Hello Writers !!!

        If you have that perfect idea but isn't confident it's polished enough to display, or grammar isn't your strongest suit but you love writing, or you've been proofreading your chapters all night that your brain is mushy and fear you might've skipped over typos and etc—all in need of a second pair of eyes, you've come to the right spot!

        As once a new writer coming into the scene, I never cared or knew how important editing was. I never looked for consistency or clarity or even grammar when I was editing, solely looking for typos and spacing problems—which I still ended up having many of. Black Pearl is an example of my poor knowledge (𝘱𝘭𝘦𝘢𝘴𝘦 𝘥𝘰 𝘯𝘰𝘵 𝘳𝘦𝘢𝘥 𝘵𝘩𝘪𝘴 𝘣𝘰𝘰𝘬 𝘢𝘴 𝘳𝘦𝘧𝘦𝘳𝘦𝘯𝘤𝘦 𝘵𝘰 𝘮𝘺 𝘴𝘬𝘪𝘭𝘭𝘴). I still cringe to this day and if readers didn't enjoy the book as much as they 'say', then that shit would've been looong unpublished. I was writing away without a care in the world until I had a sudden epiphany and a desire for perfection.

        I didn't have this kind of support starting out which is the main reasoning of why I decided to do this. I don't wish other writers with beautiful stories to tell to suffer as I did, unmotivated and constantly comparing my work to traditional published books. Which was stupid because obviously they went through multiple rounds of editing...something I didn't know around the time.

        To sprinkle on, I am a perfect candidate for writers of color. More specifically Black writers. As someone who's Black American and has that fear of working with someone who doesn't understand our dialect, culture, etc, and will edit my work with 'Standard English' knowledge—rest assured there will be no misunderstanding on my end. Unless what you're saying is wild or could be spelled completely, your babies are safe in my Black hands. But of course, I do work with all so don't let this discourage you from signing up!

— Kind of long but is as detailed as possible to refrain from any miscommunication—

𝗧𝗛𝗘𝗥𝗘 𝗔𝗥𝗘 𝗧𝗛𝗥𝗘𝗘 𝗦𝗟𝗢𝗧𝗦 𝗢𝗣𝗘𝗡

⎯⎯  Because I'm also a writer with a busy schedule, I can only handle three books/wips at a time outside of my own. But don't let this discourage you from signing up even after they're filled. Once I'm done with a client, then that slot opens for another. And you might be next. This means you will be placed on a waiting list.
                ↳ Once selected, my services can continue until the completion of your book—if there is proof of consistent updates and a plan to complete it. However, I would prefer if your book is already or close to completion. Even better if it hasn't been published yet, so you won't worry about losing inline comments, it's fresh, and there's no rush. But published books are welcomed too.

⎯⎯  Because I know we're infamous for ongoing stories, I'm willing to work with you by editing or proofreading your chapters in one or two batches of 3 to 5 chapters. Up to 10 chapters in total depending on what you have. AFTER I complete those ten chapters, our contract is completed. You will then have to sign up again once you've written 5 to 10 more chapters. This will give other writers a chance to work with me and you time to write your book. 
                ↳ IF your book is already or nearly completed, I can work with you from beginning to end. To keep from overwhelming my brain, I will also edit or proofread your chapters in batches of 3 to 5 chapters. Once I complete that batch, you will then paste the next batch of 3 to 5 chapters in the same document or send me a brand new one. This works best when you have over twenty chapters and write over 3k words per chapter. You DO NOT have to sign up again.

⎯⎯  I work best with Google Documents. It's also free for the most part (both app and site). If you're unsure how to use it, I'm willing to help you once selected. If you feel there is another option you're most comfortable with and is easy for me to edit or proofread, we can discuss once selected. Your personal information—emails with real full names, pfp with real faces and etc—will be protected and stay between us. I'm not here to find out where you live, only to work on books.
                 ↳ Once selected, I do ask you format your document accordingly for better services. Font: Times New Roman or Arial. Indentation: First line, 0.5. Line & Paragraph Spacing: 1.5. Size: 11-13. Each chapter title MUST be set as a 'Heading' or 'Title' so it's easy to navigate. Personal aesthetic setups are fine, as long as the actual text is easy to read. ( If you're unsure how to set this up, I can help once you're selected)

⎯⎯ Both fanfiction (long-fics & one shots of fictional characters ) and original wips are welcomed. All themes and most trigger warnings are welcomed.
                 ↳ Though I will NOT work with themes involving inc!st between step-brothers, step-dads and etc, or heavy BDSM especially when it involves degradation and craazzzzy age-gaps and especially if the MC's a minor. AND you are a minor writing these themes. The only exception I can make with inc!st—as I know every character has a story, and every story doesn't reflect the writer's morals and etc—is if it's a fanfic within GOT/HOTD settings or an overall fantasy-setting and historical fiction setting, but still no sibling or daddy shit especially with the main characters. Age-gaps are fine if both parties are legal, even crazy age-gaps when it's obviously Fantasy and the other is a supernatural being that's perfectly fine. While my job is solely editing or proofreading your books without judgment, I still have to read them in order to help. I'm good with most, but I have my limits and I don't want my name on it.

⎯⎯ I will NOT work with you if you use AI to write for you or any form of AI. I don't care what you use it for. Don't even try to slip it in because I can definitely tell, trust that I can. And I'll block you for attempting to deceive me. Yes, it's this deep for AI. My stance on it is very strong. Real HUMAN work only.

⎯⎯ Please be nice and patient. Remember I'm doing this for practically free. Services that range from hundreds to thousands of dollars. Remember that I'm also human with a life outside of this app and a writer with books I also wish to complete.
                 ↳ If you are harassing me to choose you first, I will not work with you. I also have a right to decline working with you even after I accepted for any reason needed be.

If you are looking for me to edit soon-to-be self-published books where you ARE MAKING PROFIT, my services are no longer free. Prices are negotiable, though I would rather work exclusively with stated sites as I'm still no professional and might not be able to complete the deadline if it's crazy short. Nor might you be immediately chosen depending on who's waiting in front of you.
