"Come on!" Harry whispered.
You and your friends arrived at the boathouse and hid somewhere where the Dark Lord and Snape wouldn't see the four of you. Although, Harry made sure that he, you, Hermione, and Ron could see them through the windows.
"You have performed extraordinary magic with this wand, my Lord, in the last few hours alone," Snape told Voldemort.
"No!" Voldemort denied. "No! I am extraordinary. But the wand resists me.
"There is no wand more powerful. Ollivander himself has said it. Tonight, when the boy comes, it will not fail you, I am sure..." Snape told Voldemort, trying to reassure him. "It answers to you, and you only."
"Does it?"
Snape looked at him unsurely. "My Lord?"
"The wand, does it truly answer to me?" Voldemort asked once again. "You're a clever man, Severus. Surely, you must know. Where does its true loyalty lie?"
"With you..." Snape answered with no hesitation. "Of course, my Lord."
"The Elder Wand cannot serve me properly because I am not its true master. The Elder Wand belongs to the wizard who killed its last owner."
Your eyes slowly widened in realization, and you covered your mouth with your hand.
"He disarmed him using that."
You glanced at Hermione and Harry, who were focused on listening.
"Draco. He disarmed Dumbledore using his wand. That's what Harry told me."
Draco Malfoy disarmed Dumbledore. Therefore, Draco Malfoy was the true master of the wand. Until Harry snatched his wand away from him, making Harry the true master of the wand. The Master of Death.
However, Harry returned the wand back to Draco. You blinked in confusion. 'This is all so confusing.'
"You killed Dumbledore, Severus," Voldemort said. "While you live, the Elder Wand cannot truly be mine. You've been a good and faithful servant, Severus. But only I can live forever."
"My Lord..."
With one flick of the wand, Voldemort made Snape bleed, making you gasp softly. Ron held your hand to calm you down. Snape fell down, and his body managed to hit the windows behind him, creating a loud thud.
"Nagini, kill!"
As fast as lightning, the snake attacked Snape. Nagini dug its poisonous fangs on his body in each bite. You would flinch at every attack and look away when it was too much. You and your friends could hear Snape hitting against the windows behind him in every attack that Nagini does.
After that, Voldemort and the viscous snake Disapparated. You, Harry, Ron, and Hermione took the chance and entered the room. Harry sat down beside Snape while you stayed with Ron and Hermione.
Harry covered Snape's wound on his neck to stop the bleeding; however, it was no use. Snape looked at Harry as a tear slipped out from his eye. "Take it... take it up, please!" He told him as he lifted his shaky hand to point at his tears.
Harry turned to Hermione. "Give me something! Quickly, a flask. Anything!"
Hermione hurriedly took out a flash from her bag and gave it to you. You passed the flask to Harry, and he pressed the flask against Snape's cheek, waiting for the tear to roll down inside the flask. Once it was inside, Harry pulled the flask away. "Take them to the Pensieve," Snape instructed, and your friend nodded.
Snape turned to look at you. "Take care of each other, Stark. You and Malfoy." You blinked in surprise, but you nodded.
Snape looked back at Harry. "Look at me..." Harry did as he was told. "You really have your mother's eyes."
And with one final breath, Snape looked away and fluttered his eyes close. You looked down while Harry stood up, clutching the flask tight in his grasp.
A few minutes later, you and your friends left the boathouse. "Harry." Harry turned to you with a confused look. "Draco's in danger." You told him.
"Why?"
"Remember the night when Dumbledore died? Draco disarmed him, making him the true master of the wand."
Hermione widened her eyes. "Then Harry stole his wand, making Harry the true master not until Harry gave Draco back his wand, so Draco is the master again...?"
You shrugged. "I'm not really sure if that's how it works. It's all so confusing. Probably not. I don't know. But I can't let Draco be in danger."
"We all are in danger, (Y/n)." Ron sighed. "Not only the bloody git. Besides, he's on the Dark Lord's side. Why would You-Know-Who kill him?"
