Chapter forty one,

this is happiness

    "WHERE ARE THEY?" Gale ran towards the the two carpenter sisters, with worrisome that was clearly written all over her face, as right behind her happen to have been Mindy and Anika. She had received a call from the two girls about their attack on the subway, and the culprit being Jodie, she didn't even hide it or worn the attire, "Minnie and Chad?" She asked once, again.

   Mindy who's eyes widened at the man who was from a far distance, and handcuffed with a devilish grin forming on his face, especially with all the cameras surrounding him, as he turned towards the friend group, and had sent Mindy a wink, he knew exactly who her family is, "Weird. . . But, is that her dad?" She slowly swallowed her saliva.

   Gale who had quickly turned to where the girl was glancing at, she had easily seen Mickey, as he offered her a wink, as well only leaving Gale to flick him off before her eyes drifted towards the guy she would seen, and Kirby whispering something in his ear, "The one and only Mickey Altieri? Yeah. . . And, Santiago." She swallowed down her saliva, as sadness quickly appeared in her face, she was hurt by the stunt he had pulled.

   Was he even interested in her?

   Santiago felt someone's eyes on him, eyes softened at Gale who turned back around, she was going to keep her stance — Unless, he has a damn good apology. Santiago, sighed and had shook his head in completely disappointment at himself, and decided to carry on with what he was supposed to do, and be ahead of Kirby Reeds to meet her on the other side.

   The sound of paramedics who were rushing out, loudly yelling out that captured everyone's attention, that also including Mickey Altieri, a smile was seen on his face when he seen his daughter who was smiling, and walking right her boyfriend who was on a stretcher and an oxygen mask on, "Hey, we've got two over here!" Pointing at their direction, As Gale had exhaled her breath.

   Minnie, and the baby were safe.

   That including Chad, all three were safe.

   The friend group had slowly approached them, Gale being the first one to speak up, a smile was placed on her face, "You're both so grounded. . . Never, again." She had shook her head, Minnie pulled her into a hug, "I'm never going to leave you, you have me until forever." She choked up on her sob.

   Gale hugging her back, placing her cheek on the top of the girls head, soothing the teenage girls back, "Damn right, you're supposed to be the one to bury me when I'm old and wrinkly." She scrunched up her nose, a light chuckle had escaped her lips despite her eyes that were just getting watery.

   Tara stood afar from the group. She didn't feel welcomed, but it was her fault. She had betrayed Jasmine, her friend. She began to like her boyfriend, and still does. . . But, she had also chose to believe a strangers lies, a part of her wishes she can take everything back. But, she made her choice.

   Jasmine giggled, "Bitch."

   Gale who playfully scoffed, "Asshole."

   The friend group had decided to laugh, as Sam had easily asked Chad a simple question, her eyebrows were just furrowed, "How are you alive?" She questioned.

   Jasmine easily reminded them since Chad couldn't really speak with the oxygen mask that covering his mouth and nose, "Because they weren't even that good masked killers. . ." She pointed out before she had shrugged her own shoulders, "Though, I'll give Detective Bailey some credit — Don't, look at me like that, he was brutal like a few of the previous ones." She innocently mumbled.

   Gale nodded her head, "She's not wrong."

   Jasmine grinned, "Please, I'm never wrong." She had easily developed a smug look on her face, "Stay educated, or listen to me. You know it's final girl things, ask Aunt Sydney." She had reminded.

   Chad was slowly attempting to move his hand, as Jasmine seen his movements as she had furrowed her eyebrows , "What's wrong, baby?" She slowly questioned, it was then that she glanced down, and understood what he was referring to. He wanted to feel her bump, he also needed to make sure their daughter is okay.

Jasmine had gently grabbed his hand, and pulled her shirt upwards, the warm sensation of his skin on her stomach, it was always so comforting, gently speaking, "She hasn't been as active since you were stab—" She had gotten interrupted when she felt several kicks, "Oh my God, she just kicked me like she usually does, she just kicked me!" She had interlocked her fingers with her boyfriend, she felt like crying out excitement.

Happy tears rolled down their eye's.

Gale and the friend-group smiled at the parents excitement, "So adorable. . ." It was then that Sam had spoken, "We have to throw you a baby shower." She smiled.

Jasmine nodded her head, "Totally!"

Anika had spoken up, "It'll be so fun, and I can help decorate. . ." She smiled at her cousin from the excitement, "I can't wait to meet her, Mindy and I are going to be the best Aunts ever ." She had held her girlfriends hand who was a bit still high from the drugs.

Mindy nodding her head, a smile on her face as she was holding her girlfriends hand, "Fuck yeah — Wait, why is Tara over there?" She had pointed her finger behind her.

Jasmine had easily clenched her jaw, and bitterly responding, "Because she's a bitch, she shoved me back into the room where Chad was stabbed, and has easily trapped me with, Jodie who was Ghostface. . ." She snapped, Chad had felt his eyes widened, jaw clenching if only he wasn't stabbed, right now, "I stabbed her, Tara. She's lucky to be alive, right now because you know I would've killed her. She's lucky that I had no axe with me." She venomously spat.

Sam frowned, "I'm sorry, Jasmine about her."

Jasmine retorted, "You have no reason to feel sorry, Sam. She needs to apologize to Chad and myself. And, apologize like she means it, and to give up on her delusional dreams." She loudly spat, as that made Tara flinch.

Gale has narrowed her eyes, "Well, she's not going to be coming near you until you give birth, or better yet ever." She placed her hands onto her hips.

A male paramedic had appeared, gripping on the ends of the stretcher, "We have to take him already, that means you as well. . ." He gently said to her, "Have to check on your vitals, and also monitor your baby." He retorted.

Jasmine nodding her head, "O-okay. . . I'll meet you all in the hospital?" Questioning her Aunt and friends.

They had easily nodded their heads, "Yeah. We'll meet you over there, see you in fifteen minutes." Gale had placed a kiss on her nieces cheek before speaking, "Sydney is on her way over here, she booked a flight." She squeezed her nieces hand in reassurance.

Jasmine easily nodded her head, "She's so stubborn, but so am I." She had lightly teased before waiting to get on the paramedic vehicle, as they were putting Chad in first.

Her eyes drifted towards her dad, a smile appeared on her lips and softly whispering to him, "I love you, dad." She had blown him an air kiss.

He had also blown her an air kiss, and calmly whispering back to her, the smile not leaving his lips, "I love you, Minnie." A warm tear had trickled down his eye, as Kirby had ultimately opened the vehicle, and quickly telling him to go inside. Kirby closed the door, glancing at Jasmine who had a small smile appear on her face, tapping her nose.

Jasmine was a bit lost, she had only tapped her nose when she was doing something sneaky, and confusion was laced all over her face, a voice startled her as she glanced away from Kirby and her dad, "Grab my hand." The paramedic had stretched his hand out.

Jasmine easily grabbed onto his hand and getting into the vehicle, a groan had escaped her lips, "This better be the last time a masked killer appears, stupid bitches." She grumbled in annoyance, and sat down beside the paramedic as she had easily held onto her boyfriends hand who was caressing her hand, his eyes also were glancing at her stomach.

They were all safe, and that was what matters. His girlfriend and daughter weren't harmed by these masked killers, and he isn't going to miss their daughters birth, he had so many plans made with them.
