Hermione entered the Hospital Wing to find Draco Malfoy preparing his things. Hermione walked in and approached the blonde. "Do you need something, Malfoy?"
Draco turned around in surprise. "Blimey!" He gasped before continuing what he was doing. "Don't sneak up on me like that, Granger. I could've killed you."
Hermione crossed her arms as she watched Draco continue to prepare. "Am I just here to watch you, or do you have something to say?" She asked impatiently. "I still have borrowed books to return--"
"I need you to teach me a charm. A spell."
Hermione's expression changed when she heard what Draco said. "What?"
Draco turned around to face Hermione and sat down on the bed behind him. "Have you gone deaf, Granger? Do I really need to repeat myself to you?"
Hermione shook her head. "Sorry, I just needed to make sure." She sat down on a different bed just across Draco's. "It's quite a surprise that Draco Malfoy would want my help to learn a charm."
"Yeah, I don't like it either." Draco rolled his eyes. "But I'm desperate, and I have no other choice."
"Yes, you do. What about (Y/n)? I'm sure she can help you."
Draco looked down at the floor, clenching his jaw slightly. "That's the reason why I called you here. The charm that I need to learn is for me to use for (Y/n)."
Hermione's eyes repeatedly blinked before gasping out loud and smacking the blonde with her hand. "Oi!" Draco exclaimed. "Careful, woman! Who told you that you could even lay a finger on me?"
"(Y/n) isn't going to like what you're going to do, Malfoy." Hermione scolded. "Whatever it is your planning, I suggest that you should tell her first."
"I can't. If I did, she would disapprove. You know how stubborn she is."
Hermione smiled. "That's why you love her."
Draco cracked a smile in return, stifling a laugh. "Too much, actually." His smile faded as he sighed heavily. "I'll reverse it once this is all over. I can't let her suffer if the time comes that I'm going to die."
Hermione's expression changed into a worried one. "Don't say that. Malfoy, I don't know what you have to do but--"
"If I did die, promise me you won't reverse the charm," Draco stated sternly. "And if I did survive, I will be the one to tell her and reverse the charm. You and your friends aren't allowed to say anything to (Y/n) about this. Even her sister and her mother. Only I do."
"Malfoy--"
"Granger, please." Draco huffed. "I can't believe I'm pleading to keep a promise to a Muggle-born."
Hermione gave him a short glare before nodding. "Alright, fine."
"Good. Shall we make an Unbreakable Vow?"
"No."
"Alright."
Hermione stared at you as you cast protective enchantments around the new area that you three have found. Harry was also casting spells but was glancing in your direction to check how you were doing.
After Ron's departure, you started giving them silent treatment but only speaking if necessary. Other than that, you were ignoring them. Harry glanced at Hermione before sitting beside her. "What should we do?" Hermione asked. "Malfoy's going to kill us if he ever finds out about this."
"I would say it's the least of my worries, but I don't want to encounter a furious Draco Malfoy either," Harry replied, earning a small chuckle from Hermione. "But we have no choice. We might as well tell her something."
After casting spells, you walked straight back to the tent without taking a glance towards Harry or Hermione. Hermione sighed. "I hate it when she's angry. It's terrifying."
Harry's eyebrows raised in surprise. "You fear (Y/n)'s anger?"
Hermione furrowed her eyebrows. "And you don't? Remember when she screamed out of frustration, and the whole Hogwarts castle shook because of her?"
Harry thought about it for a moment, and his expression instantly changed into a fearful one. "Oh, I wanted to forget about it. I thought she was going to bring the whole Hogwarts down." He nervously laughed. "It's just odd to think that you're scared of her."
"(Y/n) is rarely angry," Hermione replied. "She's usually calm, so if she's furious, you should at least prepare a prayer or ready a good apology."
Hermione looked back at the tent, hesitating. "Oh, to hell with it. I'm talking to her." She stood up, leaving Harry by the rocks.
"Good luck."
"Thanks, I'm going to need that a lot."
Hermione entered the tent to find you caressing the ring around your necklace with your back facing hers. She could hear the faint music playing from the radio. Hermione took a deep but shaky breath and approached you. "(Y/n)..."
You remained quiet and clutched tighter to the ring. Hermione walked towards you and tapped your shoulder. "Come on. Time's up. Take the locket off."
When Hermione noticed you weren't doing anything, Hermione sighed. "You have been wearing the Horcrux for almost a day. Please, (Y/n)."
To Hermione's relief, you did oblige and removed the locket from your neck, throwing it by the bed. Hermione was about to speak, but she was interrupted by you. "I should have known from the beginning." You spoke. "That you were hiding something from me."
You turned around and showed her the ring in your necklace. "None of you corrected me when I thought this Slytherin ring was from my father. I grew fond of the ring until I saw a name inside." You looked down to see the name carved inside the silver ring. "Malfoy."
Hermione remained quiet while you sat down on a chair. "I asked myself why would Lucius or Narcissa give me a Slytherin ring if I'm a Gryffindor. Unless I found it at their home and stole it." You took out the bracelet that was given to you in your first year at Hogwarts. "And then I also saw this."
You placed the accessory down at the table. "My parents didn't give me this, that's for damn sure. Nor did my sister." You looked up to Hermione, who was staring down at your bracelet. "Until this blonde boy kept showing up in my dreams. I disregarded it, but the dreams kept going, and they felt real. I couldn't see his face because it was always a blur."
Hermione looked at you as you stood up and walked towards her. "I'm guessing he's Draco Malfoy? The blonde boy I kept seeing in my dreams?"
Hermione slowly nodded. "(Y/n)--"
"Can I at least see him? Even in pictures would be enough."