You gave him a look of disbelief. "Voldemort just killed Snape, and Snape is a Death Eater. Voldemort doesn't care about anything except for his Horcruxes. Voldemort doesn't fear anything except for his death. He would do anything just to win, even if it means killing his Death Eaters."
Suddenly, your ears started to hurt again, causing you to cover your ears. Hermione and Ron did the same while Harry held onto the railings for support. "You've fought valiantly, but in vain..." It was Voldemort's voice. "I do not wish this. Every drop of magical blood spilled is a terrible waste. I, therefore, command my forces to retreat..."
You hissed in pain and crouched down as you continued to cover your ears. "In their absence, dispose of your dead with dignity. Harry Potter, I now speak directly to you. On this night, you have allowed your friends to die for you rather than face me yourself."
You looked up at Harry, who was breathing heavily. "There is no greater dishonor. Join me in the Forbidden Forrest... and confront your fate. If you do not do this, I shall kill every last man, woman, and child who tries to conceal you from me."

All Death Eaters were gone and have retreated while Hogwarts was left damaged. You and your friends looked around to see a few dead bodies lying around. "Where's everybody?" You asked.
The four of you open the doors to the Great Hall. It was a total wreck. The Hall was crowded with students, teachers, the injured, and the dead. Ron walked in first, followed by Hermione, then Harry and you, who passed everyone. You were unable to process what was going on around you. You and you could tell Harry feels the same way as you.
You saw Professor Slughorn applying dittany to a wound on Filch's arm. "Harry..." He greeted.
The next sight stopped you and Harry dead in your tracks. The Weasley family was gathered around a dead body. You stepped closer and found the body too familiar. It was Fred Weasley. Ginny and Percy both stood motionless in shock, and Bill held a crying Fleur. Molly's head was buried on her dead son's shoulder, while Arthur tried to comfort George as best he could.
George saw Ron and grabbed onto him for dear life, sobbing uncontrollably. Ron's eyes widened, and he knelt over Fred's body, laid his head down on his chest as Molly gently stroked both of their heads. "No! No! No!"
George found you and saw you approaching him. "(Y/n)..." He choked out. You ran towards him and pulled him into a hug, letting George bury his head to your shoulder. Tears escaped from your eyes, and you clutched onto George. "Oh, my God..." You sobbed uncontrollably. "This can't be happening."
You stroked George's hair in comfort as you helplessly stared down at Fred's dead body. "I'm so sorry, Georgie. Oh, God..."
"(Y/n)?" You pulled away from the hug and saw Draco standing beside you. His face had some dirt, and his hair was quite messier than before. Draco glanced down and flinched in surprise to see Fred lying on the ground.
George gave you a sad smile before looking back to his dead twin brother and crouching down beside Ron. You turned to Draco, and more tears escaped from your eyes. "Draco... h-he was young... I..."
Draco pulled you into a hug, interrupting your unfinished sentence. You clenched your fists around his black blazer as tears stained his top. He whispered some sweet and reassuring words in your ear. "It's okay. I'm here. I'm so sorry."
You turned your head to the side and spotted the bodies of Remus and Nymphadora, their fingers almost touching. You clung onto Draco tighter, and more tears slipped from your eyes. Your eyes moved up, and you saw Megan and Peter by the bleachers. Megan looked at you, and her eyes widened.
Megan excused herself from Peter and ran towards you. You pulled away from Draco and caught Megan in your arms. Megan looked at Draco and gave him a sad smile which he returned.
"Oh, my God, Molly." You heard your mother say sadly. You and Megan pulled away and found your mother approaching Molly Weasley. She stopped when she saw you and your sister. "(Y/n)! Megan!"
She hugged you both and kissed you and your sister's foreheads. "Oh, thank heavens you two are well!" Megan clutched on Vivian. "It's good to see you safe, mum."
Vivian spotted Draco, who quickly looked away. "Hello, Draco." She greeted with a warm smile.
Draco glanced at her. "Hello, Mrs. Stark."
She pulled away from you and Megan as she approached Draco, placing her hand on his shoulder. "Please, don't blame yourself for your father's actions. And call me Vivian, it's alright."
