Chapter Fifteen
THE next day, the three friends, Felix, Hyunjin, and Han were searching for their classes. They noticed that everyone's faces were glued to their phones, making Felix roll his eyes slowly. It didn't take a detective to realize that they were lost, away from their class, and no one was paying enough attention to help them.
"How come you can't remember where your class was? You've been at the school for a month!" Han spoke angrily, glancing at everyone bumping into their shoulders nonchalantly.
"I told you already, I forgot! And, why is everyone acting like that?! This is so annoying!"
Hyunjin stopped in his tracks and turned to his friend, slightly taken aback by his tone.
"Since when do you get upset at things like that? Is it because you didn't see her this morning?" he asked, trying to calm down his tone to help relax his friend.
"I guess so, yeah..." he sighed, an apologetic look over his face. "I'm sorry I got upset. I just... She makes my day, you know?"
The two other friends glanced at each other sympathetically. "We know, Lix. But please, try not to act too clingy. For me. The last thing you want is her telling you that to your face."
That made Felix's heart sink as he thought for a moment. He didn't want her to get tired and break up with him. That was the last thing he wanted, and he hated that idea. He didn't know what to do, for only a minute before he snapped out of his thoughts.
"Just think about it, man. Okay?"
They all nodded and proceeded to find their classrooms.

"Hey, what are you guys staring at? What's so interesting today?" Han asked the boy next to him. The boy was of average height, with curly, dark brown hair and deep brown eyes.
"Oh! Yeah, everyone posted new videos yesterday. Mal's video is the coolest one, in my opinion. She knows how to dance, and well, sing. She uploaded two videos yesterday, and people like it when other people update their feed and not forget about their fans, you know?" the boy explained, while Han tried to agree and process what he was trying to say.
"Thanks for telling me. What's your name?"
"I'm Joshua. Joshua Bassett."
"I'm Han. Jisung Han." the two boys laughed at the tone.
"Hey, Joshua, do you think I can borrow your phone? I need to show that video to my friend."
Joshua nodded with no hesitation, then stretched out his hand with the phone in his grasp. Han took it and replied with a small 'thank you', then stood up and walked towards the lockers. He spotted Hyunjin picking at the padlock of his locker and hurried towards him.
"Hey, check this out! This is what everyone's been staring at this morning."
He raised the phone to Hyunjin's eye level so he could watch what was on the screen. On it was a video of a girl dancing professionally to a song called Black Mamba by aespa. Hyunjin immediately thought that the girl looked familiar.
"Is that... Who I think it is?" he asked slowly, in Korean. Han nodded, then turned the phone back to himself, allowing him to scroll through something. A minute later, he showed his friend the screen again, and on it was an Instagram profile, with the same familiar girl on the profile picture.
"Is that Mal?" Han nodded again.
"Check the follow count."
Hyunjin obeyed, and as result, his eyes widened in shock.
"Twenty million followers?!"
The other boy shushed his friend quickly, then continued to show him all the videos of the girl dancing and singing her favorite songs.
"She has a nice voice!"
"And she knows how to dance!"
Hyunjin shook his head in shock, then ran his hand through his soft, long dark hair. "Holy- we need to tell Bang Chan. I think we found our fifth member!"
