"For your incredible valor within this community, and for your uncompromising cooperation with this agency, I present to you the keys to the city, a symbol of our appreciation, respect, and for our continued partnership." Chief Vincent says to the crowd

Kylie sat at in the front row, her smile bright and warm. The turtles found her eyes in the crowd and even Raph smiled. Casey and April sat behind her, Casey's hand squeezing her shoulder. Kylie breathes in the night air, it was the first time she had been outside since being admitted into the hospital. The turtles insisted on waiting to do the ceremony until Kylie was released from the hospital.

"To you brothers, Leonardo, Raphael, Donatello, Michelangelo... Last name?"

"Not so much." Donnie said

"I never thought of that. That's no fair." Mikey whined

"Congratulations."

"I got one of those. No big deal. I helped them. They're friends of mine." Vern said to the person beside him

Kylie laughs and shakes her head at Vern before turning back towards the front. Kylie stand up and lets out a loud whistles before clapping furiously. The turtles smile at her and the rest of the crowd joins in.

As everyone dispersed, Kylie watched as smaller groups formed and she smiled before sitting back down. She turned and watched her brother casually flirt with April and she laughed. She then looked up at the sky and soaked in the moonlight.

"It's something, isn't it?"

Kylie turns to her right to see Chief Vincent sitting beside her, looking up at the sky as well.

"It's been a crazy week. You seem to be better." She states refering to Kylie's stab wound

"Yes, alot better." She says with a smile

"You know, rumor has it that you're wanting to join the NYPD." Vincent says, turning to make eye contact with Kylie

"Yes, I hope to one day become a detective."

Vincent hums before leaning back.

"Hmm, that seems to small minded for you. You seem like someone would would want more."

Kylie laughs quietly before nodding.

"Join the FBI is the goal, maybe even the Secret Service one day."

Vincent lets out a loud laugh before smiling at her.

"That's better. We could use someone like you on my task force."

Kylie turned to her in shock.

"I haven't finished school yet."

"No, but you get your bachelor's in the spring, correct?"

Kylie nods

"Call me afterwards and I'll get you on the fast track through the Academy. By this next next year, you'll be working directly under me."

Kylie stares at her wide eyed and mouth slightly open.

"I, uh- thank you Chief! I'll be in contact with you soon."

Vincent nods before holding out her hand. Kylie shakes it happily as Vincent nods to the side.

"I think they're waiting on you." She says motioning towards the platform where the turtles were staring curiously.

Kylie nods and gets up

"Hey Jones'"

Kylie turns around, looking in her eyes.

"Make sure you're brother fills out his Academy application."

Kylie nods with a small smile before making her way over to the turtles.

"What was that all about? What did Vincent want?" Donnie asked her

The others nodded in curiousity and Kylie stuck her head up, a little prouder.

"Oh you know, she was just recognizing my incredible skills and asking me to join her task force."

Mikey lets out a yell before pulling Kylie into a tight hug and throwing her up on his shoulder. Kylie laughs furiously and the others chuckles.

"Huh- everything is much smaller from up here. It's like looking out ont a sea of ants."

Donnie laughs before moving closer to Mikey.

"Yeah it really is."

The others chuckles as Donnie stands right beside Kylie, who even on Mikey's shoulder is much taller. Kylie gives him a look before lightly punching his shoulder.

"Ouch! You're violent!"

Kylie rolls her eyes and Raph lets out a loud laugh. He reaches over and he and Kylie fist bump.

"You're so dramatic, I barely touched you. If anything you hurt me." Kylie says

Donnie rolls his eyes but smiles at her before Leo walks over. He holds out his hands to Kylie, who takes them, and helps her off Mikey's shoulder. Kylie smiles up at him and she heart flutters. Leo gives her a small smile and Raph groans.

"Okay love birds, that's enough."

They both roll their eyes, but smile.

"Okay, what are we doing now?" Donnie asked

Leo smiles and places a hand on Kylie's shoulder.

"I say we grab a pizza and head to the park."

Kylie smiles up at him, and but he doesn't look down at her; only squeezes his hand on her shoulder.

"Wait! Wait! First there's something I've always wanted to do!" Mikey says

Kylie laughs and looks back up at Leo. This time he looks down at her and smiles.