Draco exhaled, feeling more relieved. Vivian gave him a side hug and patted his head.
"I lost so many loved ones." You whispered to Megan as another tear slipped away. "I can't bear to lose another one."
Megan shook her head and placed her hands on your shoulder. "You won't lose another one, sis. This war will end."
You looked at your sister and smiled before looking around and noticing that Harry was gone. "Where's Harry?"

You, Draco, Ron, and Hermione were sitting on the Grand Staircase. Ron and Hermione held each other's hands while you were laying your head on Draco's shoulder. Draco's arm wrapped around you, and he gave you a soft kiss at the side of your head.
Soon, the four of you heard footsteps behind, so you, Draco, Ron, and Hermione quickly stood up. All of you looked back to see Harry. "Where have you been?" You asked.
"I thought you went to the forest." Hermione sighed in relief.
"I'm going there now." Harry simply said.
Draco furrowed his eyebrows and looked at him in disbelief. "Are you mad?"
"No..." Harry started to walk, causing you and the others to follow him.
"You can't give yourself up to him," Ron said.
"What is it, Harry?" You asked. "What is it, you know?"
Harry stopped in his tracks and faced you. "There's a reason I can hear them. The Horcruxes. I think I've known for a while." He looked at Hermione, who was trying to hold back tears. "And I think you have, too."
Hermione began to cry. "I'll go with you!"
Harry shook his head. "No, kill the snake. Kill the snake, and then it's just him!"
You and Hermione ran to hug him. Harry hugged back glanced over Hermione's shoulder to look at Ron and Draco, knowing it may be the last time he ever sees his friends.
Harry pulled away and gave you a quick smile. He turned around and walked away.

You and the rest who survived exited the castle as Neville picked up the Sorting Hat that somehow managed to stay in one piece. He looked inside until he spotted someone in the distance. As they grew closer, he realized that there were more people. It was the Death Eaters with Hagrid carrying someone.
You stepped closer when the Death Eaters, Hagrid, and Voldemort entered the castle's grounds. You spotted the person that Hagrid was carrying.
"Dad, who is that?" You heard Ginny Weasley asking when she glanced at her father. "Who's Hagrid carrying?" Ginny looked at Neville. "Neville, who is it?"
Your heart clenched, and you almost fainted when you recognized who Hagrid was carrying. "Is that...?" You asked, gripping Draco's hand tightly.
"Harry Potter is dead!" Voldemort announced.
Draco froze at his spot while you gasped. "No! No!" Ginny screamed as she started running towards Harry, but Arthur Weasley pulled her back.
Voldemort flicked his wand up and glared at Ginny. "Silence! Stupid girl!" Arthur kept Ginny to his embrace as the girl wept in anguish. "Harry Potter is dead! From this day forth... you'll put your faith in me."
You glanced at Hermione, who started crying while Ron held his tears from spilling.
"Harry Potter is dead!" The Death Eaters laughed along with Bellatrix except for Lucius and Narcissa Malfoy. "Ye-he-he!" Voldemort cackled.
Draco scrunched his nose up. 'What the fuck is that laugh?'
"And now is the time to declare yourself. Come forward and join us... or die!"
Draco's eyes widened when he saw his father stepping forward, extending his hand. "Draco! Draco." Draco gulped as he kept holding your hand. It didn't help that Narcissa extended her hand too, smiling at her son warmly. "Draco, come."
You stared at Draco with a pleading look. "Please, don't."
"Draco." Lucius hissed.
Draco glanced at Harry's presumed dead body; however, for a split second, he saw it twitched. Draco blinked in surprise. 'He isn't dead?' An idea came to his mind, so Draco gave you a quick kiss. "Do you trust me?"
You frowned. "You know I do."
Draco smiled at you. "Trust me on this one." Reluctantly, Draco let go of your hand and slowly made his way towards his parents. He was about to pass by Voldemort, but he was stopped by the Dark Lord himself when he who gave Draco the most awkward hug ever. You watched as Draco just stood and froze there, not knowing what to do.
