Next Day.
"Baby." Nau'Jour kissed over Jayda's face while she slept, trying to wake her up.
"Bae get up or I'm bouta to beat this pussy til you do." He fake bit her jaw, and she smiled, making him laugh.
"Come on baby wake up." He moved her messy hair from her face, and her eyes fluttered opened, adjusting to her surroundings, before meeting his.
"You so pretty." He chuckled, and she smiled once more, sitting up. She rubbed her eye, and his eyes scanned over her naked body once the blanket fell from her chest.
"Oh my god I need a shower. I smell like sex." She frowned, raising up from her bed. Once she stood to her feet, she hissed, immediately placing her hand between her legs.
"Nana help me." She pouted, and he smiled, standing up as well.
"Nah. You got it sexy." He pulled the sheets and comforter set off of the bed, carrying it to her washer, and she frowned.
"Nau'Jour!" She called after him, holding on to her dresser for stability, able to hear him laughing as he started the washing load.
"Bae you look crazy as hell." He walked back in the room, picked her up, and carried her to the bathroom.
"Oh my gosh." She frowned after seeing her reflection in the mirror, being placed on her feet.
She had love bruises over her body, and his handprint around her neck. Her face was lightly bruised from the way he gripped it, and her hair was all over the place, matted in some areas.
"Why can't you have sex like a regular person?" She held her frown as she brushed her teeth, and he laughed, his naked body standing behind hers.
"No. Move." She swatted him away once his dick rubbed down her slit, and he smiled.
"I love dat' pussy." He cupped it in his hand with a smirk on his face, and she laughed, using a napkin to dry her mouth.
"I can tell." She chuckled, rolling her eyes as she began to pull her wig off since it was lifting heavily anyways.
"I ain't mean to fuck yo hair up. I know that's yo favorite style." He smiled, turning the shower on, letting it get hot, the way that he liked it.
"Sure you didn't. You was yanking on my shit like it was real or sum'." She rolled her eyes once more, making him laugh.
"My fault baby. I got you five bands to get it redone." He slapped her ass, and she smiled, taking out her cornrows, then put her bonnet on.
She stepped in the shower with him, hissing as she removed herself from under the hot water.
"Why do you always shower as if this is a fucking sauna? You want a taste of hell or something?" She frowned, adding more cold water.
"I already got a taste of it cause that pussy fire." He smirked, and she busted out laughing, making him do the same.
"You tryna say I'm burning? Aight bet." She removed herself from his grip, and he laughed again, pulling her back.
"That pussy so good I wouldn't even care if you was." He shrugged, and her jaw dropped, making him laugh once more.
"You definitely not seeing the pearly gates. You just be saying whatever you be thinking huh?" She tilted her head, detaching her shower head to rinse her body off.
"Yup. Lemme do it." He took it from her, and she spread her legs as he squatted, letting him rinse her body off.
"You came so much yesterday. Yo shit red mama." He turned on the mist setting, placing it over her clit, and she hissed.
"It's your fault, oh my gosh." She frowned, the pulsing of her clit being soothed.
"My bad." He chuckled, using a small towel to wipe her legs off, and then rinsed it off before wiping down her slit.
"There you go baby." He kissed her clit, before standing upright, and she chuckled.
"You are so in love with me." She rolled her eyes, and he smiled, shrugging his shoulders.
"Been that." He chuckled, both of them beginning to bathe. Jayda stayed in the shower longer than him so that she could wash her hair, getting out a half hour later.
She wrapped a towel around her body, using her hair dryer to blow her hair out.
"Baby are we going somewhere or something?" She asked over the sound of the blow dryer.
"Yeah. You getting Papa today right?" He inquired, and she called back a 'yeah'.
"Speaking of.." She mumbled, turning her blow dryer off as she unlocked her phone, dialing Dayvon's number and putting it on speaker.
"Wassup babymama?" He answered on the second ring, and she could hear his video games playing in the background.
"Hey. I'll be by to pick Papa up in probably a half hour. You're home?" She asked, brushing her now dry hair out.
"Yeah. I thought I could keep him until tomorrow?" He said, confused.
"Von you've had him for three days. I miss my baby. You can come back and get him on Tuesday." She told him, today currently being Friday.
"And how long can I keep him from Tuesday?"
"Friday." She answered, and he hummed in response.
"When are we gone set up a real schedule? You only let me get him a few days out the month. I want more time." He told her, and she looked over at Toosii who was already watching her, and he shrugged.
"We can talk about that on Tuesday. Send me your schedule for the rest of this month so that I can work around it." She sighed under her breath, and she could almost hear his smile.
"Okay, thank you. I'll have him ready." He replied, and she nodded even though he couldn't see her, ending the call.