"Let's go! I don't wanna look at this anymore!" Raph says motioning to Leo and Kylie

Kylie looks over to Raph and sticks out her tongue.

"Alright, you guys go do whatever it is that Mikey wants to do and I'll meet you guys at the park with the pizza's?"

"Sounds good Dudette! Make sure to grab the 100 laired cheese!" Mikey tells her

Kylie nods and the everyone but Leo takes off.

"Are you okay? You're not in any pain are you?" Leo asked her

"No, I'm fine. I feel great! But when we get to the park, I'm going to ask you to walk around; just follow me."

Leo looks down at her confused, and Kylie smiles mischievously back up at him.

"Uh oh, what's that look for?" Leo asked, slightly concerned

"We're going to unleash Armageddon on you're brothers. And it's going to be hilarious."

Leo laughs quietly and shakes his head.

"Alright then, just nothing too crazy. I don't need you reopening that wound." He says pointing to her hip

"I'll be fine, I won't overdo it. I promise."

"Hmm. You also promised me that you'd be safe. And we saw how that turned out. I'm going to need something stronger." Leo tells her

Kylie crosses her arms, her eyes challenging his. However, Leo is masterful at getting what he wants (even more so than Kylie at times, and this is one of those times.).

"Alright fine." She says before holding out her pinky

"I pinky promise to not overdo it."

Leo chuckles before lacing his 'pinky' with hers.

"Alright, get out of here. Make sure Mikey doesn't burn down the city."

Leo laughs, shaking his head before taking off in the direction of his brothers. Kylie watched him go and blushes furiously when he slightly turns his head towards her and winks before jump up onto the building.

Kylie laughs and shakes her head before turning around to see Casey and April not far behind her.

Casey was leaned up against the tree, watching Kylie was narrow eyes and April laughs quietly. Kylie makes her way towards the two, her head turned to the side as she approaches.

"What's wrong with him?" Kylie asked April

She laughs quietly shaking her head at Casey.

"He's...."

"Not liking all this tension between you and Blue boy." He says

"That's a lot of hostility for someone who literally just saved the city and possibly the world." Kylie comments quietly

"Oh leave them be Casey. They're cute." April tells him

"There's nothing going on between me and Leo. I've hardly known him long enough to even imagine-"

"That's not what your puppy dog eyes say whenever they see him." Casey snaps.

"Okay, listen Case. Cause I'm only going to say this once. I am 19 years old. A legal adult here in the U.S. I decide for myself who I date and who I don't. So unless you want me to move out and into a dorm at the beginning of next semester, I suggest you stop with all this moncho crap." Kylie tells him

April claps at her, before turning to Casey who sighs.

"I'm guessing you're meeting up with them."

"As a matter of fact I am."

Casey sighs once more before handing her his car keys.

"Take my car, you don't need to be walking alone at night with your injury."

Kylie takes them before wrapping her arms around his neck.

"I love you Casey. I'm going to be okay. Also there's something I want to talk to you about later"

Casey nods at her and she waves at April before walking towards the parking lot.

April turns to Casey, before slipping her arm behind his back and resting her head on his shoulder.

"She's going to be okay. She's smart. And Leo would never hurt her, she's in good hands."

"I hope so." He says as he stares at where his sister once was

Casey's newly fixed black Dodge Charger rested in a parking space near Roosevelt Park, a secluded and quiet area at night.

Kylie sat in the driver's seat, a smirk resting on her face as she looked at the large tub in the back. She looked down at her phone as it vibrated against the leather console. A text from Leo, letting her know they were almost there.

She grabs the two boxes of pizza beside her before stepping out of the car. She sets them in the roof of the Charger and opens the backseat door next to her. She grabs the container and walks over to the nearby water hose and hooks up the water balloon port. She finishes the last set before moving the tub under a nearby tree and heading back to her call.

As she grabs the pizza boxes, she hears a yell across the park. She smiled and looked down, not seeing any water on her, before walking down the path.

She quickly finds herself at the center of the park, where she finds the turtles already waiting. Mikey was near the merry-go-round, pushing it fastly and trying to jump on.

