Chapter four,

spend the night with me?

CHAD WAS REALLY CONCERNED with the return of Ghostface in Woodsboro, he couldn't help but think about his girlfriend who was sitting in the passenger side, and just staring out the window with his sister in the back, earbuds in her ear and music blasting quite loud. He was mostly worried if Minnie can be targeted at any minute, especially with who her father is, it's why he's never told anyone for her safety, but some chucklefuck in this town knows his girlfriends secret, and is threatening her, and he didn't like it one bit.

   His number one priority will always be his girlfriend, so it was why he seriously spoke to her about it, "I'm really fucking scared if something ever happens to you, Minnie." It had easily captured her attention, and made her furrow her eyebrows, "I can't lose you." He felt his voice cracking, and already parking on the parking lot of the bar.

   Mindy who glanced at the bar, "I'll meet you two inside." She paused her music, stepping out the car and lastly closing the door not even glancing back.

   Jasmine held his hand, "Nothing is going to happen to me. . ." She had kissed his knuckles before jokingly speaking, "If I survived all four stabs from Charlie Walker, I have nothing to worry about." She placed his hand against her face cheek, a smile on her face.

Chad who playfully rolled his eyes, "Don't even bring that back up, again. . ." He was so terrified when he had learnt that Jasmine was brutally stabbed in two thousand and eleven, he had his mom drop him off to the hospital everyday until she was discharged, "It was just torture watching you in pain everyday, I can't relive that, again." His thumb caressed her face cheek.

Jasmine who simply nodded her head and offering him a smile, "I'm sorry. . . You know dark humor is my coping mechanism on these type of situations." She leant forward, and had gently pressed her soft lips against his lips.

She began to pull away until she felt him placing his other hand on her cheek, pulling her into a kiss, he deepened the kiss and it was different than all the other times — It was like they were both pouring their entire emotions in the kiss, he playfully and gently bit onto her bottom lip that made her giggle until they had pulled away needing to catch air, his forehead was pressed against her forehead.

   He just wanted to tell her those three words, but he didn't know if she felt the same way, so he decided against it.

   Little did he know — She also wants to tell him those three words, but chooses against to with the same fear.

   Softly speaking to her, "We should go inside before they search for us." He pulled away from her forehead.

   "Yeah. . ."

Both had entered the bar already spotting their friends, all just beginning to play a game of pool. Though, Jasmine decided against even playing since she didn't understand the game despite at times Chad teaching her, it was just so complicated for her to even comprehend — It was why she was just standing beside her boyfriend, and sipping on her Doctor Pepper.

Jasmine snapped out her thoughts when her friend who was just beside her spoken to her friends, "So what is she like, the sister?" Liv had furrowed her eyebrows.

Chad who excitedly answered, "Sam? Oh, Sam is so cool." He grinned as his eyes drifted at Minnie who was just looking at him with a smile on her face, "Yup! She's cool." Jasmine agreed with her boyfriend.

Mindy let out a snort of laughter on what her brother said, "You only say that because she let you wear Pokémon onesies for a year, and let you take naps with Jasmine. . ." She began to ramble as she lastly added, "Though, what can I say you two are practically inseparable." Referring to how they are now dating, though found it odd since Jasmine was dating Dean, and next thing you know she's barging into her brothers room to see Jasmine and him in a heated make out session, but blurting out that they aren't having sex.

Jasmine who lightly teased, "If you wanted to have nap time with me, you could've just asked me. I would said yes." She playfully winked at her friend who shook her head in amusement.

Chad who easily spoke up, "And I would've brought you back with me, but that's a true statement." He agreed with his sister, and gently pulling his girlfriend to stand closer to him and away from his twin sister. So, he was jealous. . . he knew that.

Their laughter died down when Amber had spoken up sounding uninterested as their eyes focused onto her speech, "No, trust me. Sam is not cool. Her dad left her mom, right? Walks right out when Tara's eight, Sam's thirteen. Sam started acting out, getting in trouble with the cops. And, then on Sam's 18th birthday, she leaves. Ghosts them all." She deadpanned.

   Amber sighed deeply to her friend group and continuing with her little speech, "Maybe Sam's changed. I just don't want to see Tara hurt, again." She slowly said to them all.

   Wes who was just starstruck at what Amber said, "So what, you're protecting Tara from her own sister now?" He just given her a disbelief look.

   Amber who had titled her own head, "Well, someone has to." She answered back seriously, it was why no one was good enough for Tara.

Wes who spoken up, he was in complete disbelief on what Amber is rambling, "Okay, so, no guys are good enough for her, and now her family is off-limits too?" He retorted back.

   Mindy who had intervened, "Mmm, motive. 'If I can't have her, no one can.'" Her statement directed at Wes that had captured all of their attentions, "If I can have her no one can." Her eyes not leaving Wes.

   "What?"

   Mindy who had just continued on with her own speech, "We all know you have a crush on Tara." She had directed this to Wes.

Wes who sighed, "Okay. Come on, Mindy."

   Mindy who had just blabbered some more on what she was saying to them all, "But we're all suspects." She eyed her friends.

