and Emily. Even when Sam and Leah were still together before he shifted, she didn't like him. Thinking that Leah was too good for him as he'd sometimes act like his relationship with the girl was tiring.

Like he was bored of it and also her but he had never said anything about it. He was just weird in Avery's eyes. But she's hoping that Leah will find someone alot better in the future or now. Because Sam and Emily had got together not even less than two weeks after he'd broken up with Leah.

It's more worse when she now knows how the imprint works.

And while she was deep in thought, her boyfriend was worried that she's trying to come to term with all he said.

Would she leave him? He really hopes not. He watches as her eyes squint, her lips parting slightly.

"I know this is alot-," he starts to say and was cut off by his girlfriend. "Okay, can we have sex now?" She asks the male as he blinks. That's it? No freak out and any of the sort? "Yes," he says lowly. "But just one more thing." He adds, surprised at how great she took the news.

Waa it because she already knew of all the stories? Well he isn't complaning as she doesn't want to break up with him, she's not scared neither and it's a win for him.

His girlfriend tilts her head as she waits for the one more thing, eager to have his 'thing' in her.

Maybe I am a sex addict, she thinks but she didn't care about it honestly. It's not like Dakota isn't one too when it came to her.

And she's right about that. He's utterly addicted to her in more ways than one which is why he's struggling to focus at the moment. But the faster he gets this overwith, the faster he gets to put them both out of their misery.

"Baby, is it okay if I ask you to stay away from the Cullens?" He asks softly while cupping her cheek gently. He will never force her to do something that she didn't want too. He was asking because maybe she was cool with one of the Cullens, not that he'd freak out. Well he'd be just abit more protective over her until he's able to fully trust whatever Cullen it is.

But forcing or demanding her to do any damn thing was a no in his books.

If she's friends with them or a few of the family, that's fine. He will just make sure that Avery's safe. "I do that already, they feel like death." His girlfriend replies as her face scrunches up. She didn't like the Cullen's, she rathers staying as hell from her.

Her heart did melt into her chest when he had asked her instead of demanding her. She's used to him doing things like this honestly and it makes her only fall deeper and deeper in love with him. He never demanded she do something, even the times when she was having a battle with food during her hospital stay and a bit after it. But he would do his best to help her and make sure that she eats.

Dakota frowns at her words as worry bubbles up within him. "They feel like death?" He asks softly, making sure he heard her right. He's never heard of a thing before. Was that a good thing or was it a bad thing?

Well it's keeping her from them so it's probably a good thing but he feels like something is off. How could she feel it? Should they talk to someone? If so, who the hell should they talk too? "Mhm and sometimes I feel like someone is trying to get into my head or like toy with my emotions?" Avery adds with a frown on her lips, making the male jaw clench in anger. He faintly remembers Jared say something about gifts and now hearing this, he puts two and two together. She was being targeted by the Cullen's gifts.

Were they trying to figure out why she was able to deflect their gifts or was it something else? "Being near them give me headaches for some reasons and I'm extra alert." His girlfriend continues as she bit down on her bottom lip. What is happening with her?

Normally, Dakota would jump her when she bit down on her bottom lip or want to do so but right now, the two have an very important situation on their hands.

"That's interesting," he mumbles. "Very, I'm not sure what's happening with me but maybe we can ask my dad and aunt about it?" Avery says softly as her eyes met her boyfriend's own.

The male sighs softly but nods his head. That was a good idea and he really does hope that they'd have an answer and a solution. For the headaches of course.

"Okay, sex now. My dad is still at work at the station and won't be back til 8 or 9, and Aunt Cora is working at the diner for a few hours." Avery says making the male snort lowly as he smirks.

She's sure more blunt with her needs when depraved of it for a bit. Of course he's just knowing that because he has never depraved her of anything until that shit.

"Yes ma'am," he breathes out as his lips met her own in deep, passionate kiss that she instantly returned. He didn't know if the tingly he felt whenever the two touched was because he was a wolf and she's his imprint, he'll have to ask Jared and Paul later.

Sitting inside his office was Aiyden Milo Bennett, the father of Avery, one of the best police officers on the force and the head of the Bennett coven.

The Bennett family are power witches/ warlocks. He's one obviously, so is his younger sister, Cora. Their cove- family is the most powerful witch family in the world. Aiyden has been the head of the coven for a few years now. They weren't immortal even though they could be if they wanted too, they aged really, really, really slowly though.

