โœฎโ‹†ห™ The older sibling of the first child who died, which due to the nullification of the story, believes that their younger brother could still be alive. Due to their brother's death, they've become determined to figure out what happened, and where their brother has gone.
โœฎโ‹†ห™ Has a terrible stammer, which only increases when they're anxious or scared. As a result of their speech impediment, they face ruthless bullying from Jessie Taft's Gang. Although they're one of the losers who has less attention on them from Taft, it doesn't make it easy.
โœฎโ‹†ห™ The leader archetype of the group, brave and determined while managing to get along with practically everybody in the group. This is a new situation for them, as they typically are typically a follower, cowering behind others. Though, with the situation they've been put in? They'll do anything to get their baby brother back.
โœฎโ‹†ห™ The glue of the Loser's Club, as they're the one who pulled everybody in. Although most of the boys knew each other from school, ๐™๐™ƒ๐™€ ๐˜ฝ๐™€๐™‘๐™€๐™๐™‡๐™” ๐™Ž๐™‡๐™Š๐™ is promptly brought in by them. Genuinely a caring person, never allowing rumors to cause them to doubt a person or a cause.
โœฎโ‹†ห™ Their fear is rooted in their brother's death. The guilt they feel, the responsibility they hold. ๐™๐™ƒ๐™€ ๐˜ฝ๐™„๐™‡๐™‡ ๐™Ž๐™‡๐™Š๐™ has nightmares and visions of their brother constantly, as if unable to shake them off. โœฎโ‹†ห™ One of, if not the most mature kid in the group. On the quieter side, getting along swimmingly with ๐™๐™ƒ๐™€ ๐˜ฝ๐™„๐™‡๐™‡ ๐™Ž๐™‡๐™Š๐™, since they're much less obnoxious than somebody like ๐™๐™ƒ๐™€ ๐™๐™„๐˜พ๐™ƒ๐™„๐™€ ๐™Ž๐™‡๐™Š๐™. They view themself as much more grown than they are, searching for knowledge and logic in everything they do.
โœฎโ‹†ห™ Well-known around town for their Jewish faith. Commonly getting scrutiny from The Taft Gang for it. Not something that they feel shame for, despite the fact that the bullying does affect them. They're not ashamed of their religion in the slightest, they're just angry, it's something that they're treated as though they should be ashamed of. ๐™๐™ƒ๐™€ ๐™Ž๐™๐˜ผ๐™‰ ๐™Ž๐™‡๐™Š๐™ is passionate.
โœฎโ‹†ห™ Smart, even if they're not the most emotionally intelligent. Everything they think and believe is focused around logic, and the sciences, the mathematics that are behind it. ๐™๐™ƒ๐™€ ๐™Ž๐™๐˜ผ๐™‰ ๐™Ž๐™‡๐™Š๐™ is a nerd, through and through. Though, with all the horrific things they begin seeing? They begin to doubt their beloved logic, fear seeping into their mind.
โœฎโ‹†ห™ Does their best to avoid chaos, which has gotten them out of trouble most of their life. If Jessie Taft wanted their lunch money, they gave it over. If they got their ass kicked, they just went home and cleaned up. Though, now it seems as though the Losers are dragging them into the chaos. Much to their dismay, of course.
โœฎโ‹†ห™ Their fear is rooted in the defying of logic and reason. The supernatural scares the living shit out of them, and this causes their visions to be much more powerful, since anything unexplainable causes fear to be invoked in them.

