ย  ย  ย  ย  ย ย  "SHE'S SUFFERED A SEVERE LACERATION TO HER LARYNX," Grace stated as Allison was placed on a hospital bed. After the boys got to the cabin, they all immediately rushed back to the Hargeeves mansion where Luther carried Allison inside. While it was all a blur, Starr doesn't know if she's ever recovering from tonight. Grace looked up from a bloodied Allison, "One of you will need to give blood."

They all perked their heads up and said, "I will."

It all broke out into a short bicker, but Pogo quickly shut down Luther's offer. Klaus looked up, "hey, don't sweat it. I โ€” I got this, big guy."

"Your blood is... how should I put this... too polluted," Pogo stated.

"Hey, I owe Allison my life for tonight," Starr signaled to herself. "If it's any one of us in this room should do it, it should be me," Pogo shifted his gaze to Starr then to Grace with a nod who lifted a very pointy needle, causing Starr's eyes to widen in fear, "I'm good โ€” my blood is very polluted as well."

Pogo raised an eyebrow as Starr let out a sigh of relief, but when a loud thump came from the other side of the bed, they turned their heads to see Diego passed out on the floor from the sight of a needle. Five and Starr shared a surprised glanced while Pogo drifted his gaze to Grace with a stoic expression and a nod.

"Stick him."

ย  ย  ย  ย  ย ย  "IT'S NOT EXACTLY WHAT I WAS EXPECTING," said Klaus as he took his first glance at a dead Harold Jenkins who was lying on the floor, bloodied up and sharp objects galore pinned in his chest and on his face. Diego, Five and Starr stood behind him all looking down and all could say they were terrified at what they saw.

"The understatement of the year," Five quipped.

"No sign of Vanya," Klaus added.

"Let's get out of here before the cops come," Diego suggested.

Starr nodded, "I was waiting for when you'd say that."

As the trio began to head out, Five knelt down beside him and took something from his pocket, "In a minute."

the trio sighed and turned to see Five with the fake eye, taking off the eye patch. Klaus knelt down in front of Harold and Five just as he began to put the fake eye in, which caused Starr to gag, "Ugh, really?" Five mouthed a sorry in an annoyed manner as he placed the fake eye in.

"Same eye color, same pupil size," Five marveled. "Guys this is it. The eye I've been carrying around for decades, it โ€” it's found its rightful home."

"We got the guy we need to stop the apocalypse," Diego said.

Klaus lifted a fist to celebrate in a sarcastic manner, "Yay! Let's go."

Before Klaus could leave, Diego grabbed him by the collar, "No, no, wait. It can't be this easy," Five stood up and showed the three a note, "Look, this is the note I got from the Commission: it says, "Protect Harold Jenkins" aka Leonard Peabody. But who killed him?"

"I have a crazy idea. Crazy, but why don't we find Vanya..." Klaus suggested just as Five blinked himself back to the Umbrella Academy.

โ–…โ–…โ–…โ–…โ–…โ–…โ–…โ–…โ–…โ–…โ–…โ–…โ–…โ–…โ–…โ–…โ–…โ–…

ย  ย  ย  ย  ย ย  ONCE THEY GOT BACK TO THE ACADEMY, THEY ALL SEARCHED through the halls and every room for a sight of Vanya to see if she was there and if she did what they think she did. After a long search, they didn't find Vanya โ€” anywhere. Everyone met up second floor hallway after their failed attempt at finding her.

"No sign of Vanya," Five announced.

Diego walked in beside Five, "She's not in any of the rooms."

"She's not downstairs, either," Klaus added.

Diego patted Klaus's shoulder as he made his way to the stairs, "Well, I'm out."

"Wait, where are you going? Vanya's still out there and so are Hazel and Cha-Cha," Five reminded.

"I know. I'm gonna get my things and then I'm outta here," Diego replied. "I got some unfinished business with those fools."

Starr and Klaus sighed, leaning on the railing just as Five spoke again, "Hey, did dad say anything about the apocalypse when you spoke to him? Any clues as to how it happens?"

"No โ€” no clues," Klaus shook his head. "Truly terrific shave, but no clues."

Starr raised her eyebrows, "Terrific shave?"

