Mayu was definitely hiding something,

I just couldn't figure out what it was, I'd tried to eavesdrop on his conversations and spy on him. All but in vain.

I was lost in thought when a genius idea occurred to me.

I could ask Mandy!

It was slightly irritating that they had the same names, it made it difficult for the person who was speaking to the two of them.

"Mayank?" I stuck my head inside his hotel room, I saw him fast asleep on the bed. A smile tugging on his lips, and for some reason, that sight made me smile. But out of the corner of my eye, I saw an old photo.

My old class photo-?

"What's he doing with this?" I frowned and picked up the book that had the photo in it.

"Mahi?" I heard Mayank's voice yawn, and I quickly hid the book in my handbag.

I wasn't going to steal it, I would put it back when he wasn't looking

"I was just coming to check up on you," I felt flustered and tried to lie, something that Mayu had told me came to my head.

'You can't act or lie to save your life!'

I truly hoped that wasn't true at that moment, but Mayank was too sleepy to notice anything.

"Uh... I'll leave then-" I quickly ran out of the room, the moment I fleed out the door I let out a breath of relief. The book felt heavy in my bag, and I had a debate if I should open it or not.

At last, my curiosity won out.

I opened the book in my hotel room, promising myself that I'd only read one line. So I flipped through the pages and landed on a random one. I read a line in a random paragraph.

" I'm in love with someone "