"Baby you sad?" Toosii chuckled, and she nodded, pouting per usual.
"I hate having to share my baby. I know that's wrong to say but I'm just so used to him being with only me. Ugh, I'm about to cry." She frowned as she slicked her hair back into a loose bun, adding her usual thick baby hairs.
"You are such a brat. You just cry to cry huh?" He smirked, and she nodded, making him laugh.
"I can't believe my baby actually likes him. I was hoping he would stay a mommy's baby forever. Heavy sigh." She said while heavily sighing, making him laugh once more.
After the two of them finished getting completely ready, they loaded in Nau'Jour's lambo truck, making the drive towards Von's house.
"You want me to go in with you?" He asked after completing the twenty minute drive, putting the car in park.
"No because I don't want y-actually, yes. Yeah, come on." She undid her seatbelt, and he chuckled, turning his car off and then getting out to open her door.
He helped her down, then grabbed her hand, letting her pull him towards the front door. She knocked a few times, then stepped back, looking over at him.
"Don't fight him. Ok?" She met his eyes, and he rose an eyebrow in confusion.
"Why would I fight him?" He chuckled, and she shrugged, leaning her head on his shoulder. Nau'Jour had very calm anger issues, and his mood could switch in the blink of an eye.
Jayda had only seen him in that form once when she'd went to the studio with him, and a producer who didn't know that she was with him, touched her ass without her permission.
It wasn't just a soft touch either, he'd literally grabbed a handful of her ass as if he knew her. Toosii beat him until his face was unrecognizable as soon as Jayda had told him what happened, and once he'd finished, he snapped back into his normal mood-surprising Jayda.
Jayda didn't want Von to make any passes at her in front of Toosii, thinking that he was a pussy or something because he was far from that. He didn't flex how tough he was like other rappers, but when it came down to it, he'd show out. He didn't need to prove anything to anyone because he knew what he was capable of, so he mostly stayed to himself so that it didn't get that far.
Snapping out of her thoughts, she stood up straight once the door locks turned, and it opened, revealing Von. His eyes immediately trailed to Toosii, and his eyebrows furrowed in confusion, looking down at Jayda.
"What? Where's Pa-." Jayda was cut off as Cyncere's small body pushed past Von, running to them through the door.
"Nana!" He shrieked, attacking Toosii in a hug, making him laugh.
"Wassup Papa?" He swooped him up, and he giggled, hugging tight around his neck.
"I missed you! Look!" He held up a Nintendo switch, showing it to him.
"Jay, lemme talk to you." Von nodded his head away from the door, a natural frown on his face.
"About what?" She asked, and he gave her a look, making her head tilt.
"If you can't say it in front of Nana it doesn't need to be said." She said in a confused tone, her arms folding across her chest.
"Jayda don't do this in front of Cyn. Go talk, I'm good." Nau'Jour told her where only she could hear, and she frowned.
"Go talk." He repeated, his tone stern, and her frown dropped, sighing as she followed Von into his house.
"What is it?" She refolded her arms once they made it to the kitchen.
"What you bring him to my house fa'?" He asked, leaning against his counter.
"Because we're about to go somewhere. I'll leave him in the car next time if it makes you feel better. I wanted you two to talk but you obviously have something against him."
"What? I ain't say shit to that nigga quit making shit up." He waved her off, and she refrained from rolling her eyes.
"Ok. Is that all?" She questioned, and his head tilted a bit.
"Why does he, and all your other friends get to be around Cyn but I can't take him around my friends? They got kids too and I want him to meet them." He told her, and she shifted her weight to one side.
"Which friends?"
"Does it matter? I don't question your friends." He spoke in a confused tone.
"My friends don't smoke weed or pop percs. Neither do they flash guns and drugs. I'm sorry that I would like to know who my kid will be around? India and Durk is fine, I know them. Who else?" She questioned in a calm manner.
"Some people that you don't know. I won't let them have it around h-."
"No, Dayvon. He can't be around people that I don't know. Why would you even start with that knowing that I'd say no?" She cut him off, frowning.
"Jayda every damn rule you give me about him I follow it. I do everything your way regardless of if I agree with it or not because I know that you're his primary parent. This ain't about who you letting me bring him around, it's about the fact that you still don't trust me with my own kid when I haven't given you a reason not to." He told her, frowning as well.
"Stop putting words in my mouth because I never said that. I'm leaving now." She turned to walk off, and he rubbed his temples in frustration.
"You bitter as fuck." He muttered, and she stopped in her tracks as soon as he'd finished.
"Bitter? I'm bitter?" She turned back around, and he didn't respond to her, pulling his phone from his pocket.