"Hey guys! Pizza here!" Kylie yells

Mikey quickly stops what he's doing and heads straight over to her. He takes the pizza's from her hands and Raph immediately takes them from him. Mikey pouts and Donnie shakes his head at the two.

"While you guys set up, Leo do you want to go for a walk?" Kylie asked, her face light and innocent

Leo looked down at her, his eyes narrowed. Internally he was stunned by how well she was playing this off. Raph faked a gag and Mikey 'awwed' Kylie and Donnie both rolled their eyes.

"Yeah, lets go."

Kylie turns around and Leo moves beside her. Kylie waits until they're out of ear shot before talking.

"This is going to be hilarious."

"What are we doing exactly?" Leo asked

"A water balloon fight!" Kylie tells him excitedly

"What made you want to do this?" Leo questioned, as her plan was out of the blue.

"It's actually been an accidental tradition of mine up until now." She admits

Leo tilts his head, and motions for her to explain.

"Well when I was younger, like 5 or 6, a new family moved down the street from mine and Casey's childhood home. Summer had just started and me and my dad were waiting for Casey to get off the bus so we could throw water balloons at him. Long story short, we ended up hitting the girl that had just moved in, she was my age, and we were best friends until I moved to France."

"Okay, well that's one time."

"Uh, well....To make an even longer story short, I meet my best friend Gabríelle in a water balloon fight."

"Oh, I've never heard you talk about her before."

Kylie stops, and crosses her arms around her chest. Leo stops beside her, looking down at her to make sure he didn't hit a sore spot.

"Oh, you're right. I'm a really bad friend. I don't think I've called Gabbi in at least 3 weeks." Kylie realizes

Leo puts a hand on her shoulder.

"Well you were a little busy helping stop an alien invasion, so I think she can forgive you."

Kylie smiles up at him.

"I should call her later, it's day time in France."

Leo nods before looking out along the parking lot.

"So, where are the water balloons?"

Kylie points to her left, to the small tree with a clear tub underneath. Leo chuckles, before removing his hand from her shoulder and walking over. Kylie frowns at the loss of contact, but walks over to her car and begins to strip.

Leo looks up bewildered before quickly snapping his attention the other way. However, the male in him enhanced his curiosity. He didn't know if he was relieved or upset when he realized that Kylie had clothes on underneath her sweater and jeans. The blue and black surf suit she was wearing, clung to her body; defining her natural curves.

Kylie turns to him after throwing her outfit into the car.

"Were you watching me change Leonardo?"

"No-" He says quickly

Kylie leaned against the side of Casey's car, her eyes toying with him.

"Sorry." He mumbled

Kylie laughs and shakes her head

"You're lucky I changed into my surf suit at home. Otherwise I'd actually be upset."

Leo gulps and holds the tub awkwardly as he waits for Kylie. She walks over to him and looks up. She then starts laughing and shakes her head before heading back towards the park.

Leo follows behind her, a good distance between them. Kylie stops and looks back at him.

"Put down the tub."

Leo obeys and sets the tub down beside him. Kylie steps closer to him.

"Lean down some."

Leo gulped internally, expecting to be slapped. But he obeyed, knowing he'd deserve it. However he is surprised when Kylie wraps her arms around his neck, holding him in a tight embrace.

"I forgive you Leo. It technically wasn't your fault because I began to strip in public, but I knew I had clothes on underneath. Next time, just keep your eyes turned the other way."

"Yes ma'am." He says jokingly before wrapping his arms around her waist

They stay there for a second, just comfortable with each other's embrace. Kylie pulls away and smiles up at Leo. He smiles back down at her.

"Now that, that's settled. Can you grab the tub?"

Leo chuckles, but nods and picks up the tub. Kylie reaches in and grabs a green water balloon and holds it behind her back. As she approaches, Raph and Mikey have their backs (or shells) to them. Donnie is paying no attention, just tapping away on his t-phone and eating pizza.

Leo quietly sets the tub down and picks up a water balloon from inside the tub and smirks at Kylie.

Leo aims for Donnie and Kylie for Raph. They both position themselves and throw, both nailing the boys in the back of the head. Before they can react, Leo is quick and nails Mikey with one as well.

