Emmanuella POV

I was singing and dancing like a crazy person, as a favourite song of mine, boomed loudly from the Bluetooth speaker in my room. We had finally finished our exams and I was glad, actually I was over joyed. Unlike other schools in Nigeria, we vacate a week before December and resume the first week of March, which means we have 3 months to ourselves but honestly, that was just a part of the reasons why I was so happy.

My main reason was because my family and that of the Adeleke's were gonna have a family midnight movie today!!! , not just to celebrate completion of exams for I and Kelvin, but to celebrate my big sister's wedding. Ahhhhh!!!!, I was sooo happy for her!!, I mean if this two eventually get married and have kids, maybe, just maybe I might consider believing in love again.

It was thirty minutes past three and I just finished arranging my room. Its been in a total mess since we started exams 3 weeks ago and now that we were done with our exams, it was time to kick back and relax, and the very first step was good music while I arrange my room. I was still singing and dancing like a crazy person to a Fireboy's song when my sis, Zoey walked in to turn it off.

" hey I was listening to that!"

"Yeah well, i'm trying to study, just because you've finished your exam, you feel you can bring down the entire neighborhood?"

"Urgh not fair!, why can't I bring down the entire neighborhood"

"Life isn't fair sis "

I grumbled at her response before accepting defeat and going over to lie on my bed. Since I had fixed my room and it was now in good shape again, I decided now will be a good time to take a break by going through my Instagram feeds. Zoey smiled apologetically at me and left my room heading to hers, shortly after "Bibia be ye ye" by Ed sheeren was booming loudly and this time it wasn't from my room.

Zoey rushed back to my room with anger blazing from her eyes, I raised both my hands to prove to her that it wasn't me. It was in the moment we heard Kelvin's tone deaf voice singing loudly to the song. My sister was so furious that she yelled louder than the music.

"Keep it down Kelvin some people still have exams to study for!!!!!!!!!!"

Immediately the music stopped and he hollowed his apologetics responds back at her. With that the neighborhood was back to it's usual calm and peaceful state. It was so quiet that I didn't know when I dozed off with my phone still in my hand.

Kelvin POV

I was in my room playing video games and sing out loud to "Bibia be ye ye" by Ed sheeren. I couldn't just believe I was done with my exams it was one of the toughest I've ever faced, I'm just grateful I didn't get punished for what I did the other day during my fine art exam. That was a close a call. I might have been brutally punished if not for Emma stepping in.

Her elder sister yelling instructions at me slices through my thought as I visibly cringed at how her voice was louder than the music. I hollowed an apology before putting off the music and continued playing video games on my laptop in my room. Usually, it was me and my brother that play video games from dusk till dawn once I've vacated, but he and dad have been too busy running around to make sure everything is ready for the movie premier of "I am legend" with my brother Denis as the star of the movie.

I honestly can't wait to watch it, I mean, from the synopsis of the movie, it sounds really captivating but you know what they say; seeing is believing. The movie was going to start by 6pm sharp so I wanted to get as much rest as I could so I wouldn't dose off during the movie. After I ended the video game, I went to bed to get some sleep, only for my mom to barge in making my eyes that was feeling week and drowsy already snapped opened.

She walked in further into my demanding for my help as she dragged me roughy out of my room and up to her fashion studio. I just thanked the heavens I was properly Covered in a 3/4 khaki trouser and in Manchester United Jersey because the number of females up here were over five and they all wanted to buy and try on some clothes my mother had sewn without my knowledge.

"Mooom! You could have at lest given me a heads up. There were close to twenty beautiful ladies up here, before dragging me up here looking like a homeless person. "

"Oh I'm sorry but I need your help. All this people here are actresses form the movie premiering today, and well your brother is a big blabber mouth went to blab It all to them that I'm an excellent fashion designer."

"Ohhhh now I get it, so that's how we got into this mess. But hold up where did you get the time to sew all this "

" That's a long story, I had to call for back-up from my school of fashion to help out, since you were writing exams "

"Ooh I get.. Time to get to work."

With that, we got to work immediately, letting the ladies trying on their clothes to see which fits them perfectly. Most of them went with the A line and modest A line dresses while the others went with off shoulder, body con and Midi dress.

By the time we were done, it was already past 5 and I was feeling drained already. I groaned out loudly and so did my mom as we were both really exhausted. We both fell asleep right there in her studio.

7:35pm

I was feeling like my self again as I was dressed in a white turtle neck inner, a double breasted suit with a matching grey trouser and a classic white shoe to go with it. We were able to get there just in time for the red carpet, my brother and I were immediately the center of attention as paparazzi gathered around us asking us some questions. My dad and mom we're also arrested by paparazzi as well.

When they finally gave us space to breath i sneaked away to find Emmanuella. I found her hanging around talking to one of the female actresses whom i recognized came by my house earlier today. I walked up to them and cutting their conversation short.

"Hello ladies! hope you don't mind me crashing the conversation"

"Oh no, not at all, PLEASE stay and have a chat with us "

The lady talking to Emmanuella drawn like a love puppy. I could tell from the side of my eye that Emmanuella was boiling in anger as the girl was now flirting with me. It almost made me want to chuckle but I held it in because I knew it will only anger Emmanuella further. I was going to respond to her statement but Emmanuella beat me to it as she said.

"Oh actual, we were done talking already. C'mon on kelly boo you father must be looking for you "

With that we left the Lady hanging as I could feel her eyes boring holes into our head. Once we were out of her sight, I busted into laughter at Emmanuella's response. She only glared at me playful before smacking my shoulder to stop.

"Stop laughing will you? I had to get her eyes of what's mine somehow"

" Oh and you thought the best way was 'kelly boo' really what sort of a nick name is that. "

"Urgh well I Don't see you coming up with a nick name "

" Thats becuse Kelvin is already perfect the way it is, no addition or subtraction."

"Okay, how about K bear, hows that for a nick name huh? "

" That sounds like kola bear "

I scrunch my nose up in disapproval but the sad expression she was wearing melted my heart. It made me change my mind and accepting the nick name she suggested Immediately.

"Hhey don't beat your self up; K Bear isn't such a bad name, in fact, it is a perfect name "

"Oh thank goodness. I was worried I'd have to think of something else. By the way, smirks Kelly Bear smirks does this dress make me look fat? ."

I Chuckled softly as I finally got the chance to look at her properly. She was dressed in a lavender colored fluffy gown that stopped right below her knees and to say she was beautiful was an understatement. She looks absolutely stunning. Her make up was mild but still intruding and her hair fell graciously over her shoulder.

She was looking at me expectantly awaiting my response, I just smirked at her and responded in a singing song.

"You look stunning dear, so don't ask that question here"

She blushed at my response and smiled sheepishly at me. Only for her to gasp 5 sec later after she realized what I have just done

"Did you just use one of Ed Sheeren line on me? "

"Well that depends, have you be listening to his songs? "

"Urgh you're are just unbelievable K Bear. "

"And you my darling Ella are just simply breathtaking. "

She blushed a deeper shade of red stuttering as she tried to respond but my Dad cut her short as he asked for our presence. We followed suit as my family and Emmanuella family entered the theater first before any one else since it was few minutes to nine and the movie was about to start.