When he's 70, he'll still look like he's in his twenties or early thirties.

Normally he'd teach his daughter magic since she's too a Bennett but he had alot to deal with. But he was taking a month off from work to help and teach her of her magic. She was a strong witch and he had to bound her magic because he didn't need her magic to get out of utter control when her mood is all over the place.

But still, even bounded, her magic had affected the weather badly these few days because of Dakota, showing the man that her magic had grown.

The thing that he was most busy with is Avery's so called mother. They used to be friends that fooled around for abit and out came Avery.

Aiyden was smitten with his daughter before she was even born but his friend not so much. But she didn't want to kill the baby neither, she wanted to have it and then give it up, so she and Aiyden can be together. But she wasn't happy to hear that he wanted to keep the baby.

She was even more pissed off when he didn't care about her saying that if he kept the baby, they couldn't be together. How was he fine with not being with her as if she and he didn't know that they are not meant to be?

And yes, she's a witch as well.

She gave him the baby and left without a word, thinking he'd come running when he realizes how much work it is to take care of a baby. But he never came back. And when Avery was old enough, he'd try telling her about her mother but the moment Avery knew that the woman didn't want her, she waved him off.

There was no reason to know her or of her and Aiyden was okay with that as well.

Now years later, that woman was back, suddenly wanting to play happy family.

There were some problems with that.

One, Aiyden wasn't interested and he's sure that his daughter won't be neither. Two, that woman is still not his soulmate and he knows that because his soulmate works with him and has been his secret boyfriend for over a year now. Three, he just doesn't want her.

They both knew they were just fooling around, he didn't know where her damn romantic interest in him started.

Probably after she found out that he was set for life.

She was someone that adored moeny a little too much and if that's all that she wanted, she could have just asked.

Aiyden sighs as he leans back into his chair, finger combing through his locs. He looked young for how old he is well suppose to be but no on questioned it. Charlie knew what he was, he had too as he magic would have bonded with him the moment they got intimate. Making him looke a bit younger and causes him to age as Aiyden does.

A knock sounded on his door and calla for the person to come in.

He sits up and smiles when he see's the Chief of Police himself make his way in the office. "Hello, handsome. What can I do for you today?" He asks teasingly and snorts when he see's a blush appears on the male's cheeks.

"Hey," Charlie says as he lowly clears his throat, sitting down in the chair that is before Aiyden's desk. "I have tow things that I want to talk about," he adds and his boyfriend nods his head slowly, abit worried. "Okay, I'm all ears." Aiyden says softly with an reassuring smile on his lips.

Charlie feels himself relax more as he licks his lips slightly. "One, is something wrong? You seem a bit worried and I can oddly feel your magic crashing like they are waves in a storm." He says with a frown and Aiyden sighs softly. "I'm fine, it's just the Lorulia situation and the fact that I have to tell my daughter what she is and such." He says softly and Charlie nods his head lightly.

He was told all about Lorulia and knew everything. He hates how much this is stressing out his boyfriend and hopes the next thing he wants to say brings his mood up, even if only a bit.

"What's the second thing?" Aiyden asks Charlie softly and the male took a deep breath as he tried to not squirm in his seat. "Well, I was thinking that we can uh, go public with our relationship if it's okay with you?" He asks nervously as Aiyden's eyes widened at the question.

The only reason they were a secret was because Charlie was ready to come out yet. He knew that he was also into men but hadn't dated one until Aiyden. He's had a crush on him for a while. He did not know how to act anytime Aiyden would speak or wave at him. He was scared to come out- well not scared, more like he needed time.

Time to fully come to terms with all that has happened within the year and all that happened before that.

Forks was small but the town had no sort of problems at all with the LGBTQ+ community, there are many couples in the town, all different yet the same as it was love. He just wished that many are like that when it came to heavier people as Avery didn't deserve the shit that she goes through.

It was mainly the kids honestly but still. But then again, Dakota would kill for her if he must which is why people started to keep their mouths closed. Though a few fucked around and found out.

"R-really?" Aiyden asks in surprise as his lips tugged into a wide grin, happiness welling up within him as it's hard seeing people try to flirt with Charlie. Of course Charlie would shut it down when he'd notice he's being flirted with but still. "Yup," Charlie replies with a grin of his own, loving the instant mood change.
