"So, how are you?"

You flinched as you tore your eyes away from the window and faced Hermione. Together with the other students, you and your friends were now on the train on your way to Hogwarts. You glanced at Harry and Ron who were looking at you and waiting for an answer. "What?"

"After everything happened..." Hermione replied. "We're glad that your mother still allowed you to come to Hogwarts."

You smiled. "She was hesitant. She said it's too dangerous to come back, but Megan and I reasoned with her."

"How about your little brother?" Ron asked in curiosity.

"Mum's bringing him to a family friend out of Britain." You answered. "She doesn't want Cameron to be any near danger."

"It's safe in Hogwarts (Y/n)," Harry reassured. "I mean, Dumbledore's there."

You gave him a look. "Not to offend you or him or anyone, but for the last six years, we've been in trouble a lot of times, even if Dumbledore was there. Besides, we shouldn't always depend on him."

"Quibbler!" You heard Luna's faint and small voice from afar. Hermione cleared her throat as she changed the topic. "Harry's the new Gryffindor Quidditch Captain now."

You looked at him with a smile. "That's good news!"

Harry chuckled. "Thanks..." But you could tell something else was bothering him. He wanted to discuss something far more important than the news of him becoming a Quidditch Captain. Hermione opened her mouth to speak. "He--"

"So, what was Draco doing with that weird-looking cabinet?" Harry asked out of the blue while your eyebrows raised in surprise and confusion. "What?" You asked.

"We spotted Draco with his mother in the Borgin and Burkes," Hermione informed. "And there were few more people around."

"Don't you see? It was a ceremony." Harry replied. You furrowed your eyebrows at him as you looked at him. "An initiation."

"Stop it, Harry." Hermione demanded. "I know where you're going with this."

"It's happened." Harry added. "He's one of them."

"One of what?" Ron asked.

Hermione sighed and glanced at you. "Harry's under the impression Draco Malfoy is now a Death Eater."

You let out a laugh while Ron gasped. When Harry didn't laugh back, you frowned. "Oh, please. That can't be true." You retorted. "Malfoy is not a Death Eater."

"You're barking." Ron said. "What would You-Know-Who want with a sod like Malfoy?"

You sent a slight glare at Ron, who flinched and raised his arms up in fear. "Sorry."

"Oh, then what's he doing in Borgin and Burkes?" Harry asked. "Browsing for furniture?"

"It's a creepy shop." You muttered under your breath.

"He's a creepy bloke," Ron added.

"Look, his father is a Death Eater," Harry replied. "It only makes sense. Besides, Hermione saw it with her own eyes."

You looked at Hermione, who sighed. "I told you, I don't know what I saw."

You shook your head and sighed in frustration. "I need some air." You suddenly stood up and walked out of the compartment. Hermione slapped Harry's lap, earning a wince from the boy. "What?"

"Did you really have to discuss it in front of her?"

"To be fair, Hermione, you explained what I was thinking and talking about," Harry replied. "Besides, she has to know that her friend's one of them."

You walked faster until you bumped into someone. You looked at the person who you bumped into. "Luna!" You greeted with a gasp.

Luna smiled warmly. "Oh hello, (Y/n)!"

You looked down at the Quibblers in her arms. "Need a hand? Want me to help you?" You asked, reaching your hand out.

Luna looked down before looking back at you. "Are you sure?"

You nodded. "Mhm."

She smiled shyly. "Alright. Thank you, (Y/n)." She gave you some Quibblers as she started yelling, "Quibbler!"

You followed Luna as she passed some Quibblers to some students who were interested. You looked back to see Ginny and Dean talking to each other lovingly. Ginny glanced at you and waved at you. You smiled in return before focusing on helping Luna.

But as you passed by some people, you noticed that majority of the people who were out of their compartments were couples talking, hugging, or snogging. You looked away and bit your inner cheek in annoyance. 'Get a room.' You scolded them mentally.

Harry got out of the compartment and spotted you and Luna stopping by when Luna talked to Neville from afar. Harry held on to his Invisibility Cloak and an object he bought from Fred and George's joke shop, Weasleys' Wizard Wheezes.

"Peruvian Instant Darkness Powder."

"A real money-spinner, that one."

"Handy if you need to make a quick getaway."

Harry quietly and sneakily passed by you and Luna to reach the area where Slytherins used to sit. Although he thought he was sneaky, you did notice Harry's raven hair. You pressed your lips into a thin line before looking away.

Harry suddenly used the powder, quickly spreading it around the train car. Everyone around shrieked while Draco, who was standing, frantically looked around in annoyance. "What was that? Blaise?"

"Don't know," Blaise replied with a shrug.

