I bet you can all guess what this author's note is about, and that is, of course, the cancellation of julie and the phantoms.

okay no but seriously. julie and the phantoms literally had me and this app on a chokehold, and I actually really miss that era. this book has had to be my fastest growing book by far, and in the span of over a year, you guys have got it to 125k reads. that's literally INSANE. so I just wanted to thank you all for reading <3

this show literally made me so happy and I rewatched it so many times. literally, jatp was my #5 most listened to artist and there were a lot of songs on my 2021 playlist according to my spotify wrapped.

and it's always hard saying goodbye to my oc's because I form emotional attachments to them, but this one is different.

emilia, my best girl, deserves the absolute world. she was such a shining star and I love her to death. emilia is the one who truly made me fall in love with this story. the plans I had for her in season two if it actually happened . . . she was gonna write so many more songs, grow into herself more, and her and luke were going to figure out their interesting little relationship :(

and apollo . . . well, I guess we'll just live with knowing he's possessed lol. I was SO excited to explore that but I guess it'll never happen. but I love him too <3

this book truly means a lot to me and I love it so fucking much. I'm so so so upset that I can't write more of it. I know I said goodbye in the last author's note, but this is truly a goodbye. a goodbye to the ideas I had, a goodbye to my dear girl emilia, a goodbye to apollo, and a goodbye to the band.