"WHAT THE HELL?!" Raph yells as he turns around

Kylie fist bumps Leo and Raph fums when he sees the two of them. Donnie is already beside him, looking down upset. Mikey, however, is still bewildered.

"Welcome to the 74th annual Hunger Games! May the Odds be Ever in Your Favor." Kylie quotes before picking up another water balloon and chunking it at Raph. It hits his shell and bust, covering his leather with water.

No one says anything, a tense silence covering the park. Until Raph charges. Kylie takes off and Leo quickly grabs a few water balloons before falling behind her. Raph grabs a ton of water balloons and begins to chunk them at Leo and Kylie.

He's able to hit them with a few, causing Kylie to stumble. But she and Leo quickly escape and find cover amoung the trees.

"Man, what the fuck?" Raph asked

"I think she's challenging us to a water balloon fight." Donnie points out.

"No shit Sherlock." Raph snaps

"Why is Leo helping her? I would be perfect for her time!" Mikey whins

"It's because Fearless is head over heels for her, ya' dummy!" Raph says before flicking his head

"Hmmm..."

"What Don?" Raph asked

Donnie's gaze stayed fixed on the clear tub infront of them.

"I think I know how we can beat them. Come on follow me. Raph grabs the tub and Mikey get the pea shooter ready."

ˏˋ°•*⁀➷ Meanwhile with Kylie and Leo

Kylie lets out a laugh through heavy breaths, her back pressed against a oak tree. Leo laughs from beside her.

Kylie turns over to Leo, trying to become serious. But when she sees the laughter rolling off his lips, she bursts into fits of joy. Both of their laughter fell into sink, and they stayed like that; in harmony.

After a while, the laughter died down and Kylie leaned into the oak tree.

"So, do you have a plan to get us out of here?" Kylie asked

"A plan? This was you're idea." Leo said as he turned to look at her

"Yeah, but you're the leader; this is kinda your specialty." Kylie points out

Leo nods before looking out towards the center of the park.

"They're going to ambush us."

"Oh, obviously. The question is: how do we counter the attack? The trees provide them the cover they need to sneak up on us."

Leo smirked before looking upward.

"We use their advantage against them."

Kylie followed his gaze and smirked before nodding at him.

"COWABUNGA!" Mikey yelled as he jumped down from the top of one of the trees.

Raph and Donnie come in from the sides and circle the spot that Donnie believed Leo and Kylie to be cornered in. However, when they jump down they see no one.

"What the hell Donnie, I thought you said this is where they were!" Raph yelled

"Because they had to be here, there was no other place to hide!"

"Well obviously they're not here!"

Mikey juggled the water balloons in his hands, while he looked up through the trees into the night sky. He smiled, but is quickly frightened when he sees something jump across his view.

"Uh, guys?"

But Raph and Donnie don't hear him, they continue to bicker amoung themselves.

"Guys..." He says as he sees another shadow jump along the tree lines.

But they once again don't hear him. Mikey watches as the shadows begin to circle through the trees.

"GUYS!"

Donnie and Raph turn too look at him, Raph goes to yell at him; but is cutoff by a water balloon hitting the top of his head.

"MOTHERFUCKER! GET THE HELL OUTTA OF THE TREES YOU RANK ASS-"

Kylie's laughs can be heard throughout the trees, rattling across the tree lines as another balloon hits Raph.

"THATS FUCKIN- IT!"

Raph begins to aggressively climb the tree and Kylie lets out a scream. Donnie watched as the trees on his left moved abruptly and the water balloon tub fell to the ground. Mikey was dying of laughter and Donnie watched amused, assuming Leo was coming to Kylie's rescue.

Suddenly Raph fell to the ground with a groan and Kylie quickly climbed down. When she was close enough to the ground, she jumped, but Raph was already standing up. Kylie gulped as he towered over her. She looked up, her eyes pleading.

"Oh no, you jumped down. You're on your own." They could hear Leo say

Kylie looked back at Raph, her eyes innocent.

"Listen, Raph... I was just messing around..."

"I'm going to give you 5 seconds to run." He says through a growl.

Kylie gulps before taking off, laughing into the night sky.
