Chapter thirty,

beauty of arguments

THE FRIEND-GROUP just all remained outside of the apartment in complete shock, all while paramedics were just checking them, and also Jasmine Altieri considering that she is pregnant. 

   She was also extremely upset for being held back by two of the paramedics, "I could've gone to the hospital with my cousin, you decided to hold me back." She simply narrowed her eyes at him.

   The paramedic who had simply spoken to her and sounding reassuring, "You can go over there once I'm finished here, your cousin will be fine." He had retorted.

   It was then that Chad appeared back after he was on the phone with Gale, and reassuring her that Minnie and the baby are both perfectly unharmed, "Are they both good?" He raised his eyebrow at the paramedic.

   The paramedic nodded his head, "Both are perfectly good." He casually said.

   Jasmine immediately hopped off the vehicle, "Great. Let's go." Stretching her entire arm out, and just allowing Chad to quickly intertwine his entire hand with hers.

   Chad smiled at her, "I'm so glad you're both not harmed, I can't lose either one of you." He pulled her closer to his body, kissing the top of her head.

   Jasmine smiled, tilting her head upwards and just looking at her boyfriend with also extreme adoring eyes, "And we can't lose you — I can't fucking lose you." Her voice cracked because she really couldn't lose him.

   Her daughter needs a dad.

   She also really needs him, and because like she had once said before a year ago, that if he somehow dies she'd never ever fucking fall in love again. Falling in love with another — It's just fucking betrayal, she can't do that shit to him.

   Chad turned her entire body around, his big hands holding onto her face cheeks before he used his thumb to just wipe her tear, "You're not going to lose me — Autumn and you have me until forever and ever. Minnie – You and I are  gonna be old someday, and sitting on the front porch, reminiscing when we met and how we fell in love." He didn't even realize that he was also crying until he felt her wiping his tears away.

Jasmine let out a sob despite smiling at his kind words as she was gonna speak, she heard someone angrily calling out for her, "What the fuck, Jasmine!" Tara sneered, and walking in a aggressive manner.

Jasmine furrowed her eyebrows, "What!?"

Tara was so fucking pissed — Apparently, she had came into quite the understanding on who the second figure was when Sam was preaching about this one who was protecting them, but mostly, Anika Kayoko.

Attempting to just get into her fucking face only to be blocked when Chad stood in front of his girlfriend, "Back up, Tara." He gritted with his own teeth, it was just insane on how he was just watching the girl he once used to claim as a friend, and trying to threaten his girlfriend.

Tara rolled her eyes, "Your fucking father attacked Jodie and I!" She had pointed to her slight bandage up face cheeks, "But he did way worse to my girlfriend!" She had pointed to her girlfriend who was drinking pain killers, and also groaning in pain.

Jasmine just remained clouded inside her own head, also recalling what Anika said thirty minutes ago, " — I was so fucking close to just dying tonight, but he saved me. I — I didn't want to die, I'm not ready to die, but he was like this angel in disguise." Tears had appeared to form in her eye, her dad had protect them all who was inside the apartment.

But, why not Jodie?

And, why attack Tara?

Jasmine who had whispered harshly, "Then shouldn't that tell you something, Tara!?" She tilted her head, "If he didn't protect her it's for some reason, and you also must've been in the way." She deadpanned.

Tara had scoffed, "Of course you excuse his behavior. . ." She loudly growled in annoyance before taking the argument a bit more further than before, "You're just like him!" She pointed her finger at her.

Sam who was in the corner ultimately overheard, walking over, "Tara! What the fuck is wrong with you!?" She shook her head, and just watching her sisters behavior.

Jodie couldn't help, but smirk.

A smirk that didn't go unnoticed by Mindy.

Chad looked at her in disbelief, "Watch on the shit you say, Tara. Who fucking protected you a year ago!?" He had yelled at her despite feeling Minnie holding on his hand, he was furious at Tara.

Tara continued, fists simply clenching in hatred, "What? how she stabbed Amber two hundred times, and taking it a step further by using an axe to remove her head!?" Jasmine couldn't help, but flinch.

Memories of that night resurfacing in her head, and Tara just reminded her all about it.

Jasmine harshly spoken, "She fucking killed my dad, Dewey Riley! You know the same man who would get us ice cream everyday in fifth grade!? So, she fucking deserved it, and I don't even regret what I did to her because it felt so good!" She whispered yelled at her, also to not get attention from the paramedics or cops who were around.

Tara had gritted with her teeth, and eyes just glaring at her friend, "You're such a fucking bitch, Jasmine. . ." She glanced at the ones who were around them, "I don't even know how you managed to get Chad to fall for you." She had harshly said.

   Sam attempted to pull her sister back, she was appalled by her sister's behavior, "That's enough, Tara. I don't know what's going on in your head, but it has to stop. . . Apologize to her, right now or so help me." She given her a stern look.

   Tara pulled her arm away, "Of course you defend her, you both can get along and I'm just treated like shit. . ." She angrily spat, "I fucking hate you, Jasmine." She walked away, and had approached her girlfriend who had pulled her in her arms.

   Jasmine just had tears rolling down her own eyes, she didn't even understand why Tara was being so fucking mean to her, ". . . I don't even know what I did to her." She sadly mumbled.

   Sam who reassured her, "You didn't do anything." She softly smiled at the teenage girl.

   Chad who had just nodded his own head, and pressed a soft kiss on the top of Jasmines head, "Exactly, Sweetheart. You did nothing wrong, she's — I don't know what's up her ass, but you did nothing." He reassured her.

   It was then Samantha mumbled something to them, speaking cautiously, "Your dad told me that we have to be careful on who we trust, but I don't really get it — He targeted Jodie pretty bad tonight, and when Tara attempted to just intervene, he got mad. Are we sure that she's not hiding something?" She fiddled with her fingers, she was now just cautious of the girl.

Jasmine had softly mumbled, "I say we keep on eye on her, and keep this to ourselves, also
in case there's prying ears." She pressed her body more into Chads front, as he wrapped his arms around her waist.

A figure managed to appear, "Jennifer Jolie."
