in his younger years, cadel held that childish innocence like most kids. he was carefree and held no responsibility. however, as he grew older, he was introduced to the real world far too harshly by his father. and that experience and livelihood never seemed to leave him.

on the outside, cadel portrays himself as someone who's charming and a people person. an outgoing, easygoing and just a lively individual. well, don't get him wrong, he does like making friends, sometimes it can just for the wrong reasons. he mostly makes friends and converses with others to get on their good side. he wants people to like him because that gives him a sort of validation that he can seek. even though he knows he's capable of getting people to like him and he knows it's true, he still wants that affirmation for himself. he can be a bit of a narcissist, though that's shown more behind closed doors.

he's intelligent and calculating, projecting confidence and embodying his gift of charisma. even at his young age, it doesn't take much to get others attention. he doesn't mind standing out in the crowd. his determination and sharp mind help him achieve whatever he wants. he is often characterizes by his ruthless level of rationality. his mind staying closer towards the facts and possible outcomes rather than the, impossible. cadel is simply a natural-born leader, in his eyes. even though it doesn't seem like it, he tries to act more like a mediator between people. never truly picking a side in front of the naked eye. but once he gets you alone, it doesn't take much for him to fill your head with small lies of flattery and have you hooked around his finger.

if there's anything caddy loves, it's a good challenge. be it small or large, he'll take it head on. his ability to think strategically and hold a long-term focus while executing each steps of plans with precision makes him a strong individual. and even though he's selfish and doesn't things for his own gain. he can't help but bring others with him, only to leave them back in the dust. now he isn't truly like that, underneath these layers of disgusting filth built by his father, he's just a kid trying to make it in life. however, it will take more than someone simple to help him through this problem. he's critical towards himself and others, finding it easy to be honest towards himself and others. he's compassionate for the works of combat.

cadel likes to stay organized on top of most things, especially himself. even with his mind running rampant, he can keep a calming demeanor. if that means being aloof and expressionless, then so be it. even though he seems like an emotional guy, that isn't at all true. he distances from his emotions, especially in public. displaying any type of weaknesses goes against himself and how he came to be, its easier for enemies to slither their way in. cadel wont hesitate to crush those he views as indifferent, incompetent or lazy. if you aren't able to pull your weight with the group or by yourself and it showed, consider yourself unknown. this can cause him to get frustrated and irritated.

whenever he's around family, behind closed doors or by himself, that is when true colors can be shown. most of the time he may be burnt out from acting like an extrovert. a more stern and venom-filled tongue awaiting for anyone who dares to confront him. during this time he can be cold and over-confident, not being considerate of others well-beings. cadel is also highly judgmental, scrutinizing anyone who comes across his path. he might not say things out loud but behind those friendly eyes of his, you cannot imagine what he's thinking. for his own humor, he might be a bit back-handed towards people he doesn't like. using passive aggressive words to get under their skin and rile'em up.

he does well at hiding his emotions, it isn't every day that someone can get a clear read of him. if he happens to get called out in the open, then he'll simply brush it off. no reason to get angry over their proof-less assumptions. but be prepared if you're off alone, because he will confront you with his defenses raised. though he would be impressed if that were to happen. maybe give a little pat on the back to praise them for their accomplishment. and then say that no one's going to believe them. if this did happen, then that just means he has to work on hiding himself deeper. bring up more lies and cover himself with a golden boy attitude that he absolutely despises. if there's anything that cadel hates, it's himself.

deep down he's insensitive more towards himself then anyone. battling with his mind and body to be this perfect somebody his father tried to raise. his insecurities within himself can be too much of times and when he finally breaks, he might not be able to piece himself together. but then comes the stubbornness he was born with. he's already made up that he can't be someone if he's sitting around being worthless. he cares for his well-being but hardly enough. at times it can even be too much for him to stop and a good slap in the face will bring him back to reality.

- cadel stands at a daunting height of six feet and two inches. because of harsh training and having to care for his physique, his body is quite impressive to look at. he has broad-shoulders with a curved back that flows down into a tapered waist. somewhat defined abs line down his stomach, though they don't look too extreme. his limbs are long and toned, holding muscle in all the right places, though not making him look out of proportion. his body holds a tan shade to it, getting lighter during the winter. faint freckles dot his back and shoulders, as well as the upper part of his arms. thin, white scars littering his body, as well as small moles. he doesn't have that much hair on his chest or stomach, most of it on his legs and arms. his hands are large with calloused palms, slender fingers and shortened nails. his head holds a squarish, yet round shape, fitting well on top of his shoulders. even though his body holds an athletic look to it, his height evens out his muscle and can make him appear slender. his skin has a rough feeling to it, from working outside and not using much lotion. he has a cutting jaw with faint cheekbones, full lips with thin, almond shaped eyes. his brows are long and hold a sort of thick look to them, more closer to his eyes. his eyes hold a dark green color, looking lighter in the sun with a yellow like circle around the iris. his nose has a medium shape to it with a slight, pointed tip at the end. his forehead is well-sized, his hair usually draped over it some what. his hair is at a short to medium length, holding a darkened blond color to it, almost brown looking. the first is long while the back is short, the natural strands having a small wave to them. he styles it parted on either side, towards the front or slicked back. whenever he does smile, you will be greeting with straightened teeth, lips curling and revealing the dimples hidden away. he looks quite pretty actually but displays that masculine appearance easily. while his body is littered with small scars, he has a large ones from past sessions. diagonally, starting under his left peck and going over his rib cage, is a thick, white scar that stretches out and thins towards the ends. he has a jagged one of his right thigh, on his right shoulder and on the lower part of his neck.

BACKSTORY  °

cadel lived in the eight district, his home having to do with textiles. he grew up under an older brothers shadow with only a caring mother to keep him sane. his father was a cunning man who reeked of misogynistic views and still does. and his brother seemed to follow right in his path. when cadel was younger he liked the many, colorful cloths that people spun and sold out in the markets. but his curiosity was flattened by his father when the man noticed his attention towards them. 'spilling these silks are the women's doing. the men are the ones that have it harder, getting their resources for them and providing for the family.' is something along the lines of what his father would say. he didn't want to believe that, why wouldn't they all like the way the cloths looked and how they were made? a question he asked once and never asked again. during his years of growing, cadel was forced to take his fathers extensive training sessions whenever he got out of school. being pushed to his limit almost every evening and returning home with sore bodies was not something he looked forward to. the only person he liked seeing was his mother, the women being the only light of his life. she would remain quiet, never seeming to speak out against his father. when cadel grew old enough to understand his fathers idiotic ways, he would ask his mother why she continued to be with him? why couldn't they just leave them and fend for themselves? she didn't answer and instead shook her head at him, a sad look in her eyes. he was confused and angry at her and himself for not standing up to his father. so one day he did and the result of that was. . .praise. he was praised because he finally seemed to grow a backbone and stand up for himself. this feeling of validation came early and caddy was ecstatic. however, things only worsened from there. the games were going on each year and it would soon be him that would be up there. cadel wasn't sure when his mind got twisted so bad enough that he actually wanted to be up there, fighting people to the end. his fathers mental abuse took a massive toll on him and realizes that now after the reaping and volunteering. cadel had thought of this as another opportunity to show himself but now he just feels like its the escape he's been needing.