Klaus nodded, earning an eye roll from Starr which caused Five to deadpan at the both of them. Five then began to head downstairs with Starr trailing behind, along with Klaus, "You know, come to think of it, he did mention something about my potential and how I've barely even scratched the surface of my โ€”"

"How did he know about the apocalypse?" Five inquired.

"I don't know, but listen! This whole jumping through time thing of yours, how did... how did you know how to do that?" Klaus asked as the trio stopped in the foyer of the academy.

"I didn't," Five replied. "You'd realize that if you were actually sober."

Starr let out an ooh as Five began to make his way into the foyer ( until Klaus spoke up again, whining ), "Hey, I am sober! I've been sober for two โ€” almost two days now. It feels more like forty five years..

"Oh, wow! Two days? Okay, what's my name?" Starr asked.

Klaus tilted his head, raising an eyebrow, "Samantha, right?"

Starr sighed, "Well, we've moved past from Sarah and that's good enough for me."

"Who are you kidding, Klaus? I've seen you fidgeting all day," Five snapped.

Klaus stepped towards Five, "Well, I a guess we're both fighting our addictions, then."

"I'm not an addicted," Five stated.

"Yeah, you are," Klaus replied. "You're addicted to a drug called the apocalypse."

"You're wrong."

Denial, Starr thought.

"Fight sign: Denial," Klaus pointed as he turned away.

Starr's eyes widened at him, as if he read her thoughts and that for once, they might have been agreeing on something, thwt they were on the same page.

Five then blinked right in front of Klaus, prevented him from going further, "You and I, we're not the same."

"I've seen that look in the eye of someone who doesn't know who they are without their high anymore. Trust me, you gotta just let it go," Klaus insisted.

Five threw a glass and then headed to the living room, leaving Klaus and Starr back outside.

โ–…โ–…โ–…โ–…โ–…โ–…โ–…โ–…โ–…โ–…โ–…โ–…โ–…โ–…โ–…โ–…โ–…โ–…

ย  ย  ย  ย  ย ย  NOW AT THE BAR AREA, FIVE AND STARR WERE SITTING with Dolores ( well, it was mostly Five ). Starr just stood there squinting her eyes at how he could talk with an inanimate object. She leaned over the bar with her arms crossed and chin resting on them, her gaze drifted to a glass she had water in since she couldn't drink, but made bubbles in it to "look cool."

Five tried introducing Starr to the mannequin a few times, but she denied 'cause she wouldn't talk to an object thwt wouldn't talk back.

Starr scoffed, "Can't believe I'm third wheeling a mannequin."

"Well, that's all you gotta worry about now," Five stated. "Since there's no more apocalypse, this and when Klaus gets your name right 'cause that's when you know something's wrong."

Starr let out a snort, but then a knock came from the door, causing the two to turn their heads. Five said he'll get it and went to the door, but Starr's curiosities got the better of her and she followed him to the door anyway. As they got to the door, Five opened it and saw Hazel on the outside with a gun pointed directly at them. This caused Starr to widen her eyes since the last time she saw him was with Cha-Cha at the fight in the kitchen downstairs.

"Do you have my sister? If not would you like a margarita?" Five asked with a deadpan.

As Five left them, Hazel walked in and closed the door, but still with a gun in his hand. Starr stared at him as she trailed from behind, slowly walking out of fear.

When they got back into the bar, Starr and Five sat down, Hazel still stood in front of them with the gun pointed right at them. Five squinted his eyes at the gun still in his hands, "You here to kill me?"

"Oh. Shit. Sorry, old habits," Hazel put the gun in his pocket. "Well, I can understand why you might feel that way, you know..."

"Well, you attacked our house, tried to kill our family and kidnapped my brother," Five listed.

"Well, there's not much I can do about the past and don't forget I'm not the only killer in this room," Hazel said. "You got your own bloody history, pal."

Starr craned her neck to Five and raised an eyebrow, but Five didn't even give a side eye and just shrugged, taking a sip from his margarita, "Speaking of which, that job you did in Calhoun, that shit's legendary. Can't believe I'm actually sittin' here talking to you after allโ€”"

"-Hazel, why are you here?" Five questioned.

