Chapter One: Secret Identity Exposed

"What the fuck?!" Peter yelled as his eyes widened in shock with his hands on his head.

"That's right folks. Spider-Man is in fact, Peter Parker." J. Jonah Jameson of the Daily Bugle announced to the citizens of NYC.

MJ Watson looked shocked to hear her boyfriend's secret identity being revealed to the public. She looked up at Peter who was perched on a light pole and then hugs herself scared as fellow New Yorkers started to surround her. They bombarded her with questions, invade her personal space, and touch her.

"Are you Spider-Man's girlfriend?" One female New Yorker asks.

"It's none of your business," MJ said getting annoyed.

Peter pulls himself together after the shock wears off and comes to MJ's rescue.

"Hey, don't touch her please." He said shielding his girlfriend from them.

"You murdered Mysterio!" One male citizen of NYC yelled.

"No, I didn't. I swear." Peter said.

"Get us out of here, Tiger," MJ whispers in his ear and clings to his arm.

He nods. "Hold on tight, Red."

Some of the fellow New Yorkers start to throw objects at the couple in anger believing Spider-Man and his girlfriend were murderers and killed the "Hero" Mysterio. Peter dodges the attacks and protects MJ.

"People looked up to this boy and called him a hero. I'll tell you what I call him: Public Enemy Number One!" Jameson's voice echoed through the city.

Peter then swings his redhead to safety and they land on top of a bridge. Peter and MJ pull out their phones as they get calls from their friends Ned, Betty, and Flash.

"MJ! Did you see it? Petey's secret is exposed!" Betty said over the phone.

"Bro, I can't believe it. Now everyone knows that you are Spider-Man and that I'm your friend. I am gonna get so many chicks with that." Flash said over the phone.

"Dude! What is going on? I'm losing my freaking mind right now!" Ned said over the phone too.

"Meet us at Aunt May's apartment, Ned. As well as Betty and Flash." Peter said.

"Wait why?" Ned said.

Then three news choppers surround the couple. "I can't answer right now. Gotta go." He said and hung up.

People in nearby buildings look out the window and take photos and get glimpses of the Spider-Man and his girlfriend. "What do we do now, Tiger?" MJ asks trying to keep her balance and not fall.

"We go through the subway. They won't follow us there," Peter said.

He then holds her close to his body and swings down to the subway dodging the train. MJ screams as he is swinging fast and they make it to his apartment going in through his bedroom window.

Aunt May and Happy Hogan have broken up and she is comforting him in the living room. The reason for their split was that May isn't ready for a serious relationship. She liked him and it was fun dating him for a bit but no one will ever replace her Ben. The former couple hears the sounds of Peter and MJ in his room.

They go to investigate and see Peter in his boxers as MJ touches his body. "It's not what it looks like," Peter said embarrassed.

"I didn't see anything. I didn't see anything." Happy said covering his eyes.

"Just practice safe sex okay," May adds and quickly closes the bedroom door. She then walks back to the living room with Happy.

Peter quickly puts on some clothes and follows them with MJ. He pulls down some of the window blinds using his webs. MJ opened the front door to let Ned, Betty, and Flash in as they knocked and swatted other people who tried to come in.

"Ugh, get back you parasites!" MJ said and closed the door.

"Okay, what's the plan?" Betty said.

"What plan?" May said.

"Uh, well you see May—" Peter starts but helicopter noises interrupt him.

They all look out the window and see the news choppers surrounding the apartment complex.

"Okay, what the hell is going on, Peter?" May demands.

Peter sighs. "My secret identity is exposed. The whole world knows I'm Spider-Man." He said.

"Oh, that's bad. Bad." Happy said looking at the TV screen showing a picture of Peter and Spider-Man saying: Spider-Man is Peter Parker. Spider-Menace killed Mysterio the hero.

"But this will all blow over in time right?" Peter jokes nervously.

Rykers Island

Two inmates wearing white jumpsuits in their jail cells watch the shocking news being broadcast on their small TVs.

"Spider-Menace! Governments around the world launched investigations into the murderer known as Spider-Man, aka, Peter Parker, aka, the web-headed war criminal, who for years has been terrorizing the decent citizens of New York. Well now, this city and the world see him for what he truly is a murderer." Jameson said misinforming the public.

"Well, I'll be damned. Spider-Man is just a gringo playing superhero. Are you sure his face doesn't ring any bells, Adrian?" A damaged-faced Latin man said looking across from his cell.

Adrian had his head lowered and his hands intertwined. "How many freaking times do you need to hear it, Mac? No, it doesn't. It's just as much a surprise to you as it is to me." He said getting annoyed.

"Well, I want my revenge. The webhead made my life hell. Now I want to repay him." Mac said salivating at the chance to kill Peter.

"Well, first you need to get out of here. So, tell me. How are you going to do that?" Adrian asks.

"Oh, Hermano. I have friends in high places. Believe me, when I get out of this hellhole Spider-Man will regret ever messing with the Scorpion. So, what do you say, Adrian? Will you join me?" Mac said with an evil grin.

Adrian has a worried look on his face and smiles trying to cover it up. But deep down he is scared for the kid. Sure he's a superhero the Spider-Man but the boy has no idea what kinda storm is coming his way. Maybe he can stop Mac from causing harm to Peter and to his loved ones.

Because he wouldn't be able to live with himself if Mac somehow killed Peter and he didn't do anything to stop him. Adrian may be a bad guy but he isn't a monster. He would never commit murder. Peter is a good kid and he's going to make things right with him and his family.

He then looks across from Mac and fakes an evil smile. "I'm in. Let's squash this bug once and for all."

Parker Residence

Peter, his family, and friends are getting themselves together. "So, now that Peter's secret is exposed. What do we do next?" Ned asks.

"First we have to get out of here," Peter said as he grabbed Uncle Ben's suitcase and packed his superhero suits, Web shooters, and Web cartridges.

"Peter's right. It's not safe here anymore." May said starting to pack as well.

"But where are we going to go?" MJ asks.

"Uh, what about my condo?" Happy offered.

"That won't work. They saw you with Spider-Man in London. They will put the pieces together and then come looking for you too." Betty said.

"Wait so that means we are on the run?" Flash asks.

"I'm afraid so," Peter answers.

"For how long?" Flash asks.

"At least until I find a way to clear my name," Peter said, and then his Spider Senses tingled as a group of thugs with guns ran up the steps to the front door.

"Use the fire escape to get to the roof everyone," Peter said and tosses extra web-shooters and cartridges to Ned and Flash.

"Freaking cool," Flash said in awe.

They go out the window and run the stairs of the fire escape to get to the roof of the apartment complex. Peter without his suit on him goes into the hallway to battle the armed thugs. He was able to easily take down the bad guys and web them up. But more were coming so he went to the roof and helped Ned and Flash with the rest.

Flash was grinning like an idiot even though this was a serious moment as he couldn't help but be happy that he was fighting bad guys with his hero and idol Spider-Man. Even more, thugs came and it felt like it was endless and started to surround them pushing them to the edge but luckily Happy had called in a chopper earlier and was en route to the roof.

"Get them to Feast, Happy," Peter said as the chopper got close.

"Wait, Peter. No, we can't leave without you." MJ said.

"Just trust me. I'll be there soon." Peter said.

"You heard the Webhead. Get to the chopper." Ned said with a cheeky smile.

Peter now blooded by the fighting holds off the thugs for a few more minutes as his loved ones get onto the chopper. MJ presses her hand against the window and tears stream down her face as she sees him getting beaten up with weapons. Betty comforts her as the chopper lifts off the ground and goes to Feast.