Hermione's heart cracked when he heard your broken voice pleading. Tears formed in your eyes, but you controlled them from falling as you tried to keep your composure. Hermione shook her head. "I really shouldn't. We promised him--"
"So he did this." You softly gasped before sitting back down at the chair you were previously sitting in a little while ago. "Why? Why would he even--" You closed your eyes, allowing a tear to roll down your cheek. "Did I do something wrong? Was I an awful person to him? Did he hate me that much that he decided to remove my memories of him? Was he--"
"(Y/n)." Hermione stopped you from rambling and sat down beside you. "You didn't do anything wrong. You're everything to him; that's why he had to do this."
You opened your eyes and looked at her. "It hurts." You whispered. "So much. Whenever I dream of him and can't see his face, my heart hurts so much I can't breathe. I felt like a part of me was missing or that I have forgotten."
You grasped Hermione's hand as you stared at her with pleading eyes. "Hermione, please. At least let me see his face."
Harry stood by the entrance causing you and Hermione to glance at him. Hermione looked at Harry, quietly asking him what to do. Harry sighed and nodded at her, giving her the answer. Hermione took her bag and pulled out a picture frame inside. She handed it to you. "This was the only picture I could only keep and save. The rest were erased because of the charm, but they'll get back once he reverses it."
You stared down at the picture to see your younger self with a slightly taller young blonde boy, his hair was neatly slicked back, and his lips were curved into a small smile as if he was trying to contain himself from grinning. Your fingers gently ran down to the frame and then to the boy's face on the picture. "This is him?"
Hermione nodded. "Yeah. I think that picture was taken before we started our second year at Hogwarts."
A smile formed on your lips. "I wonder what he looks like now." The warm smile instantly faded when you looked up to Harry and Hermione. "Remind me to slap him if I ever see him again."
Harry chuckled. "Gladly." He fully entered the tent and sat down next to your other side. "We're sorry if we couldn't tell everything. We made a promise. Soon, Malfoy will explain everything to you."
You nodded wordlessly. Harry glanced at the radio before standing up and pulling you up. "Come on. Let's dance for a bit."
Your eyes narrowed. "Dance? Right now?"
Harry held your hands and danced with you, causing you to laugh. There were no specific dance steps to follow, so it was just you and Harry dancing with no pattern and sync together. Hermione laughed as you pulled her out of her seat. Harry twirled you and Hermione around, causing you to chuckle. The three of you started dancing, feeling free and happy, even just for a moment.
The three of you pulled away, each taking seats in different places. Harry sat by a chair, Hermione sat down on the steps of the stairs, and you laid down at your bed.
You let out a loud exhale. "If you could be anywhere..." You whispered in a singing manner. "...then where would you be?"
Harry and Hermione sat up straight when they heard you singing. "Where did you hear that?" Hermione asked.
You glanced at them. "In my dreams. I don't remember who sang it, though."

"Hermione! (Y/n)!"
You and Hermione turned around to see Harry getting out of the tent with the Golden Snitch in hand. Hermione stopped reading and watched Harry stumble his way to you and her. "You two were right. Snitches have flesh memories, but I didn't catch the first Snitch with my hand; I almost swallowed it."
Harry lent the Snitch to Hermione and sat down beside you. "Did you almost eat the Snitch in frustration? That's why you're telling us this?"
Hermione cracked a smile while Harry shook his head. "No, no. I placed my lips on it."
"So you were kissing it?"
"I--"
"I open at the close." Hermione read out loud, interrupting Harry. You and Harry looked at her. "What do you guys think that means?"
Hermione shrugged. "I don't know." She glanced at you and picked her book beside her. "(Y/n) and I found something as well." She opened the book of The Tales of Beedle the Bard, causing you and Harry to lean closer to her. "At first, I thought it was an eye, but now I don't think it is. It isn't a rune, and it isn't anywhere in Spellman's Syllabary."
You looked closer at the page she was showing and realized it was the same symbol you two discussed earlier. The mark was a triangle with one vertical line and a circle inside of it. "Somebody inked it in." You said. "It isn't part of the book. Somebody drew it."
"Luna's dad was wearing that at Bill and Fleur's wedding."
"Why would someone draw it in a children's book?"
Harry looked at you. "What?"
You glanced at your two friends and pointed at the sign. "I don't know much, but there was a Dark Wizard called Gellert Grindelwald. Some people say this was his mark, but... I think there's more to it."
Harry thought for a moment. "Look, I've been thinking." He spoke. "I want to go to Godric's Hollow. It's where I was born. It's where my parents died."
Hermione sighed and shook her head. "That's exactly where he'll expect you to go because it means something to you." She stood up, causing Harry to stand up as well. "W-Well, y-yeah, but--" He stammered. "But it means something to him too, Hermione. You-Know-Who almost died there. I mean, isn't that exactly the type of place he'd be likely to hide a Horcrux?"
You stood up and stood beside Hermione. "It's dangerous, Harry." You let out a sigh and frowned. "But, I hate to admit it. YouΒ may have a point. Hermione and I have been recently thinking about going there."
You and Hermione walked with Harry following behind, so you two missed Harry pumping his fists up in victory. "I think it's possible something else is hidden there," Hermione added.
"What?" Harry asked.
Hermione glanced at Harry. "The sword." She replied before continuing to walk. "If Dumbledore wanted you to find it but didn't want it in the Ministry's hands, where better to hide it than the birthplace of the founder of Gryffindor?"
"Hermione..."
You looked at Hermione and Harry when Hermione slightly fixed Harry's hair. "Don't ever let me give you a haircut again."