โœฎโ‹†ห™ Probably one of the biggest assholes in all of Derry, you have the one and only, ๐™๐™ƒ๐™€ ๐™๐™„๐˜พ๐™ƒ๐™„๐™€ ๐™Ž๐™‡๐™Š๐™. Constantly going against the grain, when they act like a brute in the Taft Gang, while still being a big enough dork to only hangout with the Loser's Club. All of which, they tease constantly, especially ๐™๐™ƒ๐™€ ๐™€๐˜ฟ๐˜ฟ๐™„๐™€ ๐™Ž๐™‡๐™Š๐™.
โœฎโ‹†ห™ Despite the teasing, they're really one of the biggest dorks in town. Giant glasses framing their face, and an obsession with the local arcade. Not much is too nerdy for ๐™๐™ƒ๐™€ ๐™๐™„๐˜พ๐™ƒ๐™„๐™€ ๐™Ž๐™‡๐™Š๐™, besides like, actually trying in school and not almost failing their grade again.
โœฎโ‹†ห™ A trashmouthโ€” nevermind having a filter, they're the first one to pop off at the mouth. One of the many, many reasons they're bullied by the Taft Gang. Always coming in with a witty remark, which are quite literally just 'your mom' jokes. They're loud and the antithesis to the other Losers, contrasting with each of them.
โœฎโ‹†ห™ There is one small weakness of ๐™๐™ƒ๐™€ ๐™๐™„๐˜พ๐™ƒ๐™„๐™€ ๐™Ž๐™‡๐™Š๐™'s, it's not their nerdy juxtaposition, it's not their snippy comments or even the bullying they face. No, it's their sexuality, which they've hardly come to grapple with. Something others have come to realize, even before they were able to.
โœฎโ‹†ห™ Their fear is rooted in clowns and other supernatural creatures. Consider it a metaphor for identity, whatever! Clowns just freak them the fuck out. It's something so human, and yet so supernatural at the same time. Have you seen those scary ass smiles? God. They can't do all that.

โœฎโ‹†ห™ The biggest hypochondriac in all of Derry, as a result of their mother's intense parenting style. Might as well be homeschooled, since their mother keeps them locked in the house, constantly. Only really leaving for school or when ๐™๐™ƒ๐™€ ๐˜ฝ๐™„๐™‡๐™‡ ๐™Ž๐™‡๐™Š๐™ goes with them, since their mother likes ๐™๐™ƒ๐™€ ๐˜ฝ๐™„๐™‡๐™‡ ๐™Ž๐™‡๐™Š๐™.
โœฎโ‹†ห™ Bullied heavily due to their wimpish behavior, and constant focus on health and safety concerns. They're very easily embarrassed, and have a nervous nature, but that doesn't mean they can push past their fear. No, they carry their safety supplies on them at all times, and are never seen without their inhaler. Even though this does make them prone to mockery.
โœฎโ‹†ห™ A very angry and intense person, due to how pent up many of their feelings are, due to their mother's hyper obsession with keeping them under control. This results in them being a bit quicker to shoot back at people, not as good at holding their tongue. Often being pushed by ๐™๐™ƒ๐™€ ๐™๐™„๐˜พ๐™ƒ๐™„๐™€ ๐™Ž๐™‡๐™Š๐™. Of course, this is coupled with immediate regret, sending them stumbling back on their words.
โœฎโ‹†ห™ Despite their mother holding them in fear, the Loser's Club truly does help them to gain bravery and push through the worst. Even though it can be difficult for them, they're willing to do it for their friends. Even if they can be real dicks.
โœฎโ‹†ห™ Their fear might be obvious, but illness, germs, death. All of it just frightens them so terribly, and that's not mentioning the cowardice nature that they have due to their mother. It's just fear to be preyed upon. And Pennywise knows that well, even if the kid doesn't have the best understanding.

โœฎโ‹†ห™ The new kid in town, who nobody really seems to have a good grip on. Especially with how they've come to Derry just before the summer? I mean, that's a total bummer, if you really want the truth! Though, the new kid has absolutely no interest in messing around with others, anyways. Preferring to listen to their music, and read silly, little books. A bit of a nerd.
โœฎโ‹†ห™ That nerdy nature along with their plus-sized figure, is quick to attract attention from the Taft Gang, no shocker there. Forced to go outside and play with the other kids by their parents, they're attacked by the Taft Gang left and right, which is exactly how they meet the Loser's Club. Likely the best and worst thing that could have happened to them, especially in such a grim situation.
โœฎโ‹†ห™ Upon meeting the others, it's very apparent that they're the nerd, getting along well with ๐™๐™ƒ๐™€ ๐™Ž๐™๐˜ผ๐™‰ ๐™Ž๐™‡๐™Š๐™. They have a large amount of information on Derry, due to the fact that they studied it before actually moving to the town. This makes them good friends with ๐™๐™ƒ๐™€ ๐™ˆ๐™„๐™†๐™€ ๐™Ž๐™‡๐™Š๐™, who is both homeschooled and interested in Derry history.
โœฎโ‹†ห™ They're thoughtful and friendly, often putting a lot of their efforts into music. They can play quite a few instruments, which ๐™๐™ƒ๐™€ ๐˜ฝ๐™€๐™‘๐™€๐™๐™‡๐™” ๐™Ž๐™‡๐™Š๐™ has showed interest in. โœฎโ‹†ห™ Their fear is most deeply rooted in isolation, loneliness. They're terrified of never having real friends, never sticking beside people. Forced to move and lose their relationships and bonds over and over again. Most of their childhood was spent in isolation, moving constantly. And now is no different, leading to a significant fear of isolation and abandonment.

