"Calm down,
You know my heart can't take anymore, damn. I said this before."
REMEMBER - JHENE AIKO 0:30
THREE YEARS LATER | PRESENT DAY

"Rich gangsta, bad bitch taker. How she riding on that dick, that bitch dangerous. Put that pussy in a cage I can't tame it!" Von rapped, a wide smile on his face watching the crowd rap with him, word for word.

"Put that bitch on the camera now she famous!" His best friend, Durk, rapped his song with him, making him laugh.

Von walked to stand near the edge of the stage, looking over at the crowd of over 2,000 people. He laughed as fans tugged on his jeans, and he pulled his shirt off, leaving his muscle shirt on, making the girls scream.

"Say don't touch me like that ma." He removed a girl's hand from sliding up his leg, chuckling.

"Bra quit feeling on me like t-move." He moved another hand that rubbed over his dick, stepping back from their reach.

"Folks 'nem in this bitch wylin'." He said in the mic, laughing as his fans screamed at him.

"Y'all know my lil nigga bouta drop 'Welcome to O Block'. Y'all better run that shit up at midnight, take him to number one on Apple Music!" Durk wrapped his arm over Von's shoulder, making him laugh again.

"Preciate' y'all for fuckin' wit' me. Welcome to O Block out at midnight." Von held up his middle fingers as photographers took pictures of him, waving at his fans as the curtains on the stage closed.

"They ass still screaming." Another friend of his, Memo, laughed.

"The raq' gone fuck wit' me everytime." He shrugged, wiping his sweaty face with his shirt.

He had just finished the last show on his tour, and it was in his hometown-Chicago. He'd been booked there for $42,000, and ended up having more fun there, than at any of his other shows.

He enjoyed the meet and greets, traveling, and the performances as well, but he was just ready to get to his house and sleep.

"Y'all niggas riding the bus back to Atlanta or nah?" Durk referred to the tour bus they'd been traveling in, looking at about ten of their friends.

"I can't last another day on that shit mane I'm flying private, fuck it." Von chuckled, watching a security guard transfer his bags from the bus to a sprinter van that would drive him to the airport.

"Nigga dropping 40 bands on a private flight when you could've rode the bus for free or flew with spirit for $37." Booka shook his head, making them all laugh.

"Nigga a' turn into a spirit on god. Say though, y'all flying or nah?" Von asked, climbing in the van, laughing once they all did as well, their bags in another van.

They'd made it to the jet within a half hour, and as soon as they got on, Von was close to dozing off, his friends on live.

"This nigga Durk been in love for years now. He barely be fuckin' wit' us now." Memo shook his head, showing Durk, who rose his middle finger up, currently on FaceTime with his girlfriend.

"Just cause ain't none of y'all bitch asses experienced real love before don't mean shit. Find you a girl bitch." Durk throw an empty Gatorade bottle at his head, and Von chuckled, opening his eyes and unlocking his phone.

"What you over there laughing for nigga? You ain't been in love neither." Booka said to him, and he shrugged, licking over his teeth.

"Yeah I have. You on yo own with that one gang." Von waved him off, chuckling.

"This nigga lying. He don't love that bitch he be wit', he hate her brick booty a-." Memo was cut off as Von threw a water bottle at him, and everyone laughed.

"Talk too fucking much. Turn that shit off bitch ass nigga." Von joined in on the laughter, shaking his head at him.

"Sitting over there just lying." Memo ended his live video, switching over to Twitter.

"Nigga who is you for me to lie to? I said I been in love, I ain't say it was wit' the bitch I'm with now." He shrugged, and Memo shook his head at him.

"Bra we ain't seen you wit' nobody else. Bitch you keeping secrets now?" Durk tuned in on the conversation, tilting his head, and Von laughed.

"Somethin' like that." He chuckled, looking out of the window at the clouds, about to doze off after occupying himself with his own thoughts.

He was telling the truth. He was in love before, and ever since he'd left that love, he'd been searching for it in every girl he came across. None of them would ever compare to her though.

He missed her like crazy, but every time he built up the courage to look for her, he backed out, afraid of how she'd react to seeing him again.

Ceasing his thoughts, he dozed off within a few mere seconds, tired and worn out. Von slept for a good two hours, before being shook awake after the plane had landed.

He said his goodbyes to his friends, getting in another sprinter van that would take him to his final destination-home.

He wasn't sure if it was actually home though. Since he'd been on his own for the last few years, it always felt like something was missing. He never ever felt complete, and he knew exactly what the feeling was.

Time after time he tried to push it to the back of his mind, figuring he was just overthinking and that it wasn't as serious as he was making it out to be, but he knew the truth.

He knew that he was stubborn and he was always going against his better self. Dayvon knew exactly what-who-he needed, but he'd rather sulk in shame than come to terms with his loss.

