Β Β Β Β "THREE DAYS? STARR, YOU'VE BEEN tagging along and hanging out with him all week and you didn't care to mention the three days?" Allison ranted as she handed Luther a coffee and Klaus put a hand on his chest at the mention of the two hanging out with a aww in a sarcastic manner. In response, all Starr did in response was give him a look before turning back to Allison.
Starr sighed, "Well, that's what he said β and Luther knew too!"
Klaus fixed his position on the floor and grabbed a cup of coffee, "the old bastard did mention the apocalypse, come to think of it," he sighed, "he just left out the part about how soon."
"But can we trust him? I don't know if you've noticed, but Five's a little..." Allison whistled, whirling her finger beside her head.
Klaus chuckled, "Our little psycho."
Starr sat up from leaning on the wall, "Okay, look. Is he a little... yeah? But isn't his little heart in the right place β I mean, we wouldn't even know about doomsday if not for said... brother?"
They all looked at Starr, furrowing their eyebrows in complete silence before Luther spoke, "Point is, he was pretty convincing,"Luther stated as Allison stood next to him, "If he wasn't trying to stop an apocalypse, those lunatics wouldn't be chasing him."
"Isn't that what I just said?" Starr snapped
Luther nodded, "Yeah, but I said it better."
"That's why they were after him?" Diego cut in.
Luther nodded and Allison turned to him, "What did Five even see?"
"Uh... apparently, we all fought together against whoever was responsible," Luther clicked his tongue and stood up. "Okay. So, here's the plan: uh, we go through dad's research β"
Everyone spoke up in disagreement as Luther sat up and turned to Klaus, "Wait... what actually happened the first time around?"
"Yeah, what aren't you telling us? Come on, big boy, spit it out,"
Luther sighed, drifting his gaze to his coffee, "We died."
"What was that?"
Luther coughed after taking a sip, "I said, uh, we died."
Then, the room went completely silent until Klaus dropped an umbrella on the floor and yelped . Everyone drifted their gaze to the floor and sighed in annoyance.

Β Β Β Β Β FIVE AND THE HANDLER WALKED INTO THE BUILDING of the Commission, through the sea of employees that were dressed in the same bright and dark blue long coats, most of them carrying briefcases like the ones Hazel and Cha-Cha had when he first saw them. Inside, the two headed up the round stairs with the marble floor and the golden railing; the sun shining outside, beaming into the hall from the windows.
The Handler chuckled as they got up further, "Slow down, Five, all in good time," she said as they got up to the second floor, "In fact, now that you've finally agreed to work with us, we've got all the time in the world."
As Five and The Handler walked further into the second floor, they entered a dimmer room where the only light to be seen came from an office full of the briefcases. The two then headed down another floor, "All the people on this floor are case managers, each one responsible for one major event at a time," she explained as they stopped by a room where the sound of clicking coming from type writers could be heard.
"So many of them,"
"Impressive, isn't it? Being apart of something... so grand," the Handler sighed and then singled for Five to trail behind her once again, "Whenever someone chooses the wrong path and the time line is changed, the Commission gets a report from field agents on the ground," she explained, but something that was really on Five's mind was Starr: how did the Handler know her? But he just didn't know what the right time would be to ask how, "These field reports are sorted and assigned to a case manager. They determine if anyone needs to be... removed from the equation to assure that their event happens as it should."
The both of them stopped at a door which lead to a room that had an elderly woman by a cart placing golden jars by a machine, "Based on that determination, the case manager sends instructions via pneumatic tube to... temporal assassins like you formerly were, Number Five," she craned her neck from the room and back to Five, "Any queries so far?"
This was the right time.
"Yeah. Who was the case manager handling me? And how do you know Starr?"
When the Handler heard Starr's named, a her once chipper features formed into a serious expression, but she put on the facade of a light smile yet again, "Ah. You mean the apocalypse," she replied, "And as for Starr, let's just say I'm the godmother."
A chuckle escaped her lips while Five just frowned in confusion. Then, the two headed to another room where everyone was working on type writers in aligned desks, wearing the same blue uniforms, "Five, meet Dot," Dot flashed a bright smile and waved excitedly, "Dot is responsible for all apocalypse matters. In fact, it was Dot here who first flagged your appearance in 2019."
