Mahi's POV

Mayu's hand was on top of mine, as the car drove back toward the city. But I had a feeling that something wrong. I closed my eyes, allowing myself to drift deeper and deeper into my thoughts.

"I'm in love with Mahi"

My eyes fluttered open the moment that the words came back to me, and I let out a sigh of relief.

"Mahi-?" Mayu frowned, but my eyes widened. A bright light was racing toward us.

"Mayank!" I pointed and, Mayu whipped around. The car curved drastically in an effort to avoid the Truck that was racing toward us. The tires squealed in an attempt to stop. The truck was approaching quickly, and I heard something click. Mayank's face was dead serious, I knew we had less than ten seconds till the painful impact came.

"OUT!" He ordered me, and I was frozen in place. Panic had settled in, highjacking my senses. Mayank cursed and pushed me out of the car, and then I heard the sickening sound of glass shattering.

I was blinded by a stinging pain in my leg, the airbag had puffed up as well. Leaving a burning sensation on my left arm. The sound I heard was metal cracking and twisting, I immediately looked around for any traces of Mayank. I saw the car the roof on the ground, I let out a pained sob. My vision was red, and blood trickled down my forehead.

I limped over to the car, and saw Mayu breathing shallowly, blood was pooling out of his right arm. His instincts had saved me, and him. I felt numb with shock, I knew what was happening but my brain was too traumatized to react.

Come on, Mahi! You can't fall into shock

But it was already too late, the world had started to enclose itself into a tiny little box. My eyelids felt heavy, and I was dizzy. I knew I'd lost a lot of blood, my ears were ringing and I was bruised badly.

"I love you," Mayank coughed before my senses were flooded with darkness.

Dun dun da~

Mayu does the noble thing and saves Mahi... Poor Mahi...

On a slightly less depressing note, Mahi will stay alive

On a more serious note, how was the writing level of this chapter? It's my first time writing a sequence like that. (did I make u cry?)