   It went deadly silent until Mindy eyed Liv up and down, "Except maybe Liv." She had tiredly said, eyes glancing back down.

   "Thank you." Liv who had taken that as a compliment from Mindy, "You're way to too boring to be a psycho." Mindy eyed her back up and down.

Amber who had her arms crossed, "Well — you know what they always say about the quiet ones, especially ones who hold secrets." Her eyes not leaving Jasmine that easily made her clench her own jaw.

"Excuse M—"

A voice interrupted them that instantly made them all turn their heads, it was Vince who had just hollered for her friend, "Yo, Liv. You want a real drink?" He slowly questioned her friend, "Or are you happy sitting at this kids' table?" A smirk was on his face, as his eyes landed on her friend.

Jasmine who glared at the man, "She's fine over here, you fucking dick." She stood in front of her friend, and simply defending her.

   Vince who grinned widely, "You can join us, Minnie. . ." Jasmine alongside Chad had felt their jaw ticking that this man had used this fucking nickname on her, "I'm sure he's boring you." He chuckled.

   That was enough for Chad to step in already pissed, "You don't ever call her that name," His voice began getting aggressive, "Or, look at my girlfriend and her friend in that way." He had snapped, and getting up close to Vince.

   Vince who chuckled, "Was I talking to you?"

   Chad who interrupted, "I don't care who you're talking to." He yelled at him, Jasmine who was watching the scene unfold, and just wondering when she should intervene.

   Vince who looked past Chads shoulder, and just eying both girls in a lustful way, "Liv, let's go and bring your friend." He retorted.

   Chad who moved and blocking his view so Vince couldn't see them anymore, "Don't you fucking be talking to Minnie. I don't want to hear your voice!" He snapped.

   It was then Minnie had noticed that Vince pulled out a pocket knife, and making her just rush over towards Chad, and standing in front of him. Was it a stupid thing to do? Yes, but she didn't want to see him hurt. Chad had placed his hands on her hips, and placing her behind him.

   Vince who chuckled, "Shut the fuck up, and take your bitch away from my face, or I'll gladly give her a stab — Whole town already knows she got plenty another one wouldn't hurt." And that only pissed off Chad, and leaving Minnie to get stuck in her head of what Vince said.

   It was then a bartender intervened the little commotion over here, "Hey! Get out of here or I'm calling the cops!" She snapped at them.

   Chad who shooed him, "Go!"

   Leaving Vince to chuckle until the Bartender had spoken to the friend group, "You kids too! Let's go!" He quickly turned around to glance at his girlfriend who had a saddened look.

   Gently speaking to her, "You okay?"

   Jasmine who just exhaled her breath, "Yeah. Let's just go." She had intertwined their hands as they began heading out the bar.

   But, he knew that she was far from okay. Though, he wouldn't push it until she's ready to speak upon what she's keeping inside.

JASMINE HADN'T LEFT his car as they were just parked beside the trailer, she was just so scared to be alone, but she knew that Dewey was there with her, he was never going to leave her. But, she was referring to sleeping alone in her bed, and when Chad spends his nights over it's like she gets a peaceful sleep.

He noticed she was in deep thought, "What's going on in that pretty head of yours?" He just caressed her knuckles.

A smile had made way into her very own lips when he called her pretty, "Can you spend the night here with me today. . ." She had slowly told him, "It's just that when I sleep by myself, I get a lot of nightmares, but when you spend the night here with me, I can actually get a goodnight sleep." A warm smile displayed on her lips.

He smiled down at her, "Of course, I'll spend the night here with you." He had kissed her forehead, "I'll spend however much nights you want me to." All she had to do was call him and he'd always be here for her.

Jasmine smiled, "Thank you."

"You're welcome."

Though it was then that Jasmine ultimately remembered something, "My dad asked about you today, again." She retorted.

   A smirk made way into his own lips, "You talk about me to him? I'm feeling the love, Minnie." He had grinned at her, as it was cute. Though, he wondered what she tells Mickey about him.

   Jasmine who felt her cheeks redden at his response, "He's asking when I can introduce you to him. . ." She quickly interrupted him before he can say anything, "Though, I didn't tell him when because I want to talk to you about it, and making sure if you ever want to." She reassured him.

   Chad who lowly responded to her, "I don't mind going next time inside to the prison with you when you visit him, but I'm not prepared for the dad lecture." He knew that when you're in a relationship with someone the girlfriends dad are a little passive aggressive.

   Jasmine chuckled, "You're not afraid him?"

   Chad who honestly answered her, "I'm afraid if he won't approve me for you. . ." He pointed his finger at her, "Which I hope he does." He slowly retorted, and keeping the part where he wants to tell her that he loves her.

   He knew that Jasmine Altieri is the one for him, the girl he wants to spend his entire life with.

   Jasmine who felt her smile widening, "Me too. Though, he'd most likely like you." She grinned in excitement, gently pressing a soft kiss on his lips as they stepped out the car and making their way inside the trailer, and just entering a sight that sadden her, her Uncle in the couch with an ice pack on his cheek, and bloody napkins from his bruised up bloody cheek.

  "Oh, Uncle Dewey."