You blinked in surprise and glanced at Ron. "Wh-What are we even looking at?"
Draco closed his eyes from discomfort. 'Uhh, sir, can you please let go? I don't want your hug.'
Voldemort finally pulled away and patted Draco's back while the young man walked towards his parents. "Well done, Draco. Well done!"
"Draco," Narcissa whispered when Draco stood beside her. Draco looked down at her since he was a tad taller than his mother. "The boy's alive."
Draco snapped his head towards Hagrid and looked at Harry in Hagrid's arms. Draco hid a smirk. "Good one, Potter." He whispered.
Neville began to step forward with the Sorting Hat still at his hand. Voldemort spotted him. "Well, I must say I'd hope for better." The Death Eaters began to laugh.
"And who might you be, young man?" You watched as Neville limped forward but stopped when he looked at the Dark Lord.
"Neville Longbottom," Neville answered, earning a few laughs from the Death Eaters.
"Well, Neville, I'm sure we can find a place for you in our rank." Voldemort snickered.
"I'd like to say something."
"Well, Neville, I'm sure we'd all be fascinated to hear what you have to say."
You waited for Neville to speak. Neville ignored Voldemort and the Death Eaters' mockings and glanced at his friends. "Doesn't matter that Harry is gone."
"Stand down, Neville!" Seamus scolded.
"People die every day!" Neville exclaimed. "Friends, family. Yeah..." Neville nodded. "We lost Harry tonight. He's still with us."
Neville pointed his finger to his heart and faced you and the rest. "In here. So as Fred, Remus... Tonks... all of them. They didn't die in vain." Neville turned around to face Voldemort. "But you will."
Voldemort grinned wickedly while Neville continued. "Because you're wrong! Harry's heart did beat for us. For all of us!" Neville pulled out a sword from the Sorting Hat. The sword of Gryffindor. "It's not over!"
Your eyes widened in shock until Harry jumped and rolled off from Hagrid's arms. Draco immediately ran towards Harry. "Potter!" He yelled, causing Harry to look at his previous enemy and now turned friend. Draco threw his wand at him, and Harry caught it smoothly.
Voldemort's grin instantly faded as he locked eyes with the Chosen One. "Confringo!" Harry shot the spell on Nagini, but it bounced off, hitting a bunch of Death Eaters from behind.
Hermione gasped in relief, and you almost screamed in delight. Voldemort shot some spells at Harry as he ran away, but the boy managed to dodge them. Some of the Death Eaters decided to retreat and escape, while others stayed and fought.
Draco ran towards you and saw you running back inside the castle and shooting some spells at Death Eaters who dared to attack you or your friends. He saw one Death Eater pointing her wand at you. Draco acted quickly and cast a spell on her. "Petrificus Totalus!"
The Death Eater's body froze and fell to the ground. You looked around to look for your savior and spotted Draco. "Draco..." You ran towards him and hugged him. Draco picked you up and wrapped his arms around you. "You scared the shit out of me."
"But I came back, didn't I?" Draco chuckled.
"Traitor!" Draco's quickly turned and saw a Death Eater who was pointing his wand at him. "Avada Keda--"
"Crucio!" You quickly cast the Cruciatus Curse to the Death Eater before he could kill your boyfriend. The Death Eater screamed in pain while you turned to Draco. "Draco! Are you okay?"
Draco blinked and nodded. "You just used an Unforgivable Curse to protect me."
You stifled a laugh. "Soon, I might use the Killing Curse if anyone dares to hurt you."
Soon, you and Draco met Ron and Hermione with Harry. "I'll lure him into the castle," Harry stated. "We have to kill the snake."
Hermione immediately gave Harry the Basilisk's fang, and Harry looked for Voldemort to distract him. You, Draco, Hermione, and Ron looked for the snake. The four of you waited for Harry and Voldemort to finish their fight.
Harry divided the way, so the snake was away from Voldemort. When Harry and Voldemort were gone, Hermione stepped out from her hiding spot and threw a rock at Nagini to distract it.