"I'm bitter but I allow you to see him atleast three times a week, every damn week? Every time you tell me you miss him I allow you to come get him, but I'm bitter? I'm giving you more fucking time with him, but I'm fucking bitter?" She was now standing in front of him, her small frame staring up at his larger one.
"I'll break this shit so fucking fast Dayvon. Answer me." She snatched his phone from her hand and he refrained from grabbing her up by her neck.
"You think I won't kill you in this bitch? You know my body Rain don't fucking play with me." He took his phone back from her, and she scoffed.
"Nigga fuck you. You calling me bitter right now, watch this; I'm about to show yo ass bitter. You are so fucking ungrateful Dayvon. That's okay though. I got your bitter." A sarcastic chuckle left her lips, pushing past him to leave his kitchen.
"I don't give a fuck. Fuck you. Die, I don't care." He shrugged, opening his refrigerator.
"Are you being deadass right now? All because I won't let you take him around your doped out ass friends?" She scoffed in disbelief, and he didn't respond.
"I try so hard with your stupid ass. Chance after chance, and you continue to blow that shit because you don't use your fucking brain. And you know what you gone do once you realize what you saying right now?"
"You gone be calling my phone, coming to my house begging for fucking forgiveness. You are so damn hard to please Dayvon." She swung his door open, slamming it behind her as she walked out.
She held a frown on her face as she approach Toosii's truck, and he stopped her from opening the door, just having finished buckling Cyncere into his car seat.
"I'm not in the fucking mood Nau'Jour, move." She irritatedly spoke, avoiding his gaze.
"Who you talking to?" A curious expression covered his face while he gave her a few seconds to answer, but she remained silent, making him roughly grab her up by her neck.
"Who-the fuck-are you, talking to?" He took short pauses between his words, looking down at her.
"Nana I-,"
"No. Don't bring that attitude out here Jayda, I was just tryna open the door for you. Quit letting that nigga have control over your fucking emotions like that. Don't come out here being rude to me when I ain't did shit to you. You better watch yo fuckin' mouth Jayda Rain I'm not playing with you. Get in the damn car." He opened the door like he was originally planning to do, and she did as told, pouting.
He closed the door behind her, walking around his truck and getting inside. He pulled his seatbelt on, making sure that Cyncere was alright, before pulling out of the spot he was parked in.
The ride was quiet for the first few minutes, before Jayda finally spoke up, feeling bad for the way she'd spoken to him.
"Nana I'm sorry for having an attitude with you. I didn't mean to take my frustrations out on you. I'm sorry." She nervously played with the hem of her hoodie, looking over at him once he didn't respond.
"Nau'Jour do you hear me? I'm sorry." Her eyebrows slightly furrowed. He never was the one to ignore her.
"Jayda since that nigga been back you going back to them ways that I helped you out of. You starting that toxic shit again and it's starting to piss me off. I'm not doing that shit with you, you need to get it the fuck together. That shit annoying man." He sat up in his seat, keeping his eyes on the road.
"I'm sorry. It's not on purpose. I didn't realize." She mumbled, rubbing her left wrist that contained diamond bracelets.
She wiped her face after feeling a tear fall, sighing to herself. She hated when he was upset with her or when he cussed at her. It was a rare occurrence but she cried every time.
Nau'Jour glanced over at her, seeing that she was trying not to draw attention to the fact that she was crying, making him shake his head.
"You need a fucking pregnancy test man." His voice rasped, going back to his normal tone as he glanced in his rearview at Cyncere who was talking with himself about his Nintendo.
"No I don't. I just don't like it when you're mad at me. I didn't realize what I was doing Na. I tried to apologize and you cussed me out. I said I was sorry." She quietly sniffed as he pulled into a parking spot, turning his car off.
He didn't respond, getting out of his truck and walking around to her side, opening the door. Her arms immediately wrapped around his neck, and he returned the hug around her waist.
"We not gone do that, ight? We not going back to that Jayda, that's not you no more. Don't let nobody bring that shit out of you, okay? You in control of your own emotions now, and you better now. You know how to handle your feelings. Don't let him have no hold your mood like that, you understand me?" He held her face, and she nodded as he wiped her face dry of tears.
"I'm so sorry. I love you Nana. I'm sorry." She mumbled, hugging him tighter, a small smile replacing her pout as he kissed her face.
"It's aight baby. I love you too. You want some pizza?" He pecked her lips, and she smiled, seeing that they were at Chuck E. Cheese.
"Yes please." She intertwined their fingers, and he kissed her forehead, before getting Cyncere out the car.
"Chuck E Cheese!" He shrieked in excitement, holding tight around Nau'Jour's neck, making him laugh, and Jayda's heart swelled in happiness.