"Relax, boys. It's probably just a first-year messing around." Pansy reassured. "Come on, Draco. Sit down. We'll be at Hogwarts soon."

Draco took one last look around before sitting down at the opposite side of Pansy and Blaise while Crabbe, Goyle, Stacey, and Daphne were on the other side. He sighed. "Hogwarts. What a pathetic excuse for a school." He hissed, looking at Pansy and Blaise. "I think I'd pitch myself off the Astronomy Tower if I had to continue for another two years."

Pansy leaned in and furrowed her eyebrows in confusion. "What's that supposed to mean?"

Draco looked away for a moment and chuckled a bit before looking back at his friends. "Let's just say you won't see me wasting my time in Charms class next year."

Blaise snickered with an amused smirk earning a glare from Draco. "Amused, Blaise? We'll see just who's laughing in the end."

Draco looked up when he noticed something odd. His bag moved a bit. Draco thought it was the train's fault, so he eyed it for a bit until he saw it moved again. 'Now I'm sure it wasn't the train's fault... Potter.'

"Quibbler?"

Draco tore his eyes away from his bag and the hidden Harry when he heard Luna Lovegood's voice. His eyes slightly widened when he spotted you just behind Luna.

Daphne smiled kindly. "I would like one, please, Luna."

Draco ignored Daphne's surprisingly kind gesture and attitude. He also did not notice Pansy's stare at Daphne. Pansy softly gulped as she clenched her fists when she saw Daphne smile.

Your eyes searched everywhere to find something interesting until they landed on Draco. Your breath hitched, and you almost clung to Luna when you locked eyes with Draco Malfoy.

You and Draco haven't been in touch since the end of the fifth year. After the revelation of Edward Stark's killer and Lucius Malfoy's imprisonment on Azkaban, you two lost connection. You wanted to write to him, but no words were written on the blank paper: only ink dots and unwritten feelings.

Draco, on the other hand, had a busy summer. Not only did his father was in Azkaban, but he was also given a difficult task to keep his family safe. And that means he has to be farther away from you.

But he didn't want to be away from you.

Your hands clutched on the Quibblers you were holding as you inhaled sharply. You told yourself that you wanted to be brave and finally call him yours, but you realized your situation now was more complicated than before. You regretted that you didn't have the guts for you and Draco to have an official romantic relationship because of how scared you are and the feud between him and your family.

Draco looked down before looking away, softly gulping. You looked away as well, ignoring Stacey when she spotted you. Luna turned around and took your hand, bringing you back to reality. "Come on, (Y/n)." She noticed something. "(Y/n). Are you alright? Your crying."

You instantly looked at Luna and raised your hand to feel your cheeks. Your fingers felt your tears streaming down your face. Draco looked up and noticed you were in tears. But you were surprised. Perhaps everything was too much that you unconsciously started crying.

You glanced at Draco before taking Luna's hand. "Let's go." You walked away with her, not looking back at the worried Slytherin boy. Draco sighed as he ran his fingers through his hair.

"For Merlin's sake, Draco, just kiss her." Pansy scoffed as she crossed her arms. "Honestly, I'm sick of you two unable to have a relationship."

"Did you just root for (Y/n) and Draco?" Stacey asked in shock.

"Please, Doom, the two are lovesick of each other," Pansy replied. "I might as well give up Draco for that Gryffindor."

Daphne's eyes lit up in delight. "Really?"

Pansy turned to her, biting her inner cheek and hesitating to talk to her. "Yeah, I guess."

Soon, the train arrived at Hogwarts. Pansy and Blaise stood up and got their bags while Draco remained seated. Blaise, Pansy, and the others started walking away while Stacey stayed behind and looked at him. "Draco?"

Draco looked at Stacey, who stretched her hand out for him to take, but the boy shook his head. "You go ahead." He told her. "I want to check something."

Stacey frowned but nodded and followed the rest out. Once everyone was out, Draco stood up and took his bag out. He approached the door, closed it, and shut the curtains down.

"Didn't Mummy ever tell you it was rude to eavesdrop, Potter?" Draco questioned, pulling his wand out. As he turned around, Draco whipped his wand up where Harry was. "Petrificus Totalus!"

Harry harshly fell, and Draco heard a loud thud. Draco set his bag down and walked towards him, pulling the Invisibility Cloak away, revealing Harry Potter unable to move and whose nose was broken and bleeding when he hit the ground.

Draco clenched his fists as he looked down at Harry. He clenched his jaw in annoyance. "You're a stubborn one, aren't you?" He scoffed. "Advice? Stay the hell away from me and keep (Y/n) safe, will you?"

He covered Harry up with the Invisibility Cloak again before walking towards the door, glancing at him before leaving the train.