โœฎโ‹†ห™The 'slut' of Derry, despite the fact that they've never done anything. It really all comes from a cruel rumor that was inflicted upon her by Jessie Taft, the piece of shit that he is. He assaulted her, and rather than allowing her to despair in peace, he told anybody who would listen that they'd hooked up. Fucking disgusting.
โœฎโ‹†ห™ ๐™๐™ƒ๐™€ ๐˜ฝ๐™€๐™‘๐™€๐™๐™‡๐™” ๐™Ž๐™‡๐™Š๐™ is certainly the strongest amongst the seven losers. She's clearly had it much harder than the others, and she's aware of that. Despite her awareness of her situation, she never allows her strong persona to fault, constantly standing as if she were a head taller than everybody else. Confidence exuding with every step she takes.
โœฎโ‹†ห™ Resilient as ever, she's one of the last to join the Loser's Club, due to their initial assumptions about her promiscuity, she suffers mockery from ๐™๐™ƒ๐™€ ๐™๐™„๐˜พ๐™ƒ๐™„๐™€ ๐™Ž๐™‡๐™Š๐™, who she's very quick to tell to fuck off. โœฎโ‹†ห™ Her fears are most present in getting older, turning out like the adults who had failed her, and living the consequences of it. No matter what, there are anxieties she can't shake that have to do with the rumors about what happened to her. A longing to be believed, and in that a fear of never being believed. Similarity to ๐™๐™ƒ๐™€ ๐˜ฝ๐™„๐™‡๐™‡ ๐™Ž๐™‡๐™Š๐™, she is haunted with nightmares and hallucinations.

โœฎโ‹†ห™ The homeschooled kid, who really only gets involved with the Loser's Club after they get their ass beat by the Taft Gang. Also, one of the only black kids in Derry. Of course, there are others, but their family specifically has a generational conflict with the Taft Family, who seem to blame ๐™๐™ƒ๐™€ ๐™ˆ๐™„๐™†๐™€ ๐™Ž๐™‡๐™Š๐™'s family for every small thing that goes wrong in the town. This is due to the fact that Officer Harold Taft's fatherโ€” Jessie Taft's grandfather, was the cause of ๐™๐™ƒ๐™€ ๐™ˆ๐™„๐™†๐™€ ๐™Ž๐™‡๐™Š๐™'s mother's death. This was, of course, covered.
โœฎโ‹†ห™ One of the most kind and charismatic people you will ever meet, they love a simple and honest work. Having lived on a farm since they were young, they see the beauty in all the natural aspects of Derry, and are the most familiar with the environment of Derry, able to work their way around it, seamlessly. This is also why they're the most aware of Pennywise, and the history of the town, able to quickly piece things together.
โœฎโ‹†ห™ Compassionate and determined, they're always putting others before themself. Perhaps it's a way of making their mother proud? But they would rather die a hero than allow someone else to die. They don't think too much into it, since it doesn't feel as though there is anything to look into. They just care about othersโ€” not that hard to understand.
โœฎโ‹†ห™ Very level-headed, probably the most sensible of the group. Constantly going out of their way to protect the others, even if some of them wouldn't do the same. Always has a smile on their face, even in the worst moments, and somehow manages to constantly keep morale high.
โœฎโ‹†ห™ They have two fears, both equally as gut-wrenching as the other for them. Firstly, death in a general sense terrifies them. Invoking the fear of death into them is an easy way to cause them to freeze up, faltering their strong, protector demeanor. Secondly, fire and burning in general terrifies them. Given it was attributed to their mother's death? ๐™๐™ƒ๐™€ ๐™ˆ๐™„๐™†๐™€ ๐™Ž๐™‡๐™Š๐™ refuses to even work with fire.