"Preciate you." Von dapped up his driver after he'd helped him take his bags in, afterwards getting him some cash from his pocket.

Von locked his door after the driver left, taking his shoes off and placing them on his rack. A habit that he still had from being with her.

Pulling his muscle shirt off, he made his way towards the back of his house, getting ready to take a shower. All through his shower and even once he was out, his house remained as quiet as a graveyard.

He turned on his TV, putting it on a random Disney movie just so that the silence wouldn't be so deafening.

He was now regretting the decision to come home instead of spending the night partying with his friends. Because here he was, on one of the nights that was supposed to be the biggest of his career, spending it alone.

There was no excitement in his house, none in himself-just dull. He didn't feel anything at all, just pure emptiness.

He checked the time, seeing that it was one minute before midnight, which means his publicist team was rolling out his music videos and his singles.

Von sighed to himself, running his hand down his face. He pulled his covers over his shoulders, holding his body pillow close to him, attempting to doze off.

He missed his best friend a lot. Every time he was alone, and even when he wasn't, she was all that he thought about.

He couldn't find the will to actually find her because he didn't want to approach her and receive a negative response-which was well deserved.

No matter how many women approached him and threw themselves at him, no matter the amount of weed he smoked, liquor he drank, no matter the amount of people around him; no one could ever compare to her.

He searched for her in every person he came across. She was definitely one of a kind, and he regretted every action that took place on the day that he left her.

He could feel his phone buzzing with notifications, probably people congratulating and supporting him on his first studio album drop. He didn't care about any of that as of now.

Consumed in his thoughts, he could feel himself become emotional, and he buried his face into his pillow, wishing that he was with her right now.

This was a frequent occurrence for him. There wasn't a single second that passed that he didn't wish with all of his might that she was with him.

He didn't know why he got so sad every time, because he knew that their fall out was his fault. He wouldn't even call it a fall out, because he literally left her. He left her all alone, and now, he was alone as well.

Everyday he wondered what she was doing, what she looked like, how she felt, and did she miss him. He was afraid that she didn't miss him as much as he did her, and he didn't want to be embarrassed.

Von reached over to grab his phone from the dresser, checking the notifications, multiple people in the industry and from his label congratulating him.

He scrolled through the many mentions, a blank look on his face. On a night that was supposed to be full of excitement, he was sad; per usual.

He switched over to safari on his phone, typing in her name without thinking, not wanting to back himself out of it.

He typed in 'Jayda Rain', not sure if she went by her grandmother's last name, or his, the one she'd been using for years.

When her grandmother passed, Ada didn't know where Azure had kept all of Jayda's information, such as her birth certificate and social security number to get her enrolled in school.

So she'd legally adopted Jayda, and had her last name changed to Bennett, but Jayda had always went by both. Von and her had always shared his last name, but after what he did to her, he wasn't sure if she still went by it.

He scanned through a few blank links that didn't really bring up anything, sighing to himself as he sat up. He typed in her full legal name, and again, received no results.

He typed in her name with his last name, and to his surprise, an Instagram link came up.

"Thejaydabennett." He read her username aloud, a small smiling etching across his face after realizing that it was indeed her.

She only had 20 pictures up, and half of them were flyers of some sort. He clicked a recent picture which was a picture of her, scanning over her figure.

Her naturally wide hips had spread even further, smoothing out from her small waist. Her ass had definitely grown, and it surprised him. She had always had a shape, despite being short and skinny-the figure was always there, and it had filled out tremendously.

He pondered on the thought on if maybe she'd gotten surgery, before snapping out of his thoughts as he watched the only highlights posted to her page.

There was a child with her, a boy who was still a toddler, and he felt as if his heart stopped, seeing the resemblance of himself in the child.

"Mommy!" The boy shrieked, laughing in the video that Von was watching, and his eyes went wide. This kid looked to be no older than maybe three, which meant that this was most likely his child. He was looking at what could possibly be his son, that he had no clue ever existed.

"Papa! Say hey!" Jayda laughed, recording the boy who was obviously camera shy, a big smile on his face as he tackled Jayda in a hug.

Hearing her voice made his heart swell, and he didn't know if he was happy, sad, upset, or all of the above. He was feeling so many emotions at once.

Coming across a clear picture of the baby boy, and he had Jayda's entire face. Von took notice of his stance, a very slight almost unnoticeable curve in his legs. Von being bow legged himself, knew that he was as well.

It began to click more and more, how emotional she was the last few weeks he was with her, how often she cooked random things, her often mood changes.

He frowned, becoming upset with himself with how bad he treated her, when she was possibly pregnant with his child.

He covered his face in his hands, unsure of how to feel and what to do. Before he'd found her Instagram, all that he wanted to do was see how she looked and maybe he'd eventually gain the courage to ask her to meet with him.

But now, he didn't have the slightest clue on what he should do. He had a whole son that he didn't know about, and that blew his mind.