Dot flashed a light smile, "No hard feelings."
"Well, you certainly put us through the wringer," The Handler stated."Outsmarting two of our so-called best temporal assassins," she let out a chuckle, placing a hand on Five's shoulder, "If that doesn't spell leadership material..." silence fell over the room as everyone turned around in their chairs, "I just don't know. I suspect... you like a challenge, Five."
Five shrugged as the Handler handed him a red file, "Which is why I've given you a particularly complex first case," he took the folder and opened it, "It's too bad Joseph SpΓ€h decided against sabotaging the fuel tank," she chuckled, "It would've been so much easier. Anyhoo... if you have any questions, I'll be right behind you."

Β Β Β Β Β FOR THE REST OF THE DAY, STARR AND THE HARGEEVES SAT in the living room, arguing over who's gonna die. Starr called it denial, but she was doing the same. For most of the meeting, she didn't even get a chance to speak as it was just the adults rambling on top of each other. Since she was the only one sitting in silence, listening to the bickering, Starr heard footsteps coming from the foyer outside of the living room and turned around to see Vanya with that other guy Leonard her and Allison met at Vanya's apartment.
Starr flashed a light smile as Vanya walked in, "Hey, Vanya," everyone turned around at the mention of Vanya's name, seeing her and Leonard walk in. Vanya smiled back with a nod and turned her head back to face her family.
"What's going on?"
Allison coughed as she looked to Luther in an awkward manner, holding a cup of coffee in her hand, turning back to face her sister, "It's a family matter."
"Family matter," Vanya repeated with a shrug, "So you couldn't even bother to include me," Starr knew what Vanya meant from all the stories Allison told her about her and her siblings when they were kids and how Vanya was always left out. Also the new footage she saw of Vanya alone, playing the violin.
Luther shook his head, "No, it's not like that."
"Please don't let me interrupt,"
Just as Vanya was about to head out the living room, Allison stopped her, "Please, Vanya. I'll fill you in later when we're alone."
"Please, please, don't bother," Vanya shook her head. "And I won't either."
"Vanya, that's not fair,"
Vanya raised an eyebrow, "Fair? There's nothing fair about being your sister," Starr made an ooh in a low tone as Diego nudged her arm, "I have been left out of everything for as long as I can remember," Vanya stated, "And I used to think it was dad's fault, but he's dead, so turns out you're the assholes."
Then, Vanya left with Leonard trailing behind her. Allison turned to the others, "I'm gonna go find Vanya," but then Luther stopped her for a moment.
"No, wait, there isn't time," Luther stated. "We need to figure out what causes the apocalypse," this made Allison slowly turn around to listen, "Now, there are loads of possibilities. Nuclear war, astroids, but I'm thinking this is about the moon, right?"
Starr groaned, "Ugh, we get it! You were on the moon!"
Luther furrowed his eyebrows at her before continuing, "Dad must have sent me up there for a reason," Starr leaned forward over the table as he continued, burring her head in her arms, "And I was giving him daily updates on the conditions, I sent field samples. So, the first thing we need to do is find his research."
Klaus sighed as he sat up, "Hold the phone," Luther turned to face his brother, "We all died fighting this thing the first time around, remember?"
"Klaus, shockingly, has a point," Starr gasped at Diego's statement in a sarcastic manner, "What gives us a win this time?"
"Five. Last time we didn't have him, we weren't all together," Luther replied. "This time, we'll have the full force of the Umbrella Academy β and Starr too, I guess."
"So, where's Five now?"
"Well, we had a plan to change the time line," Luther told her. "He'll be back soon."
"I'm going after Hazel and Cha-Cha,"
Starr sprung up from her seat, "Ooh! Can I come!"
Diego shrugged as Starr let out a yes enthusiastically and trailed behind him. After a short bickering that occured between him and Luther, everyone started heading out one by one, accepting that without the full force of the Academy, the apocalypse was inevitable, especially having no leads of who causes it.