โœฎโ‹†ห™ Derry, Maine is where this story takes place. It is currently March 21st, 1989. About nine months since ๐™๐™ƒ๐™€ ๐˜ฝ๐™„๐™‡๐™‡ ๐™Ž๐™‡๐™Š๐™'s brother died. This gives the kids until July to defeat Pennywise, since the Feeding Cycle, where Pennywise feeds on fear, lasts for 12-16 months.
โœฎโ‹†ห™ Keep in mind, these kids do not know what Pennywise is, like at all. Nobody does, due to the 27 year period in between each Feeding Cycle. However, we all know that Pennywise is a shape-shifting being beyond human-understanding, which feeds off of children's fears. It uses psychological and physical horror to terrify its victims, before physically consuming them, since their fear makes them taste better to IT.
โœฎโ‹†ห™ So in summary, every 27 years, there is a Feeding Cycle, in which IT torments Derry's children, and feeds off of their fears for 12-16 months. Due to IT's presence, Derry is a corrupted town, which turns a blind eye to the many incidents involving IT. Once the 12-16 months are over, IT makes the town of Derry 'forget' the severity of IT's actions. Ensuring its cycle goes undisturbed.
โœฎโ‹†ห™ This plot takes place in which these seven kids, The Loser's Club, attempt to defeat IT, as they're all tortured by it. This group of kids who are bullied, beaten, and bruised by bullies and even their own parents, are forced to do what no child should ever have to, and face their fears. All the while building bonds, and finding family within one another
โœฎโ‹†ห™ There are many characters who are not really roleplayable. They can totally be featured in your parts, but they're just not major characters. You're also free to create townsfolk, and expand upon certain neighbors of your character, etc! I believe in co-world-building with roleplay, so I'm perfectly fine with it! The only thing that is confirmed is that Officer Harold Taft is the father of Jessie Taft, who has 'The Taft Gang' who are a group of teenagers who torment the Loser's Club, and practically every other kid in town. Not to mention, these characters are very, very big pieces of shit. Most of townsfolk are, due to IT's influence. A big part of IT is that most of the adults in town are not worth trusting. That's why the kidnappings and murders go silenced, and are made out to be much less severe. Of course, not everybody is a bad person, but the majority of people are.
โœฎโ‹†ห™ This is sappy for a horror roleplay, I know, but IT is such a good found family movie. Notice I said movie, not book.
โœฎโ‹†ห™ One more thing to note, if a slot doesn't feature a certain character trait, like Beverly's crush on Bill? It's not required. There's also no 'End Game' couples, so while ๐™๐™ƒ๐™€ ๐˜ฝ๐™€๐™‰ ๐™Ž๐™‡๐™Š๐™ has a crush on ๐™๐™ƒ๐™€ ๐˜ฝ๐™€๐™‘๐™€๐™๐™‡๐™” ๐™Ž๐™‡๐™Š๐™, they're both free to end up with somebody else, or with nobody at all! And while romance is always fun in roleplays, it's not the priority here! It's certainly a fun side-plot, but with the horror and found family tropes? It's not the focus. You're free to do whatever you want with these slots though!

Alrighty!! Roles just dropped, how are we feeling?๐Ÿ˜ฝ๐Ÿ˜ฝ I'm genuinely so excited for this, and I really love these slots. I tried to add a little bit of backstory at the end there, just in case anybody isn't familiar with IT. There will be a form chapter next. Although the descriptions of certain characters, such as Officer Taft are a bit vague here, there will be a more detailed one in the server. Also, keep in mind, if you do not fit the slot, you will not be added to the Discord server. It is not first come, first serve. If somebody fits the slot, they fit the slot, and it will be closed! In the server, there will be detailed locations, character details, etc. Also, all of the slots do not have to be filled for the roleplay to start. The top priorities are Bill and Ben, since they're the two who are around for the longest, where as Beverly and Mike can join a little bit later, since they do in the movie. Hope this helps clear everything up! I'm incredibly excited to post the forms for this, by the way!! :)