You picked up a rock and joined Hermione in throwing stones at the snake. You glanced at Ron and Draco to be prepared. Ron led Draco to the way while you and Hermione lured the snake to the spot where Ron and Draco could kill it.
The snake followed you both slowly but intimidatingly. You gulped. "This will work, yeah?"
"Erm..." Hermione hesitated to answer.
Ron and Draco quietly sneaked up to Nagini, but the snake quickly turned to them and attacked them. The two boys managed to dodge its attack. However, Ron lost the Basilisk's fang.
You and Hermione immediately joined the boys as the four of you ran down the stairs while Nagini hissed and slithered down the stairs, chasing after you. "Hermione," Ron called out.
"Yes?"
"There's something I need to tell you."
Draco glanced at Ron in disbelief. "Really? Now?"
Hermione shook her head. "Ron, don't say anything that you wouldn't say if we weren't about to be killed by a giant snake."
You nodded in agreement. "Hermione's right. It'll just ruin it."
Draco and Ron shot a spell to the snake, but the snake continued to follow the four of you. You, Draco, Ron, and Hermione landed on the pile of bricks, and the snake was ready to attack you all.
However, Neville came to the rescue and swung the sword of Gryffindor, slicing and killing the snake off. You laid down at the pile of bricks and sighed in relief. "That should be enough to defeat Voldemort, right?"
Draco looked outside and saw Voldemort turning into dust, finally meeting his demise. Like he has snapped away from existence with one snap of fingers. "Look." You, Ron, and Hermione stood beside him as you watched Voldemort finally dead. "It's over. We won."

Harry stood by the broken bridge, gazing at the deep abyss and holding the Elder Wand. You intertwined your fingers with Draco as you both approached Harry with Ron and Hermione. Hermione looked around at the view while Ron picked up bricks and rocks everywhere. The sun was finally shining brightly as ever.
"Why didn't it work for him?" Hermione asked as she turned to face Harry. "The Elder Wand?"
"It answered to somebody else," Harry answered. "When he killed Snape, he thought the wand would become his. But the thing is... the wand never belonged to Snape."
Harry looked at Draco was throwing some rocks off from the bridge. "It was Draco, who disarmed Dumbledore that night in the Astronomy Tower."
Draco froze when he was about to throw another rock and looked at Harry. "What?"
You smiled at him. "From that moment on, the wand answered you, Draco." You nodded at Harry, who still has Draco's wand. "Until, the other night when he disarmed you at Malfoy Manor."
"We still exchanged wands after that, and now..." Harry looked down at Draco's wand. "I still have your wand."
Ron gasped. "So, that means..."
Harry shrugged as he looked at the Elder Wand. "It's mine."
"What should we do with it?" Ron asked.
Hermione raised a brow. "We?" She asked incredulously
Ron shrugged. "I'm just saying, that's the Elder Wand, the most powerful wand in the world. With that, he'd be invincible."
Harry paused and stared down at Elder Wand. He stretched his hands out, giving Draco the two wands making the blonde boy confused. "Take it. Do what you want with the wand. Besides, it was you who disarmed Dumbledore."
Draco shook his head, crossing his arms. "No. I won't take it. Dumbledore trusted you, so you should have it."
Harry gave him a look, so Draco sighed and took the two wands. Draco stared down at the Elder Wand that was now on his hand. He tucked his own wand into his pocket before snapping the Elder Wand in half, destroying its power. Draco tossed the two halves of the wand into the abyss.
You and Hermione proudly smiled while Ron and Harry stared at Draco.
Draco turned to Ron and Harry, shrugging. "What? It's too much power. I can't handle that much power." He explained. "Besides, what else am I supposed to with that? Bury it again with Dumbledore? Voldemort took it so easily."
You nodded. "Good point."
"Also," Draco wrapped his arm around your waist and saw you blushed. "I have you. And that's enough for me."
You looked at him and smiled. "I love you."
"I love you too."
"You'll stay with me?"
"Always."