"Well, I โ€”"

Before Hazel could explain, Diego came running in from behind and kicked him to the floor, "Diego, stop!" Five shouted as Diego flipped over Hazel, who was just getting up from his spot on the floor. Hazel was on his knees, drifting his gaze up to now see Diego giving him a swift kick in the face.

"You know, before you kill him, you might wanna hear what he has to say," Five suggested, but it was useless.

Then, Diego got a knife out from his pocket, "I'm gonna kill you for what you did to Patch."

Just as Hazel was gonna try to talk it out, Diego swung the knife at Hazel, but he managed to block it, "Hey, maybe we should just let 'em work it out on their own for a while," Starr said, a little entertained. Five shrugged and they turned their heads back to the two grown men fighting in the living room.

As they continued fighting, Diego stabbed Hazel in the leg, causing Five and Starr to squirm, but Hazel pulled the knife and they continued. When Hazel lifted Diego up, it resulted with Diego biting Hazel in the neck. Five put down his drink with a sigh and blinked over to throw a glass vase on Diego's head, "I draw the line at biting."

"He tried so hard too," Starr sighed, looking at Diego on the floor with a frown.

"Hazel, whatever you came here to say, I suggest you make it quick, before he comes around," Five said.

"I left my partner, quit the Commission, came to volunteer," he explained.

"For what?"

"To help stop the apocalypse," Hazel replied.

Five chuckled, but to Hazel this was not a laughing matter ( he obviously didn't know they stopped the apocalypse ).

"What on earth could be so funny to you right now?" Hazel asked

"Before I answer that, why do you wanna help us?" Five wondered.

"Let's just say I have a vested interest in a doughnut shop," Hazel replied.

Starr's eyes widened in shock, not expecting this from the ex-assassin, "Well, I hate to break it to you, pal, but you're a day late and a dollar short. The fact that you're here right now means, without a shadow of a doubt, that the apocalypse."

"Really? How do you know?"

"The mark is dead," Five told him. "Found him this morning and you were the last known unknown left in then equation."

Hazel chuckled, "Shit. Really?"

"And if you're out, then Hellrider ain't right,"

Starr nodded, "So, I hope your place does better than Dunkin."

Hazel flashed a smile, letting out a sigh of relief and a few laughs before sitting down in between Starr and Five. Starr passed him a jug of whatever Five was having and he chugged the whole thing.

He put down the jug and sighed, "So now what?"

This was Starr's questioned exactly. Now that they stopped the apocalypse, life seemed to go back to its normal boring self ( besides the family of super-children ). Then Starr would have to go back home, which seemed like the last thing she wanted to do after all this.

"To be honest... I don't know," Five shrugged. "I've been chasing this thing for so long, I... I never really thought about the day after."

Him and Hazel chuckled. It was weird for Starr seeing Hazel after... the fight. Now he just looks like a regular guy โ€” when he's not in a world ending fight with the family, "I don't know... what about you??

"I'm done with all this madness," Hazel replied. "Time to start over โ€” you should do the same."

"That's easier said than done."

That would be true.

"It doesn't have to be hard. I mean, think about it like this: if you never time traveled, you never got caught up with the Handler, what would happen?"

Five turned around to Diego who was lying on the floor that has been covered in glass, "I guess I would have grown up to be an emotionally stunted man-child like everybody else around here."

Hazel chuckled, "Well, there you go," he then turned to Starr, "And what are you gonna do when you're not blasting light in my face?"

Starr flashed him a light smile, "Sorry about that."

"It's fine."

"I don't know what I'll do, but I think my mom's got it all planned out for me already," she shrugged. "I never really knew what I'd do on my own."

"Well, now you both can grow up," Hazel said as he got up and left.

Before he could leave the room, Five turned around, "Hazel, one more thing before you go."

"Shoot."

"Which one of you was the trigger man for Detective Patch?" Five questioned.

"Trigger woman," Hazel corrected.

Five frowned, "Huh, that's too bad. That gun could've cleared my brother's name."

"Well, today's your lucky day, amigo โ€” take 'em both."

Hazel placed the guns down on the table, "I'm done with this life."
